Dfinex:Thank you so much! |
I thought this was funny because I had no idea what I was saying, he said it was a song
|
I went on Google yesterday and found some things, he called me and told me it was a song and then sang it to me lol ![]() |
Dfinex:Oh! No I don't want to hurt him or make him angry. ![]() I just want to tell him sweet things. He calls me honey, sugar, angel. I don't want to be calling him bad names lol no |
Phut:Thank you! I'm going to screenshot this to have it handy when I need it. |
Largas:Thank you! Yes this settles it lol |
I just sent him this "Nkem a hurum gi n'anya" how did I do? |
I'm trying to post his picture but for some reason it won't, let me try again
|
Dfinex:Fire on the mountain? Is that good or bad ![]() |
He is going to Nigeria next month for a month. I'm going to miss him so much. He asked for my families measurements so he can bring me some dresses. He asked me did I want any food, I have eaten Nigerian food, but I have never had stock fish so he's going to bring me some of that. He said he is going to sell some of his properties so he can get us a nice house, he wants me to go with him one day and that's always been a dream of mine so I am a happy woman. Here's my darling... He calls me Nkem |
nnamdiokere45:Thank you! ![]() |
Largas:Oh ok because when I met him and asked what tribe he is from, I said are you Igbo? He said yes but not regular Igbo, I'm delta Igbo. I didn't understand, so thank you for the explanation ![]() |
nnamdiokere45:Ok what does it mean please lol |
ibe9ja:Is there anything wrong with that? One of my best friends is Igbo , she's never done anything bad to me. |
Hi guys been a while since I posted last, but I need some help. My baby always sends me sweet things in English and Igbo and he's trying to teach me and all, but I need extra help. He has traveled to Texas, and will be back Tuesday. In the mean time I would like to send him some sweet messages expressing me love for him. My Chiadika is the man of my dreams, I've always wanted to marry a Nigerian man, an Igbo man. Please help me. Oh and can you help me understand what a Delta Igbo is? Lol |
Qualer:Thank you, if I could have married a Nigerian man I would have, African men in general love me, I meet them a the time, so handsome and dark smooth skin my goodness, but it was too late for me unfortunately lol ![]() |
VomeSchakleton:This is true but does that make me more or less African? Lol I wonder because the average African American has 70-99% west African DNA and the average African American has at least 1 white ancestor, but you can look at my dads people and tell there is not white in his lineage at all, they are very tall slim and dark skinned, my moms side is short, light skinned and have some members that look white or half but I carry more of my fathers DNA I am dark skinned, high cheekbones, strong, sure we are mixed but I will say I'm African until the day I die. Like where is Africa America, theres no such place ![]() |
curi00:I will have my brothers do my fathers line and I'll do my mothers. I know its a stretch but I am willing to accept what I can get, I know I am West African, but to know more would be amazing! ![]() |
AfroAmerican:Thank you, yes I know, I think the Uganda comment was supposed to be an insult, but I am not bothered, thank you for your kind comment! ![]() |
I will go as far as to say that you certainly do look as though you may have strong ties to SE Nigeria, and in saying so... Igbo is the most logical guess as to which specific ethnic group from that region you may descend from.
() |
TheTransformer:Thank you! This makes me feel a little better about who I am ( I mean I am always proud to be African) but to hear you say I can blend in makes me feel great, thank you! ![]() |
TheTransformer:Thank you very much, too much heat makes me physically ill, but I will adjust as long as there is air conditioning lol |
I am married, my husband and I both watch it, sometimes together sometimes alone. I enjoy it, especially now while my husband is away on business, I would rather watch it than go cheat on my husband for the real thing ![]() |

whoever sleeps with these type of women are suspect to me, yuck |
Blueeyedboi:I have been this was since I was a child and I am 35 now lol and yes there are plenty of blacks here in America and other countries that try to deny who they are and where they come from, and I think its really ridiculous! I mean why be ashamed of who you are and where you come from? There are also a lot of us who want to go HOME! But you never really hear about us I am sure, I am sure you hear of the fools that don't like to put AFRICAN in front of American, those that don't do anything but ask silly questions every time they meet an African person, asking crap like do you kill lions and do you all wear clothes my daughters high school teacher said "why would your mom want to move to Africa, its so dirty and poor there" UNBELIEVABLE! Her teacher is white and I wanted to slap her face off, I said tell your teacher, there are many rich people over there that could buy and sell her life! Any time anyone insults anything to do with Africa and her people I get pissed off, more so when its another black person! I am tired of the people here, fighting, shooting each other, unlimited babies and no husbands, full jails, crime, death I am sick of it all, its out of control. I live in a small town that used to be safe, not so much any more. I want to live somewhere that is rich in history and tradition. Sure we had some, but this new generation of idiots and losers are destroying everything my people died for, so I am ready to leave.... I just hope I am welcomed with open arms <3 |
My best friend is from Lagos, she says I look Ibo (Igbo) so I will go with that until I know for sure lol my husband and I are both descendants of slaves, he Afro-Mexican and I am from the USA, I want us to take pictures like this one. I love the clothes and will be getting some. I also love Nigerian food and music. You guys rock! ![]()

I just typed up a whole paragraph and it didn't post smh |
I would be moving to the city I know there is power in the city lol, where I live I dont live in town, I live out on the country, we lose power out here in winter with the ice storms it drives me nuts when it goes out no TV, no WiFi, no nothing, but I would also like to experience village life at least for once! |
Blueeyedboi:To be honest, if Donald Trump is elected I will be moving there forever lol I eventually want to move back home (where ever that is) but I will live out my last days in Africa somewhere. I have a decent amount of money, I would love to build a house there, that would be a dream! Maybe start a business to help women and children, I have 4 of my own, so I know things can get tough sometimes. I just don't want anyone to be rude to me because I am African American and I don't know my history blah blah blah, that's not my fault, if I had a choice, I would have chose to be born in Africa! |
