A note to all the women in this thread. i just cant believe you all are ignoring your fellow woman(Nengi) just to vote for laycon. Talking about women supporting each other in Nigeria. how then can a woman win a Governor seat in Nigeria? seriously they say charity begins at home. Your support for Nengi will go a long way in women empowerment in Nigeria. As a woman reading my post, you know i am saying the truth.

I'm a feminist and yes, I want Laycon to win. What we are fighting for is Gender Equity not necessarily Affirmative Action.

If a woman coming out for Governor is the best choice, I'd vote her. But in my head, she doesn't have an advantage due to her gender. I'd vote in a man if I feel he is the best for the job.

In like manner, my love for Nengi doesn't trump my want for a Laycon win. It shouldn't be about her gender. It should be what you want. Men also support Nengi.

I see your point and would like to add... Success are popularity are not always mutually exclusive.

Cr7 and Messi are damn successful. They are as successful in their career as Musk is in his own. Their footballing careers might not look as sexy as taking a man to space or redefining human transportation (these are humongous btw) but they have achieved things that people before them haven't.

Footballing impact wouldn't be felt as much as technological impact but they are impact all the same and their achievements can't be overlooked. Beethoven, Bach and Mozart have impacted generations in a different way than MLK. The impact of Pythagoras or Euclid would always be felt. Even Kasparov, Fischer, Morphy, Capablanca, etc have impacted this world in their own ways.

In the end, it's all about pushing known boundaries to the limit and advancing the human race. If you do this in the area of technology, education, health, diplomacy, art, etc and you get to the pinnacle of your sector. Then, my friend, you are as successful as any other person.
