Venita:For a second, I thought you were Venita Akpofure of BBN4. ![]() |

It's a nice series. I'm usually selective... didn't even check the ratings on IMDB (8.5/10) at first. But it's nice. Back to BBNaija. |
Threebear:Currently watching Empress Ki on Netflix... So nice. I'm in episode 44 of Season 1. |
ThreeBear and Safarigirl looks like a proper matchup. Hope you guys reconcile. I miss Safarigirl's detailed recount of events...and I enjoy ThreeBear's posts and predictions. I also miss the banter between Froshloaded and Tatiana4u. |
This presentation got me thinking about the love language(s) spoken by men and women... We have been different throughout history. Do we speak the same love language? |
I'm impressed with all the HMs. I think they are doing well with the presentations. I hope they win the wager. |
I'd like to hear a female big brother. Or maybe a Big Sister... Would be fun. |
jayjaycee0:To be honest, this post made me respect you. I was almost classifying you together with a certain Igbo man who never sees the goodness in Laycon. I've always maintained that no one can be without their flaws. It is okay for people to like their faves and all...but not being able to acknowledge the goodness in another participant simply because they aren't your favourites makes it hard for me to take those people's opinion seriously. I respect you for objectively acknowledging someone's talent even though you don't necessarily support him. Quite similar here, I really like all Kiddwaya and Nengi brings to the show.... They are possibly my top 2.... but I want LAYCON to win this season and if he gets to the final round I will put all my votes on him. |
No one can be perfect...! To be honest, Lucy should be a contender for the top prize... So sad she doesn't really have the fans to make that happen... This week has not been so excellent for Kiddwaya but I still like him My people still remain my people... Kiddwaya my guy, Nengi my girl... Laycon for the prize. |
I love Kiddwaya but these guys are clowns... I can't stop laughing! ![]() |
Jackson105:I didn't know ThreeBear was a female. Just assumed it was a guy. |
jayjaycee0:I saw this quote and looked up highlights of BB All Stars and BB other developed countries. It's a GAME over there... almost like Game of Thrones where people know what they are trying to get and make alliances based on their aspirations and not their hearts... It's so different from what we have here... which is reflective of our society. In any case, would be nice to see Efe, Bisola, TBoss, Miracle, Tobi, CeeC, Mercy, Tacha, Mike, Erica, Kiddwaya, Laycon... and any other 3 from any set... in one house playing for BB Naija All Stars. Would be interesting to watch. |
KIDDWAYA!!!!!!! KIDDWAYA might just WIN this!! I stan Kidd!! KIDDWAYA na Man. Still want Laycon to win tho...! |
Threebear:Nice one man!! Our Deloitte Plug. ![]() |
Cheaper:I noticed this too. Guy is doing well. |
Also, these guys are humans... There is NO WAY a man or woman will do nothing wrong in the public eye for 4 weeks straight...especially when you scrutinise every aspect of their lives 24/7. It's surprising how people "unstan" their faves after an unexpected action...but I get it, fans need to drag their rivals to portray them in a negative light. |
Surprisingly, I like all the housemates... but so far, I think I like Laycon, Kiddwaya and Nengi most. Could change next week. The best thing about BBNAIJA for me is seeing young adults navigating real life relationship issues. It's a microcosm of the real world and I'm sure most of us can relate to one or more of the events. |
Wan Hundred PERCENT!! ![]() |
Froshloaded:Thanks. With this, Kaisha and Wathoni are out. |
Has ThreeBear mentioned the bottom 4? I've been waiting for it. |
I'm really enjoying this Q&A between Ozo and Nengi. Quite interesting ![]() |
thatigboman:This made me laugh so hard! ![]() Like, this guy found a way to pin the loss of the wager on Laycon. ![]() |
ethicallyright:I think you have a fantastic point and it makes total sense to me. Best interpretation rather than anointed fellow should win. The problem, therefore, would be the messaging from the organizers of the show... I do not think it is clear cut that "this" i.e the theme of the show, is what they are looking for. For instance, bbnaija lockdown is ambiguous and open to interpretation... and people could interpret it differently. Also, and very importantly, when there are no judges or better still, when the judging panel is the public, sentiments are DEFINITELY bound to come in. I remember a season on BGT when the winner won because he told a story of a well loved retired military officer with cards (was a magician). When I saw him telling that emotional story fully dressed in his Military uniform with Gustav Host's Thaxted tune playing in the background, I knew it was over. You can't beat this. Ofcourse, Simon Cowell and the other judges had to salute when the man himself was presented at 96 or so. There were waaaayyyyyy better performances in that final but men, I just knew he had won and boy! Did he? In summary, sentiments will always be a part of it. Messaging should be clearer moving forward. Cheers. |
Why are you guys saying those voting Laycon are following the bandwagon...and that he is not bringing anything to the show? One of the good things about Liberalism is that it affords all of us the opportunity to have choices, even though they may be different. We respect other people's choices, make superior arguments if need be, because we understand we are different. I'd assume that most (not all) people that watch BBN are liberals and not conservatives. Big Brother Naija doesn't have an underlying theme (I stand to be corrected). It's not a Project Fame or Got talent where we know what we are looking for from the get go. People like people differently. Telling someone he/she is stupid (or some other names) because they don't like what you like is a characteristic of one of the very thing we generally speak up against. Last season, I loved both T and M. I follow both and I am genuinely happy for them. I was one of those wishing they make up in the reunion. This season, I have an open mind so far... but I'm surprised at how people find it difficult to stan their favourites without bashing others. Well, what do I know? |
I love reading the BBN threads on Nairialand because of the different opinions. It's so refreshing. No one is free from bashing or commendations. However, for silent readers like us, I'd only ask that when recounting events in the house, you do so devoid of emotions and tell us exactly what happened without colouring the event. You can then talk about your own feelings in a different paragraph. Na beg I dey beg. Abeg. I've read some version of events here only to find out it was a coloured version. Many thanks for your continued missives and bants. |
Brighto just made me laugh so hard this night! |
NegroAcheiver:Please, what happened? |
Please eh, What did Ozo do this night? I'm seeing comments that he messed up with Nengi... |
This game is not particularly difficult. I'm surprised they aren't doing better... I just think these guys are not serious... Ozo had led the way and no one learnt a thing... |
