Seems they've started sending success mails. |
Same here. A friend just got invited for interviews also. Please how are you guys preparing? |
Mastercard just sent me love letter |
Hiba1:The silence is really loud. I've also not seen any update on their pages. No rejection or acceptance mail. No communication. Do you have any idea of people that applied and whether they've been sent mails? |
This thread is to get updates on the Mastercard scholarship at the University of Edinburgh for the 2023/2024 academic session. Per their application timeline, shortlisting of applicants for interviews is supposed to take place between 27 March to 30 March. It's already the 30th of March and I'm yet to see any information regarding this from Mastercard. Please, has anyone received an interview invite or a regret mail? Let's converge on this thread.

Hey man DM Me let me help you prepare. You should be fine. |
Hi Guys, A friend of mine just got the Chevening scholarship for Nigeria. He earns 350k net currently and is in line for a promotion very soon that should take his salary to above 400. Does anyone think it's advisable to leave the job and go for the scholarship? The school session starts in September but he's trying to hear from people with past Chevening experience since he has to come back to Nigeria for two years. |
stroller9795:Thanks. |
I've not been following this year's BBN actively like last year's own. Please, can anyone just tell me who the top 5 contestants right now or should I say the participants with the strongest fanbase right now. |
oladipupo2234:Good to know. Would be interesting to know if your wife was successful in luring you back ![]() |
safarigirl:But he could also have other reasons to nominate him. He might see him as a strong contender and decide to increase his own chances without any hard feelings. |
Froshloaded:Ohhh... Okay. Makes sense now. Thanks. |
Over 1000 people currently viewing this page. Wow. Last year finale didn't have up to this number. Is this a mistake from the algorithm? |
Please, is it possible to block people on Nairaland, where I wouldn't see their commentary at all? Some people have been irritating me since yesterday with their takes (mostly one person sha). I had to login and stop viewing as a guest to make this post. |
Has anyone applied for this job yet? Let us come to this thread and share our experiences. |
igasiboy98:They will reach it. Momentum will build up at some point and they would reach that target. After that, they'd surpass it. That is if they don't withdraw the 60k now and close the account. |
To be honest, Erica's GFM has done really well. I see her going beyond the $100k that was set and getting up to say 45 million naira in total. Her fans have gone the extra mile to make her really happy. She should be proud of all Elites. But, no one should compare her GFM donations to Laycon's winning. Laycon is winning an SUV of over 17m and a house worth about 25m (not so sure). In addition to the extra things he has won. He'd be remembered as the BBNaija winner (when he wins hopefully). That was the reason for the show. At the very core, Erica is an actress while Laycon is a musician. They will both be successful in their careers. But, do not undermine Laycon winning the show because of Erica's 100k GFM. The Sky is big enough for all. |
Geezeem:I'm looking at numbers. I was curious to see whether this page would last till 8000 pages. It did. |
Eeghe:Yeah. There was enough content to make people interested for an extra thousand page. |
When I heard the show was over according to some people, I had no idea this thread would reach 8000 pages before the show ended. Well, what do I know? ![]() |
Bulldozer90:Laycon has engaged in various conversations which he has shown to possess an indepth knowledge of. Examples range from history, politics, societal issues, music, etc. This could be traced to his background in philosophy. He doesn't need to have the genius of Euler to be considered intelligent. He is intelligent. Ozo is also intelligent. Kiddwaya has the highest Emotional Quotient (in my humble opinion). There are different areas people loosely classify as intelligence. The fact that someone possess one doesn't make the other person less intelligent. Messi is intelligent. But he certainly isn't Einstein. |
observer222:I have been waiting for your update. This is nice to see. All I want is for Laycon to surpass Efe's percentage. Please update us after voting is closed. |
This week has been entertaining. |
I really can't believe what I am reading on this forum. Have Nigerians lost all compassion? I honestly cannot believe that some people are cashing in on Laycon's revelation to either campaign for or decampaign him, discredit the Big Brother Naija franchise, or even mention other HMs names. I thought this would be taken profoundly. Forget about everything, Laycon has been loved from day 1 for so many reasons. He has had the opportunity to talk about this time and time again but he didn't. He was asked point blank and he revealed it. It's so sad to see people using his revelation as a tool to either support or attack him. Have you no shame for yourself? Your dislike for Laycon shouldn't make you forgo all reasoning. Some things are IMPORTANT! Some things are PROFOUND! Think for yourselves! Don't be sheep! |
QueenCookie:Who are those in the second team? |
These guys are looking for pity votes o... ![]() First Dorathy, now Neo. |
observer222:This was the most accurate this week. Kudos man. I hope you find a space in your heart to VOTE Laycon. |
KingAzubuike:Please who has that laughing picture? ![]() |
Simran94:Lol |
OffsahBoye:Wow. That's some real sanity right there. State elections are more important than BBNaija. |

as before
