The string to be inserted is the one in yellow.Discovered this feature when I was on the Romanian ROM |
For those M3M users who want their screens to light up at 3 mins intervals for missed calls and msgs without installing any app. use the build.prop edit as shown in the attached screenshot.

seunlayi:Any major differences from the original stock ROM Sir? |
@Jaiyejina the apps can be moved to sdcard from app manager. Its just d data that I haven't had luck with moving yet. I am yet to see a fix for it as at now |
Got an inbox response at 4pda from Ru123123 this morning. He's still working on the new rom but hasn't been able to get the camera to run yet.Lets pray he makes a breakthrough soon.Kudos to Ru |

This is the latest post by Ru123123 on the rom issue. It was translated with Google translate so the translation may not be 100% accurate. It's like guessing on the coffee grounds. So far I do not want to work on it with a camera, the rest is kind of already alive and quite usable. Although the rom name isn't mentioned, it appears Ru is having some headway. I'd prefer him to comment here though |
@Ru123123 Any luck with the new custom rom you mentioned you were working on sometime ago. Cheers mate |
So I came across this custom ROM today for Allview p5 today. Any chance it'll work on the M3M? http://miuiupdate.com/miui-7-rom-update-stable-allview-p5-flash-file/ |

It is the one RU posted earlier |
@Seun after I flashed twrp 3.0 with spflashtool as explained earlier. I thereafter booted into Recovery mode to grant permission for system modification while trying to reboot the phone, I got a prompt from twrp that it appears that the phone wasn't rooted. it requested permission to root the phone which I granted. Twrp then rooted the phone |
to get twrp recovery without first rooting what I did was to overwrite the original recovery image in the ROM folder with the twrp recovery image. Thereafter I flashed ONLY the recovery image with spflashtool |
@ Ochuski the ROM is only flashable with spflashtool |
no glitch thus far for me

if you have twrp IMG you can flash it with spflash tool |
