Please can someone help me understand all fees associated with buying land in Lagos or Ogun State? Is there a reference or guide you can point me to. I am interested in understanding all fees that I need to account for in addition to the advertised cost of the land. for example:

* Closing costs
* Legal (will I need a real estate lawyer?)
* Agent fees (who is responsible for paying the agent, buyer or seller).
* When a land is advertised as being in an Estate. Are there fees to start building? Monthly estate fees?

I'm going to go against the grain here. Have you considered that he's checking you out to confirm what you're saying?

1. You told him you have your own place, you love him, you want to get married, etc... Yet when it comes to coming down to meet you, he can't stay with you. In his mind, maybe this girl is feeding me lies.

2. You want him to send his ID information? Really? 419 rings a bell?

I'm just saying consider his point of view. You're thinking you that he's a Gigolo, he's likely thinking you want him because of his country of residence and possibly lying to him and maybe working with potential 419 artist
