Oga sir, there is a right; which is NBET. The building is actually shared between the duo. NERC is left wing while NBET is right wing. I was just cruising with the guy who i think has also been cruising with us all along.
Bonjovi13:

Silly boy. This shows you haven't been to NERC HQ.
You can only be directed to the lift on the left of the reception. No straight ahead, no right.
Be serious here little boy

With this your answer, i am very sure you didn’t pass the first test. Your accessing the building was not the point of my question, rather your navigating the building. You go right, left or straight ahead?
backT:

Asking me a silly question on how I entered NERC HQ is absurd. I work with an organization that is supervising NERC and attended so many meetings at the HQ before this invite. So entering the place will not be a problem to me.

This is truth at it’s best…
Make who gree, gree. Who no gree a kara gaba!

iPrinz20:
Yesterday, I was opportune to speak with a grade-A Rep member about this recruitment. The summary of our long talk is that, appointment will be based largely on Merit.

According to him, NERC is a quasi-government agency and the recruitment process is being handled by a contractor, politicians will have minimal influence.

Even if anyone will influence it for you, you must at least pass the exam satisfactorily then the person can put in positive words for you.

Merit leads here.

I am one of those that went for the oral interview. We did it at NERC Headquarters at Central Business District, Abuja.

But how comes I didn’t see you? Were you directed straight ahead, to the left or to the right when you got to the reception of the said NERC HQ

Boss, you mean you dropped out?

Olowozain:

I found out that we are in a world well lies prevail, sell and succeed. Glory be to God Almighty for the success He has given to me so far home and abroad. I had despised government and their ways of life, all through my career, I never get near their Activities. However, people keep telling me, if we continue to shy away from the responsibilities of government, who will fixed things? Shall we continue to leave things for this people, that drew my attention and interest to applied for this job because I know how my knowledge, experience and network could add a quota. I was shortlisted, and never participated further as I can't moved out to write this type of silly test after clarifying that Nigeria predicaments are irreversible and irreparable until the day of resurrection. Was this the industry based test for professionals? Smiles! All they think and designed for is how to enriched their pockets, they don't really care about who get the job or not!

A typical Nigerian is naturally greedy and self-centred just like the leaders we have in politics.
No fair judgement in their sense of thinking, more reason why the country can't get better.
Why would you even apply for another government job when you're already working for that same government.

Not everyone works solely for survival, the ill state of Nigeria is why some of us are working at the wrong places and need to move to the right place. If i send you my CV i am 90% sure you will recommend me for the position I applied for.

Interesting one! I pray that your dream comes true! I am impressed by your dream because it is rare to find someone more attached to a particular organisation, but I am more fascinated by why you dreamed of working for a particular organisation! You are a talented electrical and electronic engineer but how your technical experienced, knowledge, skills, vision and personality are translated to NERC goals and objectives really matter to everyone! Best of luck!

Thank you so much for the support, may God Almighty see us through

I feel you. There is nothing that makes one feel more accomplished than working in a place where you will have the opportunity of practicing what you have mastered. NERC wasn't stupid when they quoted people like you in their requirements.

Thanks for the support, may God see us through.

It's Only in Nigeria that you will see a lot of already made people (some are either already working class or successful entrepreneurers) and still searching for federal government work, thereby reducing poor man's chances that doesn't have anything to rely on after the whole process.

I feel attacked by this comment. I am working with an FG agency that runs a Social Security Scheme. I am a Certified Electrical Engineer and have been practicing before the Government Job. I worked hard to get the practical knowledge not from classroom, ask what it takes to get a COREN certification; okay? I got that too… all of a sudden i was given a job I didn’t apply for. I definitely appreciate it but I DON’T FEEL PRODUCTIVE. Since as a student, my dream has been to work with NERC. I have followed every development, every news, every publication, every achievement and all of a sudden, a perfect vacancy surfaces that has my exact academic qualification and work experience as requirement, everyone who knows me well shared this advert with me and someone is here saying i am blocking another person? SHOULD ANYONE FEEL MORE DESERVING AND ENTITLED THAN ME?

Work to some of us; is not about survival. If it was for the pay i would stay where i am because no job can be as stress free as my current job.
This is about VALUE ADDITION!

Starter from week1 to 4 then finisher week 5 to week 8 be the standard or week 6 based on hustlers level. As for me i sell my birds at 5 weeks old averaging 2kg.

hafeezibnfattah:
In the abscence of diseases, and following of the proper feeding regime. I.e., starter ration till third week, followed by grower till 6th week then finisher ration. The birds should perform well

NB: I've lost about 5 birds same way

This is the work of that type of rat with a long mouth. The most often eat the brain of your birds, if they have adequate time they will move to the intestine and subsequently return ro the remaining head.

That's why i been ask earlier if you sabi street.
1. You don't or won't need t/fare...
2. You may not have to pay for your food
3. Most office workers don't wear good clothes, try paying attention.
4. Security room dey your office last last, bond with them. Reason them say na your previous work na him be this. Na d security pay you take do degree, give them hope!

Dblock89:
The reason I said so is because,
1-You will need money for your transportation to work daily

2-You will need money for your feeding daily

3- You need money to buy good clothes for work
4-You need money to pay for your rent because if you were staying with someone when you start working everything changes nobody want to hear that you are not collecting salary and same goes to your girlfriend and family as well, so brother it is impossible to change this narrative perhaps sentiment.

Oga you sabi street?

Dblock89:
Oga this is almost impossible now because you can't be working for someone for a year without getting even 30% of your salary, why not just tell the person to be collecting some percentage of your salary monthly so that you can pay your bills monthly with the one left with you.

Good to know you didn't fall a victim of the scam call. Those information you mentioned that the guy have are not so sensitive.

Your name, account number, BVN number, email address. These are information you might have shared with someone, one way or another.

Real sensitive infos are your PIN, ATM debit PAN (especially the 6 middle numbers), Security no, internet banking token (from hardware or software). Those are really the sensitive details, never share them with anyone you don't trust
