This is the oldest trick in elite governance: manufacture a narrative so people fight each other instead of the system. Divide-and-rule works because it's cheaper than actual reform. The real question is why ordinary Nigerians keep falling for narratives that don't serve them."
@Emboldened

The ordinary Nigerians are a severely miseducated group (from the religions to education ...we are generally systematically bred to fail) .What does the "average Nigerian" know about "Class Consciousness"?Even i was thesame until i put myself through years and years and years of painful deprogramming processes

I agree that most Nigerians are brainless.

Else how do you explain most people agreeing with what Skank is saying?

Have you seen an Indian man say the average Indian is not a good person?

Or have you heard a South African say that about his countrymen?

Have u even heard any other country citizen say that?

Nigerians are the biggest de marketers to Nigeria.

If you are not a good person, please don't project your bad energy to others.
The "average Nigerian" is generally unaware about the class struggle in the country.
The ruling economic & political elite are the major problem of the country but they blame ordinary/"average" Nigerians using apparatuses like the media (formerly the legacy & now the internet via the social media mostly using internet personalities) to convey their skewed message.
Unfortunately, the "average Nigerian" has begun to believe this slanted messaging.

@OP i dislike ALL Nigerian politicians and political parties equally but beginning your post with the highlighted section of the screenshot below is completely wrong and incredibly unprofessional.
Next time,post the news story and log off rather than posting your personal opinion on the story.
Stop trying to lead the reader to follow your line of thought rather than allowing them to form their own views about the news story on their own accord.

I have been in white supremacist circles for a decade plus and i have seen thesame words you used being used by them to justify issues from the enslavement & colonization of Africans to blacks in America getting shot dead by the police and terroist attacks in kenya.You lot should keep trying to sound "intelligent" because you are "different from the rest" without being aware of the context of your rhetoric.Repeating white supremacist mantra does not make you a tough guy.It only displays the weakling you truly are

It is a primitive/backward/barbaric mindset because our leaders ( both political & otherwise) are primitive/backward/barbaric minded.
Hence, they can only give what they have:Religious bigotry,ethnic hatred, no vision,no creativity,no new ideas...nothing

The World Cup is only revealing that some of these players we think are world class because of what we saw in Afcon are not! Apart from Amad and may be diomande Ivory Coast no really get players like that

Senegal too has been exposed. Mane should retire he has tried. I gave Senegal a benefit of a doubt after the first game but after that looks like they are just a bit above average. Congo na just power no brain! Don’t even mention Tunisia. Only Cape Verde has shown some guts by not loosing any game in the first round. Morocco just continuing from where they already are, no fake life. The others as usual making the numbers. This is the true state of African football.
My brother,this your post is very unfair and harsh to the African teams in this tournament.
Personally,excluding Tunisia,every African team has performed FANTASTICALLY WELL even the teams that got eliminated,were competitive.They were never steamrolled by their opponents.
I understand your frustrations but out of 200 plus football playing countries at Fifa,nine from Africa are the top playing 32 nations on earth...ON EARTH.
Abeg,lets be humble enough to give credit to those who deserve it

Nigeria vs Argentina 2018(Messi)🤣i had to smuggle Nigeria in because it has also once smelled around us🤣🤣

At the 2018 world cup,the narrative was African teams could not defend setpieces.
This year's edition,African teams let in goals at the dying minutes.I cannot wait for the 2030 narrative.
My own be sai,African teams lost their matches because they lost their matches just like every other teams but Africans (particularly Nigerians) to dey hyper-focused on anything African so they dey always read into things wey no exist.This is another form of narcissism.
What happened in the Dr Congo vs England match is similar to what occurred in the Japan vs Brazil match but you don't see anyone hyper-pontificating on the latter do you?

The NFF need to start recruiting foreign players now. That's the only way we can compete with quality teams. Morrocco has gone far, and they will keep attracting foreign players. More are coming even after the world cup. We need to start now.
@Emboldened
In my humble opinion,Nigeria suffers more from a lack of organization issue than a talent pool problem

He doesn't even need to say it out loud, those data centres are doing all the talking. I watched a video clip a while ago about how these data centres have forced people living within their vicinity away from their homes. The few that stayed behind said the data centres sometimes deprive them of power and water for up to 20 hours in a day. When the centers turn on their machines, the deafening sound can cause migraine. Then there's the heat being dissipated by those stations, people are literally roasting in their homes.

This is what he actually said:
"If we starve our data infrastructure of cooling resources just to sustain baseline human comfort, we are actively delaying the birth of a super-intelligence that could solve all of our resource problems in the first place,".

What are the "baseline human comforts" we need to stop sustaining Jeff? Bathing? Cooking and doing dishes? Washing our hands? Kindly explain which of these baseline human comforts we need to do away with so your AI stations can work to their fullest capacity. Are these billionaires human beings at all?

These are AI data centres btw. Imagine the amount of power required to power all this equipment and water to cool it down. People living around there are being put through a lot of health risks
