To find a business would be hard, even if you find you have to nurture it until it starts paying your bills. Why not get a car and do executive taxi like bolt or taxify if you are in their state of operation

The original battery normally comes in 6v 4.5ah....with the increase in the new battery which is 12v, how do one manage this? Won't that have an effect on the fan?

this is very tricky one.

Many roads lead to the market

Please don't ask me the best road.
I will tell you why in a moment.

6v x 4.5a = 27 watts approx 28watts.

Follow any road that will give you 28watts.

Example.
Lithium battery is 3.7v nominal voltage.
3.7+3.7= 7.4 v
7.4 v in parallel will be 7.4v 4a
Multiply them will give around 30watts.

The problem is that fan is 6v.
My issue with this is the charging.
If there's a way to charge the 7.4v
I will consider it. So it's cancelled for now.

Example 2

Build a 12v lithium battery.
Which will be 3.7+3.7+3.7v = 11.1v.
Make it 2p
That would be 11.1v 4a
11.1×4=44.4watts.

Get a step down converter that has voltage and current button. Two blue button.
Step down from 11.1v to 6v.

That's better now because you will charge the battery with normal 12v charger.

thanks for ur swift response. am planning on upscaling the 4a higher for longer usage which is the main aim of switching to lithium. Talking on 12v charger, won't the normal fan charging system be able to charge the battery?

I love solar. And been following by the side since 10 years. Finally got to practice since 2019.

Greetings. Pls I intend changing my rechargeable fan battery to a lithium battery. Normally the fan battery is 6v 4.5ah and from our popular lithium battery which is 3.7v x2 wld give us 7.4v Which is higher than the 6v for the fan. A fellow advised I go for lifepo4 since its 3.2, but it's hard to get. Pls can you help me out on all I need to achieve this. Or if I it like that will it spoil the fan ?

Better still, you can use a boost converter to boost a 4.2v li-ion battery voltage to around 7v

You will need between 2 & 3 in parallel to match the old battery's capacity, You can go with more cells to have longer runtime. Saw some batteries for sale on Jiji

thanks for ur assistance...but u didn't answer the number 1. If I chose to go for the 18650 cells will it spoil the fan? And the combination should be to connect 2 series to achieve 6 to 7v and any amount of batteries in parallel to achieve more AH

went online to check for the lifepo4 battery and understands its on 3.2v. My questions are (1) will the 18650 cell 6.0v to 8.4v cause any defect on the fan? (2) how much are the lifepo4 cell sold for? (3) the battery cell states 6000mah, so can we say just a cell can matchup the fan original battery

you saying the battery I posted is different from lifepo4? if yes can I see a sample of what you mean. From my layman's calculation the battery of 3.7x2 in series. Is it too high? And I wonder if just two of that battery cell of 2700mah matchup the fan original battery 4.5Ah. Thanks for your response so far.

Can I convert rechargeable fan battery to a lithium ion battery. If its workable what are the requirements since 1000mah give 1Ah. Normally the fan battery is 6v 4.5ah as seen on the boscon battery description, but am looking at upscaling the AH. Professionals imput would be appreciated.
