IMO, Chelsea needs more (better) defenders (GK included) than attackers. Thiago Silva is not enough, cos of his age. There's still an uncertainty to how many EPL matches he can handle before the intensity and physicality gets to him- if it gets to him.

Lampard finished 4th last season cos of his defence, not because of his attack. Chelsea conceded the highest number of goals out of the top 10 teams. Should be prioritizing his defence options this season.

as bad as city defence is,,they still did better than Chelsea because attack always is d best form of defence
