The blues are a bit too much and oversaturated. I was guilty of this when I first started, now I'm adjusting. See if you can tone down a little.

Also is the note 7 actually better than the note 8 in terms of Camera specifications and Picture-quality?
Most of my shots are taken with gcam installed on my rn7. Some are not edited while some are edited with snapseed, lightroom or Airbrush, sometimes i use all three, two or one of them depending on what I'm hoping to achieve. Ive always indicated which is edited and which is not. That been said i can only speak for my device cos I've never used rn8. I'm very my ok with my device. Pix edited with Airbrush.

Genius43 is right. I've spent a considerable amount of time to tweak my settings after testing more than twenty different versions of gcam and settled on the one I'm currently using. I also have a background in photography hence I always know how and when to shoot, also have it at the back of your mind that almost everyone will only show and post their best shots. The number of shots that has ended in the trash bin before a good shot is posted will leave you surprised. That's the reality.

Different methods depending on the type. The method of XMP is different from DNG
I've done the dng part it's the xmp method I'm having issues with. Any pointers?
