Tiwa Savage has narrated some interesting events of her life which left her embarrassed and with a great feeling of awkwardness in her days on the scene. She was really particular about an event that involved Banky-W, as she said the zip of her dress got ripped off from behind and Banky was right there to grace his eyes with her bare skin.

Thank Goodness she wore some scarcely covering undies which made the occasion a blast for Banky-W. It’s a good thing there was no Adesua Etomi then to pick slight offense and get a little jealous. And I hope she doesn’t put Tiwa in her bad book for baring such thing at a time like this when she’s about to walk down the aisle with the young Prince.

“My dress for my stage performance at 2face’s album launch arrived very late. Literally, it came in 5 minutes before I was supposed to mount the stage. I didn’t have time to try it on before my performance. The MC had announced that I was next on stage. So I quickly put it on. As I walked upstage, the zip ripped at the back and I didn’t even realize.”

Omotunde Adebowale, also known as  Lolo1, has compared songs by new generation artistes with that of Nigerian music legends like Fela Kuti, Sunny Ade, and others.

In her opinion, 97% of songs released in recent times are meaningless. She made this known while speaking to Hip TV recently. She added that most of the songs do not pass a message and are not children-friendly. In her very own words;

“If you are looking at the content of music, what will you say you are buying? Ninety-seven percent of it has no meaning. You hear songs like BAGALADAN SKURUBABABA,” and “WO,” they do not have any meaning at all. ’It is not like the ones of the yesteryears where you listen and obey. Even though we have few people doing conscious music, Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, and others did a lot of impactful music. But in this generation, I am not sure about that.”

It’s no news that these modern-day singers make more than a fortune from these so-called “meaningless” songs, as tagged by Lola1. But Lola1 thinks it’s more about the message than the revenue. If these songs are truly meaningless, why are folks spending their hard earned money on them? Or, do you stand with the OAP on this one?

When was the last time you changed your toothbrush? Or paid a visit to the dentist? Bad breath is as bad as it sounds. It makes you self-conscious when talking in public- that's for those who are aware they have it. But what about those who do not know they have it?

If you or anyone you know is troubled by bad breath, read on to find simple ways to do away with it completely.
Let’s look at some of the causes;

a)    Foods you eat: onions, garlic, coffee. 
b)    Gum disease
c)    Improper oral hygiene

What can be done?

1.    Detoxify: If your gut ( the digestive tract especially the intestine or stomach) isn’t healthy or clean no matter how well you brush, your mouth would still smell. Cleanse your system with fruits or food supplements meant for detoxification, to get rid of the toxins responsible for the odor.

2.    Proper Oral Hygiene: Maintain a good oral hygiene by brushing at least twice daily. Clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner, there are lots of bacteria living on the tongue. If you can't get a good tongue scraper- made of stainless steel, brush your tongue properly.

Get a mouthwash too, for days when you are too tired to brush at night.

3.    Keep your gums healthy. Eat fruits rich in vitamin C and foods high in calcium. Moisten your mouth by drinking plenty of water. Visit the dentist at least twice a year and don't forget to change your toothbrush regularly.

Poor grades masssacre

The DMW boss Davido was recently let loose from the Tagbo death controversy chain after his lawyer succeeded in convincing Nigerians that he had no hand in Tagbo’s death. But four of his crew members weren’t that fortunate.

OBO has been having a swell time lately. It’s such a good feeling to have his reputation back after nearly losing it over a death case he’s been proven to know nothing about. The singer took to his social media account to jubilate and inform fans that he’s back to music to continue from where he stopped. For those who accused him, he’s forgiven them.

But two of his crew members who were earlier detained are still in custody with no word of them. No one knows if they will ever be allowed to walk free again. As a matter of fact, another two crew members have been arrested including Davido’s driver who is said to have driven the late Tagbo to the general hospital in the company of the other guys.

A case like this cannot slip pass without someone taking the fall. As it stands, those four guys have been chosen to take the blame for Tagbo’s death and suffer the consequences. The future could meet them Kiri-Kiri. Too bad for them.
