Yea u can do a change of course n institution after the utme result come out tru jamb card the card was for 2500 this year.

REASONS WHY NIGERIAN STUDENTS FAIL TO GET
ADMITTED:
There Are Basically, three observable reasons why
70% of Nigerian Students fail to gain admission each
year into a Nigerian University of Polytechnics, and
they are highlighted below:
•. The National Universities Commission(NUC): who
gave a very little admission slots to each University,
as a result of the poor standard of their facilities and
Equipments.
•. The Federal Government of Nigeria(FGN): who
have failed to Intensify efforts, in providing more
facilities so as to increase the admission slots given
to each Universities by the NUC.
•. The Nigerian Students: who have
failed to make the right selection of Institutions and
course of study according to their abilities and most
ESPECIALLY, ACCORDING TO THEIR STATES OF
ORIGIN.
Do you know that 55% of all admission offered in
these Nigerian Universities are based on the
applicants state of Origin, In every given year, with
only 45% available on merit?
Do you know that a total of six hundred and twenty
three thousand and sixty nine(623,069) applicants
out of the 1.5million who applied for the 2012 JAMB
UTME are currently seeking admission from only 11
Universities, with a total carrying capacity, not
exceeding 70,000 persons.
This means that over 554,000 persons would not be
admitted, and would also purchase the next JAMB
UTME form, increasing the number of applicants?
It is obvious that even if Everyone cross the 300
mark, some other procedures would be introduced to
screen students out simply because, THE NIGERIAN
INSTITUTIONS CAN ONLY ADMIT ABOUT 30% OF
THESE APPLICANTS.
I hope you can avoid making the same mistakes,
made by other admission seeking applicants, Its not
the University or Polytechnics fault that they were
not admitted, Its simply because these applicants,
WERE NOT ENLIGHTED, on these processes of
admission.

Am only suggesting, no doubt Uniport is 1 of d best uni in d country (6th in ranking 2012). Aluu shudn't discourage any of u. U kw y ur goin dere, jst focus on ur studies and avoid bad companies, who wil start burning u? Uniport is d 2nd uni wit d highest no of candidates afta unilag, said jamb. Sorry uniport is not second with the highest no of candidate after lag ur source of information is shallow n come to think of it if the r second then do u know how many ppl with not be given admission cos all uni works with NUC slot thereby second choice will not be given much consideration. N for ur info there r other schools better than uniport that gives equal chances to both first n second choice candidates

For me I don't think there r book I can recommend more than to tell u to check the syllabus to see the recommended ones. Also try to use book which contain topics in syllabus n make use of pass question I think that will help

Don't jump to conclusion n start calling ppl name. The fact is that some ppl r lucky y some r not I v seen ppl that 3k was removed from there e wallet for lat reg n someone I did for yesterday nothing was removed apart from the normal charges

OAU is not a sch u shd put for second choice UI it ok if u wish.

OAU accept two sitting pls I will want to stop addressing issue of subject combination for utme cos I believe u v the JAMB brochure! Which is what I use here also n it better for u to check ursef cos I might be in hurry to check n will give u a wrong combination which will definitely affect ur admission process so pls check ursef first n if u r not so sure ask what u not sure about.

I as a person v never gotten ma card from a bank I prefer to get it at the jamb office or from agents or from the place of reg.

Fynestboi: bt i guess d syllabus had been modified, its nw diff 4rm last yr syllable, so for any1 dat ve gotten d form am sure dey wuld ve d syllabus wit them.

Every year comes with its own syllabus with little or no change.
