Ugwumba Uche Nwosu returns, meets with Senator Hope Uzodimma, congratulates him on victory

Today, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu meets with the executive Governor of Imo State, his Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma.

On arrival from Abuja, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, humility personified drove to see the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma.

Briefing the press men after the courtesy visit, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu informed that his solidarity visit to the Executive Governor of Imo State is in further affirmation that Peace has finally been restored to the State.

He assured that in his capacity as an Imolite and a chieftain of APC, he is supporting the new government of Imo State 100%.

Ugwumba Uche Nwosu called on all members of APC to join hands together in order to make the new Government move forward.

I will do my best and ensure that Imolites are not disappointed. We will give Imolites the best because APC means well for the people, he added.

The grassroot and humane leader,ugwumba uche nwosu thanked the people of Imo State for accepting APC back to the State, assuring that APC is poised to make the positive difference.

Hon Kingsley Uju Chima member representing the good people of Ohaji-Egbema, Oguta Oru West Federal Constituency, received the mammoth crowd who came to celebrate with him at his country home Umorji in Ohaji-Egbema Local government area of Imo State. The people could not hold their joy in expressing their gratitude to his kind gestures and the relative peace brought to the region since the eruption of the crisis in Ohaji-Egbema and the sister Local government Oguta which took over 200 lives.

Omeudo1of Niger delta like fondly called by his people thanked the over 2000 people that visited him and assured them that he will never leave them until he blessed them.

The Lawmaker told the people that he will unveil his 1000 empowerment program soonest. " I feel so happy anytime am with my people. I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your support during the electioneering, I have come home to celebrate Christmas and new year with you, my gate is open for everyone" Says Hon Kingsley Chima.

He gave 10bags of rice to each ward in Ohaji-Egbema, Oguta, and Oru West Federal Constituency with the Some of N500,000 each Local government to celebrate the New year.

Still on the season of celebration, the Authentic Governorship Candidate Of APC Ugwumba Uche Nwosu who also visited Hon Kingsley Uju Chima Used the opportunity to thank the people of the Oil region for their supports and the Votes they gave him during the last concluded 2019 Governorship Election in imo state. In appreciation, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu added 100 people to the 1000 persons placed for empowerment by the Lawmaker making it 1100 empowerment program.

The people assured him that they are ready to vote for him again if he chooses to run in 2023 Election. They prayed that God should direct and protect them in all that they do to achieve their endeavours.

The Guber Candidate of Action Alliance for Imo State, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has reacted to the new making round the Media that Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has upheld his disqualification, describing it as handiwork of those fighting to frustrate the mandate of Imolites.

Speaking to Newsman at Abuja, the former Chief of Staff, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu noted that the matter is a pre-election matter which has no bearing with the proceeding of post election matters.

He went further to state that on the issue of double nomination, the matter has been technically settled because there was a court injunction brought forth during the APC primaries that made APC to submit the name of Senator Hope Uzodimma as the Guber Candidate of APC instead of him and according to Electoral Law, No party is allowed to field more than one candidate for the same Elective position.

Though, the matter is in the court, my lawyers are arguing it out because no matter what, hiding behind technicality will not grant them victory, he added.

Ugwumba Uche Nwosu also used the opportunity to react on the withdrawal of Action Alliance from the suit noting that the what happened was that the Party who is the second petitioner to the suit due to some reasons decided to allow him, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu to focus on the pursuit of the matter with more attention.

It's unfortunate that the opposition twisted the matter and misrepresented the judgement of the Supreme Court. The supreme Court never ruled on my candidature as the Party flag bearer because it has already confirmed that alongside the Tribunal, he informed.

Continuing, Chief Nwosu went ahead to say this "on my Guber Election Petition, I have Appealed and the matter will soon be called up for hearing. Be rest assured that the matter will continue to logical conclusion".
