But this Oba Elegushi is too controversial. He made incendiary remarks during last presidential elections about non indigenes. I doubt if he's original Lagos protegy. I guess he's one those who came to appropriate the political heritage of Lagos in the name of Oduduwa.

This issue started long before this oba ascended throne.

There has been a lingering issue between the people of Itedo and Oba Elegushi. The Itedo people claim Oba Elegushi's kingdom does not extend to the Itedo community.

I remember around 2014 / 2015 Sanwolu was involved in mediating peace between both communities. That was the first time I had an encounter with Sanwolu. He was an easy going humble and fine gentleman.

I guess this issue is as a result of the breakdown of the peace agreement by both parties. The Itedo community believed the Bale of Itedo is their paramount ruler.

Now land for Itedo no be here so am not surprised these issues are coming up.
