I had a mere whatsapp conversation with a very desperate young man in my neighbourhood a couple of weeks back(Screenshoot below) I never expected that our little conversation would bring credits to me.His parents paid a courtesy visit to me this morning thanking me for making their son to be positive and contented. Anyway,I felt the glory is too much for me because it was just a mere advice I gave him. Quote of the day-Advice can easily equate #1 to $1 Have a pleasant day Nairalanders!!!

While I was in school in Federal University of Petroleum Resources,I met an 18 year old female beggar who begged me to give her money. On that faithful day, I was taking a walk with my Roomie-Monday, and immediately we got to our school gate, the pretty female beggar rushed to me begging for money but I was so ashamed of myself because I had no money on me. I came from a very humble background and had serious financial issues while in school. My friend quickly left us because people where looking at us and he was ashamed. She insisted that I must give her money but sincerely I loved to help her but I had nothing to offer.I summoned courage and disclosed to her that I have no food to eat and no money(which was true) and that I am still looking for money to pay my school fees. Suddenly I saw tears dropping from her eyes and she unzipped her bag and gave me #1,460...Due to pride and the people around the scene, I rejected her offer. But to my greatest surprise, she insisted and forced the money into my pocket.I felt so ashamed but I had no choice..,,I thanked her while my friend and people around were busy laughing at me.My friend said for a beggar to give me money means I need deliverance. I immediately rushed to the market and bought meat.I returned to my hostel and cooked...,I was shocked when I saw my friend eating from the food that the beggar gave me money to prepare. After graduation and NYSC,luckily got a job and since then, her memories always echo on my mind.As a result of that,I went to my school gate to look for her but there was no trace of her.I went back again yesterday, but unsuccessful.. I just can't let her go because I have this strong feeling that I will see her beautiful face someday...

Pls Nairalanders help!! I met this beautiful damsel while serving(NYSC) in Imo State in 2013. She accepted to date me on one condition (NO SEX before marriage). I gladly accepted. Our love was a major gist in town because she is a beauty queen. I so much loved her with all my heart..She was a virgin and I so much respected her for that...I spent 75% of my allowee on her in addition with my personal savings... On several ocassions, she lost control of herself during romance but as a gentleman, I kept my promise by not harvesting the forbidden fruit.. Her love for me grew stronger because of my self control. After NYSC, I relocated to Lagos in search of greener pasture. Things got tougher because jobs were extremely scarce. Still,I struggled to send her some money through her father's first bank account (she was 18yrs then). Once in a month, I travelled from Lagos to Owerri just to see her....Our love was so strong..But since inception of this year, things got pretty bad that I could not meet up with my routine travels to see her. After 3yrs, I got a job few days ago in an oil company and I was so enthusiastic to relay the good news to her....But to my greatest shock ever...She sent me an apology sms that she will be getting married next week...I was preparing for sunday service but the news automatically made me fell asleep. I just woke up and feeling abnormal...She is calling but I can't imagine myself taking the calls...Pls I need your pool of unalloyed advice... Pls save a soul today and God will bless you..Thanks |
At least, this will encourage the presidency to put in their best in actualizing the set goals of our country Nigeria.. |
That guy so much believe in President Buhari...Lets hope it is worth it... |
So we still have patriotic citizens like this young man in this country.....(Must Read) I saw this write-up in the NTA news: I’ll voluntarily serve in prison if President Buhari fails Nigeria…Marcus Matthew attests I solemnly attest this day that I should be sentenced to one-year imprisonment if President Muhammadu Buhari fails Nigeria. I graduated as one of the best students in the department of Mechanical-Welding/Fabrication Engineering, Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State in 2011. My late father served diligently in the Nigerian Army and always told me about the high level of integrity of his mentor (President Muhammadu Buhari) and I have nurtured this love for our present president since I was a child. The first thing a visitor sees in our residential home is a framed historic photograph of our president. That photograph has being in our apartment from time immemorial. From time immemorial in the sense that, I can’t recall when the photograph was mounted in our house. Strangers see President Buhari as my father whenever they step into our house. I have taken time to study President Buhari and see him as my “grand mentor”. I do believe in an old Irish proverb that says that “Trust No Man” but the trust I have for President Buhari is exceptional. I trust him more than any other person you can ever imagine. Though I am from the South-South but I hate being biased when it comes to matters of National Importance. I urge Nigerians not to despair rather to be optimistic because I fervently believe in the “kruptos” man inside President Muhammadu Buhari. Though many may see me as being stupid but the truth is, I am really expressing my level of confidence in our world changing president. God bless President Muhammadu Buhari! God bless Nigerians!! God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!
