Technology Market / What Items Will You Buy Online In Nigeria ? by made1(m): 8:54pm On Jan 03, 2012
Hey guys , Happy New Year to you all.

I was wondering what Items Nigerians will buy mostly online if a reliable and secure online service is established for the country? Some business  partners are planning to venture into this area of service for the under-served market in Nigeria.

If the Company provides, an easy, fun, trusted and reliable services with a very secure payment terminal  . I was wondering what items would Nigerians favor buying online most.

Example : Computers, Electronics , Mobile Phones, Books, Clothes & accessories, arts and handcrafts , Automobiles & parts,   etc .

What will you buy online ?

Thanks,

icme:

You saw over 15 detailed pictures of the car from exterior to engine &almost every square inch of the car was snapped, also I'm the direct seller of the car and I believe you have not seen anyone else selling this exact same car,you have never spoken with or called me or even emailed me,yet you come online to my advert and say "it looks like scam" a car that is for sale here in lagos
Wonders shall always keep coming

Dude i made a statement. It looks like scam. See you are the only one posting replies on it. If people are interested, they'll come to u, but ur ridiculous multiple postings just makes the whole deal look like a joke. Re-post ur ad with fewer pics and also display ur asking price, No need for multiple postings otherwise people go think say ur not genuine , Just saying. Goodluck

Politics / Which Of these Actions Realistically Might Solve Most Of Nigeria's Problems ? by made1(m): 10:48pm On Dec 27, 2011
1) True Federation with self-governing states loyal to the FGN

2) Split Nigeria in 2 or 3 independent territories

3) Reduce the Number of Political Parties and Reduce Political office Nomination fee

4) Eliminate the Federally controlled Police system to Community Policing  with states co-operation ( based on our geographic locations)

5) Reduce elected officers benefits and salaries and reduce immunity for elected officers ( POLITICIANS ABOVE THE LAW )

6) Establish INDEPENDENT Regulatory Organisations to oversee and regulate business deals with government ( check and balance)

7) Re-write the constitution ( Sovereign National Conference)

What do you guys think about these,  Respond with your Number(s) of choice if you agree with any one of the methods.   Nigerians in general i think are unique in our different ways, so we need to figure all these problems out before the next elections for a way forward. We should start planning what we want out of Nigeria in 2015.  Lets hear what you guys say !!!

So if we really want to actualize this , what should we do ?. Build a web page ?, Create a forum page ?, what do you guys think we would need to do to get this going . Google is trying to get Nigerian businesses online,  gnbo.com.ng .These businesses will need professionals to develop and maintain their online identity. I think we should get this going so we can unlock the potentials of IT in our nation.

Business / Re: N100,000,000 Available And Asian Technology by made1(m): 9:49pm On Oct 16, 2011
Wow with that amount of money you mentioned, you can have a legitimate investment in Nigeria . Think of what Nigerians love, what they crave, what we lack. Then think of what you like, and what you lack , You can compare both . The idea of manufacturing in Asia is good. But really who is fooling who ? You can contact me for a free consultation. I can guide you to series of opportunities in Nigeria presently, with little competition .

Good luck

hey Sirlekoso , thanks for your interest. I have ran a little search but i couldnt find any site or forum for that . Im sure we can set one up well . But the response is low . Do you think its that important to other guys or there isnt a lot of programmers at home ? This could open a lot of opportunities if we can structure it very well.
Programming / Programmers Networking Community by made1(m): 1:41am On Oct 15, 2011
Hey guys , calling on all programmers , coders, network pros and other IT professionals . I was wondering if there was any platform or website that Nigerian programmers or IT pros to come together and share , develop, critique, utilize , learn, and distribute various ideas, inventions, experiences, regulations, obstacles, opportunities etc,

I would like to know if there is one available please . And if none exist, we can create one. Thank God for open source. We can all collectively do this and make it a standard .
This will be beneficial to community members in terms or sharing knowledge, gaining experience, avoiding mistakes, creating employment , pioneering inventions, Increasing sense of pride for ourselves : ( made in Nigeria, by Nigerians, for Nigerians that all may follow our lead )

Thank Seun for nairaland, Now we have to take it to another level . This could lead to many great opportunities for diligent and saavy IT pros. What do you guys think ?
