I repeat Tinubu Presidential ambition is Dead on Arrival and buried before the election.
That Muslim Muslim ticket has automatically cancelled Tinubu from Winning any state in south South and South East.
Tinubu has to win the North in order for him to be President since he is cancelled in the south South and South East which are no go area for him
.
If he loses the North which is inevitable, he has also lost the presidential election.
Take it or leave it, Atiku will win the North convincingly , leaving Tinubu with only south west votes with South South and South East shared by Atiku and Peter Obi (PDP and Labor)
PoliticsRe: NNPP Chairman, Rufai Akali Says They Will Not Collapse Their Structure For APC by MadeInTokyo:
Reality is dawning on Tinubu and his Strategists that Tinubu can not win the North.
Atiku will pull the highest number of votes in the entire North, now Tinubu is running Helter skelter seeking alliance with Kwankwaso and Shekarau in the North in order to neaturalize Atiku's votes in the North.
If Tinubu lose the North which will inevitably happen , it is bye bye and game over to Tinubu Presidential ambition, as only south west block votes will not be enough for him to overcome Atiku's vote tally in the North, as the stubbornly unrepentant pro PDP south South and South East zones are a no go area for Tinubu and APC right from time and now based on the Muslim Muslim ticket

Hate it or Love it, The Muslim Muslim ticket was a political suicide and political own goal scored by Tinubu, thinking the Northerners will rally behind him. Tinubu and his Strategists mistook the political and religious dynamics in Nigeria today with that of 1992 when MKO Abiola ran on Muslim Muslim ticket

Tinubu cancelled for Christian votes
When Atiku, Kwankwaso and Tinubu share Muslim votes in the North, which Atiku will get more votes in the North, where will Tinubu get Votes to counter Atiku votes coming from the North since at least over 20 million Christian Votes( both North and South) has already automatically been lost by Tinubu (Muslim Muslim ticket) , those Christian votes which will be shared between Peter Obi and Atiku (Ifeanyi Okowa)
If Tinubu and his strategists are banking on rigging the election in 2023 since it now clear that Tinubu with his split Muslim votes in the North and Muslim votes in the south west can't win the Presidency without at least an additional 40% of Nigerian Christian Votes...their rigging plan is dead on arrival

PoliticsAtiku, Kwankwaso, Obi Scramble For Christian Votes. by MadeInTokyo(op):

“We were not the ones that started this fight. The APC started it and must be ready to carry the cross it has created. Blaming Christians and heaping insults on CAN will take them nowhere.
Opposition parties are lining up to reap from the misfortunes of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as top northern Christian leaders of the party have asked their constituents not to vote for the presidential candidate of their party, Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 general elections over his choice of a Muslim running mate.
Presidential candidate of main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; his counterpart in the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, and in the Nigerian National Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, are all positioning themselves as better options to protect the interest of northern Christians and win their votes in the upcoming election as they all have both faiths represented on their presidential tickets.

LEADERHIP Weekend reports that NNPP’s Kwankwaso has Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State as his running mate; LP’s Peter Obi has Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, a Muslim from Kaduna State, as his running mate while PDP’s Atiku Abubakar has Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as his vice-presidential candidate. Conversely, APC’s Tinubu, a Southern Muslim, has Senator Kashim Shettima, another Muslim from the northeast, as his running mate, a decision that has not gone down well with many in the party, and outside.

Consequently, APC northern Christian leaders yesterday called on Nigerians not to vote for any tickets that are not mixed between Christians and Muslims, a direct attack on the candidacy of Tinubu and Shettima.

According to the APC northern Christian leaders, a Muslim-Muslim tickets is divisive and must be rejected by all patriotic Nigerians.

Speaking at the APC Northern Christian Leaders Summit yesterday in Abuja, with the former secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal; former Speaker Yakubu Dogara; former minister of sports, Solomon Dalung, Sen Ishaku Abbo and several other Christian leaders from the North, they declared that the insinuation that northern Muslims will not support a Christian running mate was untrue and divisive.

Former SGF, Babachir Lawal, who was the chairman of the occasion, said colleagues within and even outside the APC expressed shock and even disbelief over their reaction to the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket in the 2023 general elections, adding that it is a grand conspiracy against the Northern Christians.

“Our opposition has some historical basis,” Lawal said. “There were times in the past when Christians produced the deputy governors in Kebbi, Niger and Kaduna states. Now they are wholly Muslim-Muslim tickets.

“It is worth noting that all these are happening in APC-controlled states. They are threatening to do likewise in Gombe, Kogi and Adamawa states.

“It is also now a recurring practice in the north whereby any Christian traditional ruler that dies is replaced with a Muslim prince albeit from the ruling family even if the most qualified and preferred prince is a Christian. The recent case of Billiri Chiefdom in Gombe State is still fresh in our minds.

“Proof of its anti-Christian agenda is that our party itself has completely eliminated northern Christians from its National Working Committee (NWC) and National Executive Committee (NEC). All our protestations as party members have been completely ignored by the party leadership. But as members of the APC, we have the right to continue to express our indignation at these happenings and will not give up until we secure the justice that is due us.

“The main purpose of this historical narrative is to let you know that for the APC, a Muslim-Muslim ticket has been a long-term political strategy and not a one-off decision. Thus, all this talk of competence as the reason for the choice of the Muslim VP is balderdash and diversionary. This is a calculated anti-Christian exclusion agenda that is being implemented.”

Lawal wondered why the party authorities had not reacted to the wide-spread rejection of its Muslim-Muslim ticket, or reach out to Christians for a dialogue instead of hiring fake bishops and fake church groups to further embarrass the Church.

He went on: “Why are they embarking on a vicious media war against Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the church instead of seeking reconciliation? Truly, things are not adding up.

He further listed other reasons why Christians, Northern Nigerian Christians, in particular against the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

“Christians all over the country see this Muslim-Muslim ticket as a deliberate and premeditated attempt to introduce and firmly entrenched religion into the politics of this country. This, of course, will lead to further disharmony in the hitherto fragile coexistence of the Nigerian society, disrupt peace and hamper both social and economic development of the country.

“Christians, and indeed most enlightened Nigerians are at a loss as to why people that intend to govern a country with our kind of diversity would choose this path to power. This is very divisive and must be rejected by all patriotic Nigerians.

“Implied in this ticket is the insinuation that northern Muslims are not willing to vote for a ticket that has a Christian on it and on which they are not represented. It is our belief that northern Muslims would have seen the justice in a Muslim-Christian ticket and would have given it their overwhelming support had the party been inclined to do so,” he said.

According to him, what this means is that Christians should also not vote for a ticket in which they are not accommodated.

“This is truly a wakeup call for all Nigerian Christians. We didn’t start this religious politics, APC and its candidates did; so, all of us should take note and act as appropriate, “ Lawal added.

Lawal explained that the Northern Christians neither seek to oppress nor dominate any one or any religion, but they will resist any one trying to discriminate against them and their religion.

“We were not the ones that started this fight. The APC started it and must be ready to carry the cross it has created. Blaming Christians and heaping insults on CAN will take them nowhere.

“Clearly, there is an agenda to politically, religiously, and economically suppress and oppress the Northern Christian. But we are up to the task. We will protect ourselves. The PVC and our prayers will be our weapons of choice and we will massively deploy them in 2023,” he further stated, adding, however, that they are ready for dialogue.

On his part, the former speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, said with the Muslim-Muslim ticket in their party, APC, Nigeria is going the way of Nazi Germany.

Dogara, who said the APC wants to disintegrate Nigeria like USSR and Yugoslavia, added that the party looked like a “supporter of APC” party.

Dogara stated that Nigeria of 2022 is not the Nigeria of 1993, adding that the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has made a fatal error of judgement.

Dogara, who supported other Christian leaders’ stance on the Muslim-Muslim ticket, called on Christians to seek alternative platforms in the 2023 elections.

“Truth must be told that anyone who is not bringing us together is consciously tearing us apart,” Dogara said.

The senator from Adamama State, Ishaku Abbo, said no northerner will fight his brother because he is a Muslim, adding that the Christians are fighting injustice.

He called on Nigerians to reject every divisive tendency of individuals to divide the people.

The Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the Labour Party (LP) yesterday said the decision of the APC Northern Christian leaders calling for Nigerians to vote for political parties fielding mixed religious tickets for the 2023 presidential election is in their favour.

According to the two political parties that spoke separately with LEADERSHIP Weekend, they were strategic in their decision to field a mixed ticket.

Speaking to our correspondent last night, NNPP national publicity secretary, Major Agbo: “A lot of factors are working for us. One, Kwankwaso is one northern politician with a difference. He is very close to the ordinary people. Two, our ticket is a very balanced ticket. We have a core Muslim and a core Christian.

“This is not like what you see in other parties, like the APC that has the Muslim-Muslim ticket. You and I know that in the North, Kwankwanso is very close to the ordinary people and the mood of Nigerians now is to elect somebody who is close to them, somebody who understands their pains, “ Agbo said.

According to him, NNPP is the party to beat as Kwankwanso’s popularity is not just in the North, but across the entire nation.

“In a secular state like Nigeria, anyone who tells you that religion does not matter is deceiving himself. Anyone who tells you that religion does not determine who wins election doesn’t know what he is talking about.

“Even in America where democracy is more than 200 years old, presidents are determined by the Churches and people from different faiths.

“It is insensitive for anyone to think about bringing the same faith as a presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate. It negates the principles of fairness, justice and equity as far as religion is concerned,” Agbo added.

Also speaking to LEADERSHIP Weekend, the national chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Barr Julius Abure said everything is working out for their good as a political party that is sensitive to the diversity of the country.

“That’s good for us because we have a Christian-Muslim ticket,” Abure said of the declaration of the Northern APC Christian leaders urging Nigerians to vote for political party with mixed religious tickets.

“If they are saying Nigerians should vote for a mixed ticket then they are referring to us. That is good for us. It is good news. Perhaps, they don’t want to say directly that Nigerians should vote for the Labour Party, “ Abure said.

Abure also said the Labour Party followership will translate into votes.

“Nigerians are tired of APC and PDP. The people want an alternative.

“The Labour Party is the alternative, our candidate is the alternative. And that is why we have large following across the country. So, this will translate into votes. I am very confident. We will win the 2023 general elections.

“Let some people not be deceived that we don’t have structure. Human beings are the structure, “ Abure added.

Speaking to our correspondent in Jos, the Plateau State publicity secretary of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. John Akans said Atiku has demonstrated that he is conscious of the peculiarities of Nigeria by picking a Christian from the South as his running mate since he is Muslim from the North.

According to him, Atiku and Okowa, if elected, will still do the same in terms of distribution of resources, wealth and appointments.

He added that the PDP political structure is not like that of the APC which does not take into cognisance the diversities of Nigeria.

“Atiku will ensure balance in terms of distribution of wealth, and political positions or appointments,” he said.

PoliticsWike move on with your loss like other Presidential candidates --Sule Lamido. by MadeInTokyo(op):
*Says it’s uncultured to call Atiku a liar Insists Muslim-Muslim ticket not good for Nigeria

*Dogara, Babachir Lawal meet Wike in Port Harcourt

A former Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Sule Lamido, has advised the Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom to emulate Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Dr Ahmad Lawan; and his predecessors in the state, Dr. Peter Odili, and Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, who showed maturity when they lost the presidential tickets of their parties.Lamido further said that it is uncultured for a younger person like Wike to say that an elderly person like the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is lying.

The former Jigawa State governor urged the Rivers State governor to show maturity in handling issues resulting from the PDP’s presidential primary.Speaking on the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC, Lamido said it would cause a great religious crisis in Nigeria. He blamed the North for using fake religious propaganda to blackmail former President Goodluck Jonathan out of office. This is coming as a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Babachir Lawal and the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, yesterday met with Wike, barely 12 hours after they attacked the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu over the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with THISDAY, Lamido urged Wike to know that the presidential primary is over.According to him, the process was the decision of the PDP and should not be seen as personal, stressing that the party is always supreme at all times.“A day to the PDP’s presidential convention, which Peter Odili of Rivers State was bound to win and was also bound to win the presidential election, he was stopped by the party which went on to nominate President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who did not even show interest.

“He was promised a vice presidential ticket and yet he was not given. He took everything as the mature man he is.“Look at the APC, Vice President Osinbajo was humiliated; the Senate president was also humiliated and even his countryman, Amaechi was given the same treatment; they took it as mature men and did not go about complaining as Wike is doing. This is called maturity.

“Do you know why? This is because the party is supreme. You cannot be bigger than your party. Party is organic. The convention has come and gone. Osinbajo, Lawan and Amaechi have shown maturity because their party has spoken. If Wike is in the APC will he be talking and behaving as he is doing now?

“When I say that the party is supreme, I mean that the PDP is an organic party. Many people defected to the APC in 2015, but the PDP remained strong because it is organic with root structures; it is not a one-man party. Wike should show maturity as the matter is no longer between him and Atiku. Atiku is now the PDP candidate; whatever he is doing now is not a fight against Atiku but the party. The party made him.”He explained further: “Let him learn from his former boss, Peter Odili. He will tell him a story that is so touching because I have never seen a person who was cheated on and who was so denied as Peter Odili.

“The man is so humble, so tolerant. I mean he is everything good. Wike offered himself to be elected. I came from the old order that respects political party culture. His candidate for the governorship in Rivers State was imposed by him. Others wanted to be governor; have they reconciled? The guy he imposed won the governorship ticket at the congress. Who offended Wike? Did the convention offend Wike? How? There is no reconciliation. He is a party man and after the convention, he said the process was very credible. He said so.”

On the claim by Wike that Atiku lied, Lamido said: “Even at that, it is against our culture to openly call an elder a liar. It is not part of our culture – or to call some people his attack dogs. If he has not been using attack dogs on some persons, how does he know that others are attack dogs? Wike should show maturity,” Lamido added.

He also spoke on the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket, saying, “What I do know is that the ticket is a device to create impact for both. If you think you are appealing to the Muslims in the North, you will get the votes. Conversely in the South, they are saying no to it. So, either way, it’s a problem because it is not about Nigeria; it’s about interest. It’s about aspiration.

“It is my time; it is my time. He said so. I must have it; it is mine; it is my time. It’s his aspiration; it is not Nigerians’ aspiration. It is personal and he can now begin to look at how he can get that personal aspiration by using Shettima. Shettima is an excellent person. I know him very well. But you see he is being used for a political purpose,” he explained.

“If it was in 2007, it could have been okay. But now, religion is being promoted as a key player in the politics of today. So the mallams are talking about religion; the Christians are talking about religion. Nobody is talking about Nigeria anymore. Whatever he may likely secure from the North, he will lose it from the South. I don’t see this working for him,” Lamido added.

The former Jigawa State governor explained that the PDP would win the 2023 general election.“I don’t see it in terms of Tinubu or the person of Atiku. I see it in terms of PDP and APC. PDP has a very strong history, founded by people with vision; people who believe in Nigeria, people who want the best for Nigeria and people who made sacrifices for Nigeria. Unlike APC – an amalgamation of various parties. So you see, to me, it’s not about the candidates, it’s about the parties called PDP and APC. APC has failed Nigerians. So I don’t see any threat Tinubu as a person can cause PDP or APC as a threat to the PDP.”

Reacting to the media reports that President Muhammadu Buhari was not aware that the terrorists threatened to kidnap him, Lamido said: “I am frightened that the man you elected as your president whom you bestowed all powers to secure you as a citizen, protect your unity, your prosperity and everything is not even aware of his security. It says a lot.

“I hope is not true. I pray it is not true. It is true, it means we have no country. There is no Nigeria then. No wonder they (bandits) are everywhere. No wonder they attacked his bodyguards. There is no presidency, there is no government in Nigeria by this revelation,” Lamido said.Speaking on Peter Obi’s chances, Lamido said: “It’s a nomenclature. There is a party. PDP is the party; Labour Party is a party. Even the APC is a party. So, what I am saying is this – travel to all parts of the country; go to Lagos; go to Oyo; go to Osun. There was the election in Osun State; what was the result for Labour Party?

“So that’s it. You need a structure first to carry you across. I don’t know how Labour Party can carry Obi across. I don’t think so. Remove Peter Obi, what do you have left in Labour Party? Nothing! In PDP remove any name, the party will remain because it is organic and it’s the people’s party. Obi would have remained in PDP. He is a good person and good material. He would have remained in the party that catapulted him to the national limelight. He was an APGA governor and nobody knew him in Nigeria

The former governor said that PDP and Jonathan were blackmailed out of office, explaining that the country is worse off for it than in 2015.“In all issues, I think no matter how bad our government was under Jonathan, we were better, far better compared to what we have under Buhari. I am a Fulani man with my brother in the villa as a Fulani man; I don’t feel better than I was under Jonathan. Then I left better, more secure; I felt more Nigerian; I felt comfortable than I am now under my fellow Fulani man in the presidency,” Lamido explained.

PoliticsRe: Isaac Fayosa React To Peter Obi Visit To Dunamis Church, say Religion Is A Weapon by MadeInTokyo:
I am still baffled still don't understand how a Smart Politician like Tinubu and his political strategists miscalculated, thinking he will win the presidency without Christian votes of over 18 million Christian voters in in this present day Nigeria, where this is a never before seen religious sentiments in the country due to the activities of religiously extremists groups like Boko Haram, ISWAP and Bandits .
Was Tinubu and his Strategists also thinking Tinubu would get all the Muslim votes in the North, where u have Atiku and Kwankwaso who are both Northern Muslims, this still baffles me.
Atiku will set more Muslim votes than Tinubu in the North, where does Tinubu now get votes outside of the North to counter Atiku votes coming from the North, since the Christian Votes will be shared mainly between Peter Obi and Atiku ( due to Ifeanyi Okowa who is Atiku's Christian Vice Presidential candidate)
Tinubu and his Strategists go it completely wrong and scored a calamitous political own goal, with their choice of a Muslim Muslim ticket, thinking Nigeria is still in 1992 , where Christians didn't raise any uproar over Abiola's choice of Kingibe as a Vice Presidential candidate .

Tinubu has lost this election, he can not be President without Christian votes, with also the split Muslim votes he and Atiku will share, Tinubu can't even rig the election without this Christian votes...Cold Hard Fact

APC in the mud.. Tinubu life long Presidential ambition is Dead on Arrival , and buried .
Over 18 million Christian votes automatically lost by Tinubu's greed and religious insensitivity of picking a Muslim Vice President candidate, it has backfired beyond him and his campaign strategists wildest imaginations.
Atiku and Peter Obi will share the Christian Votes, and Atiku will win nothing less than 50% of the Muslim votes down there in the North .... Tinubu zombies should come and explain to us again how Tinubu can win this election without Christian votes
