Buhari knows nothing than blame games

He promised Nigerians Heaven on Earth, but since he become President, Nigerians have been going though Hell under the Buhari administration.


Buhari and APC promised Nigerians 3 million jobs in 1 year ( 12 months) when they were campaigning but today the reverse is the case.

Over 4.5 million Nigerians have Lost their jobs under the present Buhari Government in just 1 year.

The total number of Nigerians who became unemployed within the first and second quarter of 2016 (6 months) now stands at 2.6 million.

Buhari in just 1 year as a civilian head of State has become a monumental failure, he has single handedly led us into recession for the second time.

Buhari as a military head of state was a colossal disaster, where he led Nigeria into recession.

In summary Buhari has been a huge disappointment, an unfathomable disgrace, a monumental disaster and a colossal failure to the yearning expectations of Millions of Nigerians both home and abroad.

Even Oshiomole, Obaseki and Edo State APC avoided mentioning or using Buhari 's name to campaign since the Edo State Governoship campaign started in July.

Bashir Ahmad, presidential media aide on the new media, reports that Buhari’s aircraft landed at 10:20 am. President Buhari is expected to visit the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, Eheneden Erediauwao, before attending the mega rally.

The rally is to hold at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the Edo state capital.

Nineteen candidates are contesting the September 10, 2016 governorship poll in the state, but from all indications, only five are actively involved in the campaigns. The two key candidates are: Mr Godwin Obaskei from the APC and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). It is considered that the poll would be won on the basis of performance. Based on this, the APC would depend on what it achieved during its eight-year government in the state, while the PDP would hope on promises. The PDP ruled the state for 10 years before the incumbent Governor Adams Oshiomhole took over the state under the platform of the former Action Congress of Nigeria before taking the state to the APC.

The flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Osagie Ize-Iyamu, in the September 10, Edo governorship elections, got a boost yesterday, following his radiant performance at the gubernatorial debate organized by Channels Television between the candidates in the governorship race.


The debate saw candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Godwin Obaseki; Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osagie Ize- Iyamu; All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Osaro Onaiwu and Amos Areolegbe of the Labour Party (LP) slugging out in a robust debate, which had journalists and stake- holders in attendanceIn the debate, the various candidates assured the electorate that priority would be given to security of life and property in the state, with all expressing concern over the scary security situation in Edo.

One of the high-points during the debate was the moment Ize-Iyamu lambasted the APC alleging that the party plunged the state into disaster within the eight years of being power.

Ize-Iyamu stole the debate session by setting the atmosphere of the debate, with qualitative criticism of other candidates,

He lamented that the administration of Governor Oshiomhole had earned not less than N1.4trillion but still borrowed $150million from the World Bank.

He said: “This is a government that has got the privilege to have close to N1.4trillion and yet they have carried the state into high level of indebtedness. “In the past two years alone, they borrowed $150 million from the World Bank. Look at the exchange rate now, and that money is supposed to be paid back in dollars. And they say they have economic adviser. I believe this government has been a disaster.”

The PDP candidate ex- pressed disappointment that the Oshiomhole government had performed woefully, after he left the cabinet as Secretary to the State Government, in the first term.

However, Obaseki who was on the defensive, promised to consolidate on measures taken so far by the outgoing governor, Adams Oshiomhole, which he noted have helped to reduce crime in the state.

Meanwhile, Onaiwu maintained that his administration would lit up the streets, invest in neighborhood watch and the police, while Areloegbe, spoke in similar vein.
