hevysomtin: ,You guy are just joking. I know you would never do such. |
@Poster, what are they 4real, tell me. I really need your advice |
Ebonyeyes:My user name gets me too much jabbing, those guys love to take the mic, but I am going deaf so I have started to like what they say now, only when i have a off day I tell them "madlady means I will shoot the next one who jabs me" ![]() Funny think, I hate all the heavy duty Mascaras, the 2000 about the best of the lot, but I am still on the hunt for my ideal. I shall write down the rest you advice and try them, I am sure one will come up trumps. |
jay bee:Oh yes that's it. Come let me "bait" you. ![]() |
@Poster, That's a very old trick that used to be done here in the UK, I cannot recall what the name for it is but it's very well known. ![]() |
@Ebonyeyes, Have you ever used Lancome kerercil (not sure about the spelling) used it for years, but cannot seem to find it anymore.I found it great, no bits, and did not make your eyes lashes stiff. Do you know of anything as good or better. |

@redsky1 I agree with you. I also sell off items on Ebay and another bag/vintage site, if you have good feedback you get repeat customers so they know your items are kosher. I have only ever lost money on my LV Drougout, and to be honest I only bought that because I wanted a bag I could wear across my body, under my coat. I love bags but I do not buy that many for myself, mainly buy for resale so always do the sales and Sotherby's. |
SLAP, No way for me. |

The Knights Templar by Susie Hodge. It's about the brotherhood and it's links with Freemasonry, fascinating read. |
ikamefa:THAT'S ALL THE RAGE IN THE UK, dash me na ![]() |

![]() @chaircover, not sure how much that's in pounds sterling, but great find. Nothing beats finding something like that, way better than paying the full price. |
Singular:Oh my god is that what he said. God bless NL and it's thread starters |
ubiaa5:Yes darling that's the 2nd time I have come across a Hermes in a secondhand shop, the 1st was a bit battered but I still managed to sell for a £400, THE EVELYN style.I took them both to the workshop in Paris to get them renovated but the charge to replace strap was too much This one I will keep, unless life or death, I collect Crocodile so it will take alot for me to part with it, I have put a crocodile strap on this but not sure about the look, would you replace with a heavy chain strap? |
Hermes, found in a secondhand shop in Dulwich Village (nearly died, paid the asking price £50) strap missing not sure if I should put a heavy chain strap or what.
|
Good advice. |
