Traditionally, you must know that the bulk of republican supporters are rural uneducated white supporters while the bulk of democratic supporters are the enlightened, educated and diverse demography.
Nigerians who support republicans do that primarily on the basis of religion, even though the party's policies is geared against their self interest. That article is confusing.
