I submitted application for PhD Mathematics, i was told my application is now with my potential supervisors for review that i will be contacted within 30 days.. If given the offer, what should i do not to be denied a visa? will i need a sponsor's bank statement? Or what documents should i use to apply for Visa so as not to be denied a visa. I'm afraid of the financial part. Pls is there any body presently in Auckland? Can i have your E-mail?

Hello everyone. I have been in Newcastle since Thursday for a conference. I am staying at one of the hotels along Hunters Street, Newcastle(near Newcastle Interchange), NSW. Please is anyone in the house available?
We could hangout. I am flying back to Auckland, New Zealand tomorrow. Thanks.

I've been in search of a full PhD scholarship myself in Oceania, preferably in New Zealand. Can you please give me an insight as to how you got this one.
You can apply at anytime. I wrote to some professors but none replied. I contacted the postgraduate school and was informed that I do not necessarily need to have a supervisor before applying. They said I should apply and a potential supervisor would contact me based on my research intent.

So I put in my application and after 2 weeks a potential supervisor wrote to me. We had a Skype interview. Then the waiting continued till January this year when they offered me admission.

You need to upload the following when applying;
-IELTS, overall band of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
-Your Msc thesis
-Research intent (download the template from the University website)
-Add any research paper you have.
-Two recommendation letters from your referees
-Bachelor's degree certificate and transcripts
-Master's degree certificate and transcripts
-Identity card (International passport or birth certificate )

There is no separate application for scholarship. On the online form you will be ask if you would like to be considered for the scholarship, so select yes.

Hello bro
TravelRe: General New Zealand Student Enquires by Maduh(m):
Thanks for asking. It was eventually approved, and I've been in NZ since April. The scholarship letter was sufficient for the financial requirement, but I later uploaded a bank statement as proof of onward travel (not upon request). It is also advisable that you provide evidence of family/economic ties with Nigeria. Good luck![/quote]Hello bro. Please what are the documents you provided to show evidence of family / economic ties in Nigeria? I got a PhD offer at the University of Auckland. I graduated from a University in South Korea and currently live here under a post study visa. I don't have a permanent job. I don't know if i should apply for the study visa from South Korea or to travel to Nigeria and apply from there.

Recently, I posted twice here but they were removed. Please what could be the reason?

I want to contact a Civil Engineering professor at university of Auckland for Phd program. Is there any information you can provide as regards to this? Maybe the best way to approach a professor. Thanks.

Guys you don't need any one's help to secure an admission into an underundergradute, master's, or phd programs in korea. Look for universities, check their admission requirements, prepare your documents and apply in time. They need international students. Many universities offer from 30 to 100 % tuition waiver plus monthly stipends( depending on your korean proficiency at times)
