If you have your nysc certificate, fine. The truth is, a well packaged CV can sell you to any h.r even before you are invited for interview. I got a job after 3+ years of no job, no experience because my CV helped me to get an invitation. prior to the interview, all the experience I had was working with a bunch of primary school kids. when I got to the office of the h.r, he asked me how I intend to cope with the job since I have no experience in customer support. I told him that he is right to say I have no experience in customer support but then I have worked with children and everyone knows that working with kids require a lot of patience, ability to multitask, problem solving etc which are some of the skills I need to excel as a customer support. I got the job that same day.
I am sharing this with you and everyone out there to encourage. don't disqualify yourself even before the h.r does. keep applying and keep improving your skills. there are free online courses you can take while you wait for your break through.
lastly, practice self confidence and learn how to manipulate any job to match your skills. I wish you good luck!
