The Katsina governorship candidate of the AllProgressive Congress (APC) Dr Dikko Radda, has described the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a true, detribalised and a uniting factor.
He said he has more than paid his dues for the survival of democracy in the nation.
Radda, in an exclusive chat with The Nation and TVC in Katsina on Sunday, said Tinubu has improved the quality of the living for thousands as Lagos Governor.
He said: ’’It’s no rocket science, everybody knows white and black, i think this is very clear you don’t need any rocket science to define it
‘’Bola Tinubu was Governor of Lagos State for eight years. People have seen what he has done in Lagos.
Everybody knows it how he has transformed Lagos, how he has improved the income of Lagos, how he has made Lagos one of the cities to look at.
‘’You can see the difference that all the opponents of Bola Tinubu in other parties, some of them were Governors, some occupying the position of Vice President in this country, look at their track records.
What did they achieve and what did Bola achieve?

Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate, Sen Bola Tinubu is the best man to lead Nigeria at this moment of its history.
Lalong said this on Friday in Jos when he received Mr Dayo Israel, APC National Youth Leader.
The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN)reports that Israel was in the state to interact with youths ahead of 2023 general elections.
The governor, who was represented by Mr Dung Daylyop, Plateau Commissioner for Youths
and Sports Development, said that Tinubu had proven himself beyond reasonable doubt.
According to him, Tinubu’s wealth of experience is what the nation needs to navigate the curve the
nation has found itself
“He has left footprints on the sands of time wherever he served.
“Tinubu is the only politician who left office in 2007 and remains relevant in every progressive discussion in country.
“Tinubu is not just the ‘Jagaban’ of the South West but the entire Nigeria,” he said.
Israel, in his remarks, said that Tinubu had lifted many people up, and that it was time for the people to lift him up to become president.
“That is why we must make it a duty to work and deliver our polling units, local government areas and state for Tinubu.
“If they tell you that he is not young, tell them he is a friend of the youths.
“If we vote him, we will be better for it because he has assisted many to heights they never imagined.
“We are counting on you, we have a choice before of us and that choice is Tinubu.”, he said.
According to him, Tinubu has proven to be best among the candidates contesting to be president in 2023.
In his remarks, Chief Rufus Bature, Plateau APC Chairman, urged the youths to embark on issue-based campaigns.
Bature also urged the youths to be peaceful as they go to all the nooks and crannies of the state and country to canvass votes for the APC.
APC Plateau Youth Leader, Mr Joseph Dashe, lauded youths for coming out in their numbers to welcome their national youth leader.
Dashe stated that youths in Plateau had never had it so good with Lalong- led APC state government.
According him, many youths have been appointed members of the state executive council and others had been appointed into top government positions.

The Peoples Democratic Party’s Deputy Director, Media and Publicity, Presidential Management Committee, Mr Uloka Chibuike, has said that the supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, are no longer confident in their ability to win the 2023 presidential election.
Chibuike said the Obidients are no longer at ease as they have been swept away because the status quo had changed for the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s sure victory in the 2023 presidential election.
He made the remarks in a statement made available to journalists in Awka on Wednesday.
Chibuike declared that at the moment, no presidential candidate had more support and acceptance in the country, especially in Anambra State, than the former vice president.
He added that in recent weeks, the PDP had welcomed hundreds of returning members and thousands of sympathisers from other political parties, with more expected to join Atiku’s crusade in the coming weeks.
The statement read in part, “With the 2023 presidential election a few months away, there is no doubt that Nigeria, especially Anambra State is gradually returning to the status quo with the PDP’s victory more probable.
“The PDP has taken over the streets, nooks and crannies of the country and the minority Labour Party supporters who are still standing with Peter Obi are no longer at ease or confident in their ability to win the election.
“The Obi strategy has long been manipulating our youths using lies, deceit, blackmail, sentiments and
emotions. The life span of lies and deceit is short, and Obi’s unpopular Labour Party is currently suffering for support in Anambra State and other parts of the South-East, because his deceit has grown stale over time and lacks the strength to compete with the PDP’s influence and legitimacy in the state.
“Following the appointments and inauguration of the Presidential Council and Management Committee, led by the duo of Senator Ben Obi, CON, and Professor Obiora Okonkwo, OFR, who have through their leadership and daily engagements, rejuvenated the commitment of party faithful, affiliates and supporters, the PDP has become the only alternative in the state and is confident of delivering 85 percent of Anambra votes to Atiku in 2023.
“Election is about numbers, and so far, only the PDP can boast of the numbers to win the presidential election in the state.
“As more people are becoming aware of Peter Obi’s weakness in the nation’s polity and his inability to gain majority votes throughout different regions of the country, his mystification is no longer having the desired effect.
“Our people have abandoned Peter Obi and his endeavour to retrogress the South-East politically as they gradually come to the realisation that throwing away our votes won’t be best for the survival of Ndi-Igbo in the country’s politics.
“Like we have always done since 1999, Anambra State will no doubt return to status quo with the PDP
and ensure that the state leads in front of the anticipated victory of the former vice president.
“Only a few of Peter Obi’s personal assistants, family members, and misguided individuals are left in his ineffective Labour Party, and their combined votes are inadequate to overthrow the PDP or challenge Atiku Abubakar’s victory in any local government of
the state. Anambra is the LP’s to lose.”

Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Tuesday, said his administration is committed to addressing the much dependence on export of raw materials which had been the bane of the country for years, declaring that such was a “disease” that must be cured without further delay.
Tinubu made this vow while speaking at an interactive session with the private sector participants, which took place at Eko Hotels in Victoria Island.

Speaking at the event, which had in attendance his running mate, Alhaji Kashim Shettima; several governors of APC, including the host, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gbeyega Oyetotola (Osun), Malam Nasir El- Rufai (Kaduna), Abdulrahman Abdulrazak (Kwara), among others, Tinubu said he was resolved to reverse the trend as, according to him, funds realized from such export was not enough to run the country and propel the economy.

“Our economy is too much dependent on export of raw materials, this is insufficient to fund the economy. The time is now to cure this disease,” he said.
The APC presidential candidate who noted that his personal experience in private sector and government, while he served as governor of Lagos would be deployed to bring about industrial revolution in the country if elected president, come
2023 said his administration was committed to achieving minimum of 6 per cent GDP growth, on yearly basis.

This was just as the APC presidential candidate who assured the private sector of strong partnership, promised to promote agriculture, to bring about enough food to the table of ordinary Nigerians, saying he was also determined to ensure that his administration provide affordable electricity in a way to drive the country’s industrial growth.

“We must target a win-win situation. I am determined to give you affordable power in a way to
drive the country’s industrial growth.

“We must produce, we cannot afford not to. We have what it takes to bring power supply. We have the gas, we have the sun, among others,” he said.
