Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 presidential candidate has appointed Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State as Campaign Senior Adviser on Administration and Government.
Tinubu also appointed the former governor of Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Wamakko as Senior Adviser, Special Duties.
According to the letters of appointment made available to newsmen on Sunday in Abuja and signed by Tinubu, both Masari and Wamakko are to serve in the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
The letters said both men’s impressive political achievement and the exemplary leadership demonstrated as governor and Senator in their states and as party members qualified them for the responsibility.
The letter to Masari read in part, “By way of this letter, we are pleased to formally convey your appointment as the Special Adviser on Administration and Government of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
“This appointment is fitting and appropriate given your impressive political achievement and the exemplary leadership you have demonstrated as governor of your state and as a party member.”
Tinubu revealed that the appointments were fitting and appropriate given the impressive political achievement and exemplary leadership both politicians demonstrated in different capacities and as party members.
The former Lagos State governor, however, prayed for guidance for the new appointees.

A pan-Yoruba group, Isokan Yoruba, on Sunday called on all Nigerians to believe in the presidential aspiration of Sen. Bola Tinubu and vote massively for him, come 2023.
Prince Lateef Adekunle, National President of the group ,made the call during the inauguration of the
group’s executive members in Makoko Community in Lagos.
He said Tinubu,APC presidential candidate, had the competence and the passion to move the country forward, adding Nigerians would not regret voting him as president.
“Our father ,Bola Tinubu, is a man with so many sterling qualities.He is a great leader who has impacted lives and has raised so many other great leaders .

“His records of performance in and out of office speak volumes .He did well as governor and he is doing well as a political leader.
“We believe in Tinubu and his aspiration and we appeal to all Nigerians to believe and trust in Tinubu’s presidency.
“Tinubu is a man who does not disappoint .Nigerians will not regret voting this great man come 2023 as he will deliver .“ ,he said.
According to him, the challenges facing the country at the moment requires someone with ideas and will, to be at the helms of affairs.
He described Tinubu as a man of vision,who laid the foundation for the “great state” Lagos had become today.
The group’s president said Tinubu was a lover of all Nigerians of all tribes and religions ,adding he demonstrated this by accommodating all in his cabinet when he was Lagos governor.
“We need to point out that we are not under any political party.We are not being funded by any party but our own little resources .
“Our support for Tinubu is out of the strong belief that he can fix Nigeria.He is our father and a great son of Yorubaland .

Adekunle said the group was surprised that some Yoruba groups ,including Afenifere ,were opposed to Tinubu becoming president .
He said the opposition was not owing to Tinubu’s lack of capacity to perform but due long-standing personal disagreements some Yoruba leaders were having with the presidential candidate .
Adekunle said it was time for all Yoruba sons and daughters to put sentiments aside and support Tinubu,assuring that he would do well for the Yorubas as well as people of other regions .
He said Isokan Yoruba would mobilise support for Tinubu’s presidency across the length and breadth of Yorubaland.
Adekunle urged the newly inaugurated executive members to hit the ground running and embark on house-to -house mobilisation of supoort for Tinubu
Speaking,Mr Ganjemeji Obafemi ,a member of the group and youth leader in Makoko community ,said he and other members of the group would deliver the community to APC and Tinubu ,come 2023.
“We are so happy with what is happening today.Tinubu is our leader and our father in Makoko.
“Makoko has always gone in the direction of Tinubu and it is not going to be different in 2023.

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and senatorial candidate of the party in Kaduna Central senatorial district of Kaduna State, Mohammed Sani Dattijo has given reasons why northerners will vote for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate. According to him, Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, are the candidates who can build on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Dattijo spoke while inaugurating the Tinubu Shettima
Support Group [TISCON), a group of about 2000 youths spread across 23 Local Governments of the State, to work for the success of the party.
He urged the youths to go to the various towns and villages of the state and tell the people why they should vote for APC. According to him, APC is the only political party with good government policies aimed at moving the country and the youth forward.
“Northerners should ensure that APC wins the next election because it’s the only party that has them at heart compared to others. This is why as youth we must vote for the right candidate to brighten our future,” he said. “We need a person that is ready to take this country to the promise land. We need a person that loves our region and the country at large.
Tinubu and his running mate Shettima are the right candidates to vote for in the next election because of their track records as governors in their respective states,” he said.
Party bigwigs at the event include the APC governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, Speaker House of Assembly, Rt Hon Ibrahim Zailani, and other party Chieftains like Hon Albashir Kubau, Hon Salisu Ten-Ten, Hon Shehu Pambegua, Hon Yusuf Lawal and many others.

FCT, Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC), on Saturday, October 1 announced the composition of its women’s campaign team ahead of the 2023 general elections Known as the Tinubu/Shettima women presidential campaign team, the current First Lady, Aisha Buhari was named as the grand patron.
The APC women's team will be chaired by Senator Oluremi Tinubu Also playing key roles are Senator Oluremi Tinubu, three-term senator representing Lagos Central at the
upper chamber of the National Assembly and former first lady of Lagos state, and Nana Shettima, the former first lady of Borno state and wife of the APC’s vice-presidential candidate.
They will be serving as chairman and co-chairman of the women’s campaign team respectively according to a statement by Rinsola Abiola, daughter of late Chief MKO Abiola and active member of the APC.
Abiola will serve in the media and administrative committees in the women’s campaign team.
Asabe Vilita Bashir, a former member of the House of Representatives from Borno will serve as national coordinator while Lauretta Onochie, a prominent woman within the APC and a senior aide in the presidency, will deputise her.
The women’s campaign in the North-West Zone will be coordinated by Dr Zainab Baugudu, wife of the Kebbi state governor, while Mrs Falmata Zulum, the first lady of Borno state, will be in charge of the northeast.
In a similar vein, Olufolake Abdulrazaq, the first lady of Kwara state, will coordinate efforts in the north-central and Mrs. Sanwoolu, wife of the Lagos state governor, will superintend over the southwest.
The first lady of Imo state, Chioma Ikeaka-Uzodinma will also coordinate the southeast while Linda Ayade, wife of the Cross River state governor, will spearhead the women’s campaign in the south-south.
All governors’ wives are to serve as state coordinators in APC states, while notable APC women such as Florence Ajimobi, widow of the former governor of Oyo state and Zainab Ibrahim, the APC deputy national women leader, among others, were chosen to coordinate activities in states not controlled by the APC.
The administrative committee is led by Hon. Wahab Alawiye-King, an influential Lagos politician and close
associate of Oluremi Tinubu, also doubles as the chairman of the committee on strategic planning.
Also heading the committee on operations and logistics is Senator Fatima Raji-Rasaki while Sarafa
Modele-Yusuf, a seasoned media practitioner, is to head the media and strategic communications committee.
The finance and special duties committee is to be headed by the former deputy governor of Lagos state and senior special assistant to the president, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, while the diaspora mobilisation committee is to be chaired by Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
The creative and entertainment industry also has the seasoned screen diva, Joke Silva as its chairman, and includes other members such as Toyin Adegbola, Esther Wright, Rose Odika and Hadiza Kabara, among others.
The directorate of contact and mobilisation has 944 members including Hon. Tolulope Akande Sadipe, Hon. Rekiya Yahaya, Zainab Ikaz-Kassim, among others.
The list also contains volunteers including Zahra Buhari, Hafsa Umar Shinkafi, Ahmed Indimi, Mairo Bulama Idris, Aisha Ahmed Jika and others.
