Rootiab: Good day everyone. Please permit me to share my story. I started this Canada talk since 2012/2013 when I graduated from secondary school then I later went to one university in ghana. Fast forward to 2018 when I was serving and I still wanted to travel then 2020 came and j started my process, I was miraculously able to raise 1m cause when I suggested Canada to my parents they said no. So before I started, a friend gave me an agents number which I called and he said I can't get admission for masters with my 2.2 and that even if I apply for pgd I have 20% chance of getting visa, I later went home and prayed and I applied and I got admission into 2 schools in Canada and chose Memorial and I paid part of my tuition which was also above the initial deposit and I wrote my ielts, which I just prepared for 3 days and I passed. So after all this I started thinking of where will I get statements since my parents are refusing to sponsor or help in anyway, then I spoke with ese and she told me to pray and have faith, although I contacted some people who were telling me to pay 500k, 400k for statements of just 10m. So I finally decided to go back and ask my parents with the help of my sister and Glory be to God my parents agreed and gave me statements of 15m which was more than what other were offering for 500k. Luckily for me I was able to submit my application this morning by 3am. I Just want to Say Thank you so much y'all for encouraging everyone and also advising everyone. I'm grateful, for those yet to apply and still in process, commit everything to God and he will do it. Peace hello , can I message you , I’m currently serving and I would love to go for masters in finance in Canada . I don’t know where to start from . I don’t know if you can guide me or through an agent , my dad is willing to sponsor me . Thanks for your response |

lentomac: Hi,
This is my own suggestion....
Though NYSC is not a requirement for study Visa application, but I think you should do your NYSC first, then before you pass out, you can be processing your PG. Cert Admission, get it and apply for Visa. That one year period you can be using it to gather documents for your Admission & Visa. Hello sir, I’m currently doing my nysc , I would love to go for masters in finance in Canada . I don’t know if you can guide me , my dad is willing to sponsor me . Thanks for your response
Your NYSC PPA Acceptance Letter & your Discharge Certificate would show that you have a One year Work Experience. A Letter of Recommendation from that your PPA would be essential when you want to apply for Permanent Residence (PR).
From one of your post, you said you have the opportunity & connect to work in a food processing company for your NYSC and luckily for you, that is closely related to your degree. Not everyone has this opportunity, most corpers are being posted to schools to teach, so make use of this opportunity.
That one year Work experience can be helpful if you want to apply for Permanent Residence (Express Entry, PNP etc.) after your studies.
You still have age by your side, so play your cards well, so it can favor you both in your Study Visa Application & PR application in the nearest future.
For your Study Visa Application, having a work experience also has it's own benefit, most esp. If it relates to the program you want to go and study in Canada |

It's very important, so you don't get to loose on any end.
Most schools specify resumption timelines and the likes, and most Scholarships are in line with the school.
For all the other running around, you can always liase with your corp members, PPA, etc. Anyway, you can always rough that one.

oebenezero11: Hi everyone,
My name is Ebenezer, a Nigerian. I live in the North American Continent. Here, I can help you process postgraduate admission into some schools in the United States, Canada, Mexico with 100% scholarship. Irrespective of your course of study, chances are you will get your admission with full 100% scholarship. The breakdown of the details are given below:
Science Courses (About 90% will gain the admission with full scholarship) Social Science and Management (About 50% will gain admission with full scholarship) Arts (About 50% will gain admission with full scholarship)
You will most likely get your Visa if you have a scholarship (since you will be paid - no economic solvency). Most people are denied visa after admission if they can't meet up with the fees.
I'm not asking you to trust me. I have contact offices in Ibadan, Oyo State; Ife, Osun State and Ilorin, Kwara State where you can visit before you trust us. You must be ready to write and pass English Exams (TOEFL or IELTS), Knowledge exams (GRE or any other depending on your course), pay for your travel ticket to the country before you can register for the scholarship and get paid. Depending on your performances in those exams, you can meet a good Supervisor who can support you with travel expenses.
My services are not free. I can only assure you your dream will come true if you have the requirements.
To get started, send me an email at oebenezero11@gmail.com and I'll send you my personal number for chatting and we can get started. I forgot to add that you must have at least, Second class Upper at Bachelors level if you're looking for Masters Admission and a Ph.D. grade in Masters for Ph.D. admission. Your admission will still depend on your score in GRE (or other knowledge exams) and TOEFL/IELTS. We get started by getting you a Supervisor so you'll be part of the process. Be willing to write the exams before contacting us. Thank you.
I wish you the best.
Ebenezer can I message you |

Education › Re: List Of Cheapest Universities In Canada by Makah00: 8:57pm On Mar 20, 2020 |
[quote author=Engineer11985 post=85677087]Many people shy away from applying to universities in Canada, because they feel that the tuition fees is too high. Well, the truth is that a lot of Canadian universities are cheap; their tuition fees are very low compared to universities in places like USA, UK and Australia. I have written many articles on low tuition universities in Canada, so you can check the achieves section of this blog to access these articles. Canada is a North American country stretching from the U.S. in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. Major cities include massive Toronto, west coast film centre Vancouver, French-speaking Montréal and Québec City, and capital city Ottawa. Canada’s vast swaths of wilderness include lake-filled Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains. It’s also home to Niagara Falls, a famous group of massive waterfalls. Important facts about Canada that you should knowCanada ranks high as one of the world’s leading destinations for international students, a home of international students from diversecultural background and experiences, it is known for cities with large ethnic mix and furthermore it’s a beauty place to study. This popularity Canada enjoys is largely due to the fact that unlike other parts of the world, the cost of tuition and living in Canada is very affordable, though not cheap but affordable and with planning students can make preparations ahead for a life of studies in Canada. Unlike Australia, United Kingdom and USA that are like counterparts, Canada ranks rank in providing affordable tuition and living expenses. Canada offers the lowest tuition fees for foreign students unlike its counterparts. Tuition rates at U.S public varsities for bachelor degree course for example are 30% higher than those in Canada, while fees of private universities are much higher In today’s post I shall be providing an updated list of top 10 lowest tuition universities in Canada with their respective tuition fees for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Before I do this, will like us to look at benefits of studying in Canada, cost of living, admission requirements, possibility of working and studying in Canada etc. We can assist with admission and visa processing into low tuition universities in Europe, Kindly call: +2349060294376 or +2348054323165 for more information Why many student choose Canada? You may be asking yourself this question. Why thousands of students worldwide prefer or choose to study in Canada. Find the reasons below: The first reason is that many international students are attracted to the high rankings of colleges and universities in Canada. Universities like University of Toronto, McMaster University, and University of British Columbia rank almost the same with the Ivy Leagues and prestigious universities in the United Kingdom and other places. While the education system in Canada is fantastic, it’s still cheaper compared to those in other developed countries such as USA, United Kingdom and Australia. The second reason why international students choose to study in Canada is the beautiful nature in Canada. Canada is known for its beauty and has fascinating animals and plants. Since places like Vancouver, Quebec, and Nova Scotia are popular tourist attractions, alot of international students wish to study in Canada to feed their eyes and view the beautiful and magnificent nature. The third reason is that Canadian universities and colleges offer undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD programs with very low and affordable tuition fees. Apart from this, professional degrees such as MBA and Medical doctors can be obtained by paying low tuition fees. I need to state that these tuition figures change according to your program or course of study, so numbers are an average. Cost of living in Canada for studentsCost of living can be defined as the amount an individual student needs to take care of his/her feeding, accommodation, transportation, buying of books, recreation etc in a period of time. This amount usually changes depending on the lifestyle an dispending habit of a students. In Canada, it is estimated that a student needs about $600 to $800 per month for his/her day to day living. Here’s the breakdown: Accommodation (bedroom apartment) – $400 approximately per month. Books and supplies – $1000 per year Movies – $8.50 – $13 Average restaurant meal – $10 – $25 per person Groceries – $150 – $200 per month HOUSINGMost universities offer on-campus residences designated for international students, although acceptance of study does not guaranty automatically you will get accommodation on campus. Students have to apply separately for on-campus housing. The cost for on-campus housing varies across provinces and institutions and depends if students want a private apartment or shared apartment, meal course also must be taken into effect. Students can choose to live in apartment’s off-campus. Rents vary ranging from $400 CDN to $1,500 CDN per month depending on apartment choice, city and neighborhood. Remember that utilities have to be put into consideration, utilities such as electricity, phone, internet, cable television, and insurance as well as personal expenses. Most universities provide assistance in getting accommodation both on and off campus. These services are provided through the housing office or student services. TRANSPORTDepending on proximity, many students walk or take bike to campus daily. Public transportation in form of buses, commuter trains, ferries are readily available for transport. On the average students can plan $100 Cdn monthly for transportation even though discounts are offered by many transport providers. For students that intend to own a car and drive themselves to campus daily, it should be noted that provincial government are responsible for provision of drivers’ licenses so upon arrival students will have to contact ministry of transportation in theprovince of study to check if they are eligible and then apply. HEALTH INSURANCEAll foreign students must have an health insurance in Canada. Medical insurance are available to all international students from province to province. Provinces like Saskatchewan, Labrador, British Columbia, New foundland, Manitoba and Alberta provide medical cover for international students under their health care insurance plans but this depends on length of stay too. Admission intake periodsAlmost all programs in Canadian colleges and universities have 3 intake periods in a year. These three intakes are winter, spring and fall. You will need to contact the school and find out the available intake periods for your chosen program. You can do this by calling or sending a mail to the admissions department. Remember that you need to apply as early as possible, for instance, if your program intake period is by January (winter), ensure that you apply 6 to 8 months in advance so you will have enough time to process your visa. Work while studyingInternational students are allowed to work while studying in Canada. You can work up to 20 hours per week during regular academic sessions, and full time during scheduled breaks (for example, winter and summer holidays, and spring break). A work permit does not guarantee that you will find a job. It is your responsibility to look for work. Even if you work off campus, your studies must be the main reason you are in Canada. Gerrard59: Just to add, write the GRE and have other requirements ready, then seek for funding. The likelihood of being funded with that CGPA in Canada is low and this is me being honest. Try the US as I've stated that she not her northern neighbour provides immense funding opportunities which is more than any other country globally. At most, you will spend 30% of the $10K for preparing for the US. I heard about the visa immigration ban on nigeria that's why I planned on going to Canada. Can I message you sir |

RisenPhoenix: I'm not too sure about the CGPA requirements, you might be asked to run a PGD or go to community college before admission depending on the school you apply to. US$10,000 will be about 14,000 CAD. It should be just about enough to scrape by to finish up the programme; and you should be able to get a PG student job without much difficulty while studying for extra income. Just go through the different university websites and check their fees and requirements to find one that will suit you; it's that simple. I don't know much about how admission is run now, but application was relatively easy some years back. If you want, you could also get a reliable agent to put you through. They will be more current on the procedure.
Good luck. thank you |

Lakeland4321: Let me give you a brief opinion about each country: US - Their schools are overrated and expensive. Upon graduation you will not be allowed to stay back except it's an IVY league schools ( Harvard, yale, princeton, Stanford, Columbia MIT, Brown etc) since you want to relocate US is a no no
UK - Very easy to get admission and it's quite pricey too but like the US you cannot stay back after graduation.
Canada - this is by far the best choice for the following reasons 1.) Affordable school fees 2.) Friendly and tolerate environment 3.) You can stay back after graduation with a post graduate work permit (pgwp), its 1 yr prep for 1 yrs program and 3yr pgwp for programs of 2yrs or more. This us important because you are expected to use the work permit to get a job and process your permanent residence.
With this canada far outweigh the others for young single guys and even families.
Go to canada and see yourself prosper pls sir can I message u |

ENG0701: Pros and cons for each: US Pros: easier to get funding than the other countries listed. if you get to stay, pay is higher in the US. US is more fun if that is a factor for you. Cons: there is no easy path to residency, that's why most either marry a citizen or stay illegally. The other option is if you get an employer than can file for you, but then you are a slave because you cant resign without losing your status.
Canada Pros: Easy to get PR after studying. Canada is more welcoming of skilled immigrants. I dont know much about your field but job prospect is dependent on what you study so you have to research your field well. Cons: Not much funding available, high rate of student visa denial. I know some people that were denied in 2019. And Canada can be boring, if that matters to you
UK Pros: Easiest to get Visa of the 3, with the change in rule, you can get to stay back for 2 years after your program which gives you opportunity to get UK experience. Cons: UK schools are expensive. Immigration law seems to change often so you may get stocked. And if you stay back after study, I'm not sure what happens after the 2 years. NB: i do not know much about UK generally. Pls can I message you?. |
