And if its truly $6K per year, then you will need all the prayers in this world to get a Visa with that LOA.. Peace Elmemeoflagos: Guy...Calm down... My tuition fee for a yr is just $6k |

The last time I checked, it between 30k - 40k (updated price). It used to be 5k few months back.. But Police Certificate is never a compulsory document as many applicants have gotten Visa without submitting it.. But if you are a fresh study permit visa applicant, you can do it if you wish).. Peace TOSM: Good morning everyone, please what is the current price for police clearance certificate? |

Hello Ade As a BSc graduate, its sensible you go for either a Masters degree or a Post graduate Diploma Degree depending on your grade to show Career progression. And which Winter resumption are you talking about, 2023 0r 2024. if its the former, I wont advise that move. You can go for May 2023 resumption( that is if its still open for your program though) and take your time to re-strategize before you re-apply. You were refused some days back and you wanna re-apply immediately, not a good move. Order for your GCMS notes, Go for May 2023 resumption as you adequately prepare for your re-application. Its better you settle down, take your time to study the reasons for your refusal in your GCMS notes, re-apply and get your Visa than to re-apply immediately and get refused again. Peace Adeade98: Good morning NL family, I got my refused Application on Oct.14th based on" The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application"
I have a bachelor degree and I wanted to change my degree to another and I think that is the reason met.
Hope am right?
I am already processing Master in my field for winter?
Can I Re-apply this month?
Hope is it not too quick.(I was denied in October and Re-apply in October.?
Response needed urgently |

This is not correct, Police certificate is way more expensive now, the last time I checked, its between 30k to 40k depending on your bargaining power.. Peace technix: Should be around 5,000Naira. It's not compulsory for study visa application though. |

Hello Sam I wanna believe you have already gotten Admission in this school, so you can go ahead with your Visa Application. But on a norms, I will advise anybody to apply to Ontario colleges for their Admission. Even though this colleges are more expensive thna other colleges in other provinces, you stand a high chance of getting ur Visa (If you put in a visa application) and also future benefits in the province of Ontario.. Judicial Review. You don't wanna do JR though, except you have millions of naira to part away with and also be ready to wait for close to a year to get the final decision which may not end in your favour depending on how good your lawyer is.. Just re-apply to safe yourself unnecessary stress and Money.. Peace CharitoJames: What is JR? |

Hello awele You can apply for a spousal permit for ur spouse and visiting/study permit (depending on their age) for your kids, immediately you get to Canada, you don't need to wait till when you apply for PGWP before you bring them over.. You can even apply for them after getting your PPR while still in Nigeria, so you all can go together if their application is approved.... Peace awele001: Hello gurus, if am giving one year study permit, after my studies and i apply for pgwp so i can work, while working, can i invute my wife and kids to come stay with me? Your assumption is on point.. Sometimes Visa approval depends on the kinda Visa Officer that attends to an application.. Early this year I had a case of an applicant who got refused and contacted me, after reviewing the whole of her application, I told her this application of hers can actually get her a study permit Visa, she was suggesting Judicial Review (JR) but I told her no need of JR cos its is expensive and time consuming.. I just adjusted some things in her SOP and drafted her LOE, and we re-applied with the same documents (no addition, no subtraction) she submitted in her refused application.. And she got her Visa in 2 months time... We ordered for her GCMS notes, despite getting approved cos I wanted to check something and I discovered her re-application was handled by a different Visa officer.. That is why atimes I do tell applicants, one prayer you all should be praying is that "Let my application get to the hands of the right Visa Officer, the Visa officer that will favour my application".Peace Frankielilbaby: Also, remember the visa officers are different people with different opinions anyways one may be strict and one may be lenient so if officer A approved a visa it doesn't mean officer B would have approved it if he was the evaluating it I may be wrong though. Maybe a board of people also decides but there are hundreds of applications submitted each new day so this is just my assumption. |

Hello birch As we all know Police certificate isn't a compulsory document for study permit application, especially if you are returning Visa applicant.. But if you are a 1st time applicant, then you can do it if you like. I have had and seen many applicants getting their study visa without submitting Police Certificate.. Hello Bobomaigida The bolded is not totally correct, an applicant is required to show funds for a year with the assurance that there is a stable income that will cover up the remaining years without working in Canada. And the applicant must convince the Visa Officer that the funds will be available.. Peace Bobomaigida: Someone has given you a breakdown before, it is not only about the tuition, since you are going for a four year course, you are ideally supposed to show the
Tuition = 18,000 * 4 = 72,000 Living expense = 10,000 * 4 = 40,000 Miscellaneous = 3000* 4 = 12,000 Total = 124,000 at the official IRCC rate as of Friday of 0.00317780 = N39,020,706 This amount is the mininum your sponsor should have in addition to excess that he can use for his expenses in Nigeria. So, if your uncle has N50m then on paper you are good to go. |

Hello Hessian Even though this is tricky, you can include your MBA qualification when applying for your Visa, you will just have it at the back of your mind that you have an assignment of convincing the Visa officer why you are going for another Masters degree when you just got one this year. I have personally seen applicants getting Visa with a Master degree LOA despite having a previous Master degree... Going for another Master degree isn't a problem, the problem is for you to really convince the Visa officer why you wanna go for another Master degree, if you are able to cross that hurdle and also other factors as regards ur visa application are in place, then your application will be approved. Peace Hessian: I need advice please. I have a first degree in Economics (2006). I have an MBA (2022). I also have 14 years experience in Sales and business development. Now I want to apply to a Canadian university to study for Master in Business Economics. Does it make sense to include my MBA qualification when applying ?
I am very new here please!
Thanks in anticipation of your advice. |

Hello SailingSeafarer I will advise you go for a Masters program if you can, moreover there are more opportunities in Ontario compared to Atlantic Povinces.... Peace SailingSeafarer: Good morning guys.
Please is there anyone here who is interested in applying for or currently studying supply chain management and logistics in Canada?
I am considering studying supply chain management. The two schools I have in mind are university of Windsor, Ontario (because they offer a masters program in that field and I prefer masters degree to a PGD) The second school is NBCC (New Brunswick community college), they offer PGD instead of masters but then PR is easier in Atlantic provinces compared to places like Ontario.
Eastern college (NB) is also another option.
I’m a bit indecisive on this . Could anyone please help with ideas or opinions Thanks @makano |

Every International student is jumping to this news. With this, students can comfortably pay for their outstanding school fees.. it is really a good news for anyone to be sad.. You are the 1st person I am seeing on and off this thread getting sad about this.. Peace bepositive11: I know some of you are happy about the recent announcement of being able to work more than 20 hours a week, but I'm honestly sad about it.
Why not raise minimum wage for international students instead? It's like Canada is exploiting international students instead of helping us. Imagine. Expecting students to study full time, and then work full time for minimum wage? Something is not right.
Canada doesn't have the best interest of students at heart. If they did, they would raise minimum wage instead of allowing us to work more than 20 hours while studying full time. |

This is too much explanation for his question.. Peace Joedave25: @ Kingarike,
Medical request/exam is just one of the indices deployed by IRCC, they will need to assess if you are eligible (eligibility review) which may not be limited to ascertain:
1.) If there's a career progression.......purpose of study.Your program of interest should be able to align with your first degree/certificate or your working experience etc.
2.) If you have the capacity to fund your study.Funds available in your bank statement should be able to cover your living expenses for atleast one year(10kCAD +Tuition fees+Miscellaneous atleast 4kCAD). You will also be required to demonstrate (in your SOP) how you intend to foot your bills for the next year should you be running morethan a year program.
3.) If your choice of program is worth the expenses involved and so on.
The odds depends largely on the above and how you articulate your thoughts in your Statement of Purpose (SOP)
I will STRONGLY advise you take out time and go through the 1st page of this thread and the previous thread for more guide. All the information you will ever need to pull through are here.Spare time to dig deeper for insight!!!!!!!!
I hope this helps. |

Hello Cadygosh I can see you are a great fan of the great works myself and my fellow knowlesgable people are doing here.. I intentionally had to take a break cos of the falseful information without evidences and negative atmosphere here during those times, I am not the kinda person that argues on a normal day, not to talk of arguing with faceless fellows here that I dnt even know how they look like real life.. I value my time so much cos as we all know Time is short, so instead of me arguing and trying to proof point here, I just replied the Jobless fellow once and that was it.. No time to be reacting to every stone thrown at me.. I just came online now to see close to a 100 Mentions, and I said to myself, While these Jobless peeps were talking ill of Makano here, Makano has been busy achieving a lot with his time, and I shook my head and said what a waste of time for these peeps.. Time is precious, a lot can happen withing minutes, so why waste your time on unnecessary talks and arguments.. Thas is the reason why you will never see me argue with anybody here, never.. I don't know how to waste my time.. Once again thank you Cadygosh for having my(our) back here, I wish you the best in all your endeavors.. I am back but may not be really active here... I will keep doing what I know how to do best (answering difficult questions here as regards study and spousal permit applications for free here)Peace Cadygosh: You welcome Justmellow and good to have you back.
The bittered souls that have been claiming Fake PPR from you gurus have not for once brought out concrete evidence to prove their points, but they chose to tarnish the images of selfless people like you, frank and Makano on this thread out of Envy and hate.
