Hello house and greetings to all the gurus, I am a silent member and I joined nairaland sometime around November/ December 2021 after I received my acceptance letter from NBCC. I read through thread 18,19, 20… and I leant so many things. I contacted Makanoglabal on the thread who assisted me with an outstanding SOP and vital information that assisted me in my application. He encouraged me even when I thought it can’t be possible. He was always ready to answer my numerous questions even those that are absurd. I personally have seen some applicants getting their Visas after 7 and 5 refusals, I am sure your case isn't as worse these cases..

Pick up yourself and order for your GCMS notes.. You can still get your Visa,

There is no Estimate Time for this, sometimes it takes weeks and sometimes days..

Just send a mail informing IRCC that you have done your medical examination, make sure you attach the Medical E-sheet to your mail..

This is very normal.

The mails you send to IRCC are contained in your GCMS notes..

Even when you contact MPs for your application, it will also be captured by your Gcms notes..

I am very sure you don't know that Visa Officers know about this popular thread, so imagine if a Visa Officer comes on here and see this irritating and rotten post of yours, and we know fully well that these People know Nigerians for fake documents, that was the reason for MBS in the 1st place cos there was a time 80% of Nigeria applicants were submitting fake Statements of Accounts.

Now you are posting this, please do not allow your bad motive affect genuine Nigerians applying to study in Canada.. Visa officers have presence on this thread in case you don't know. Let us be careful with what we post here..

Applied for visiting visa for my spouse 11th January 2022 and got refusal 9th of February.
I met @Makano on nairaland through a friend's recommendation and we applied for Sowp for spouse on March 13th 2022 and received ppr July 12th.
God is so good, I can't contain my joy.

The Visa Officer simply had issues with your 3rd party sponsor.. They were not convinced with the funds presented by the said sponsor for your application, even though he/she has a huge amount.. The inflow and outflow seems not convincing to the Visa Officer. Like I always tell applicants, its not about having billions as your closing balance, your inflow and outflow must be very healthy.

In your re-application, I will advise you change ur sponsor to a closely related sponsor (Parents, siblings) or you can as well be a self sponsor. But if you wanna be a self sponsor, you will have to also work on yourself as regards finances cos they also had issues with your financial and economy stability..

If you insist you wanna still use this 3rd party sponsor, then you both have a lot of work to do to convince the Visa Officer in your re-/ application. Let your sponsor make clear about his Source of income to the Visa officer with documents to back up his/her claims, and also show total commitment to your studies and living expenses in Canada. You can still get your visa using a 3rd party sponsor, just make sure he/she shows total commitment and also you as the applicant, you must work on your economic and financial stability..

1. Simply send Nairobi, abuja and Lagos IRCC Centers mails to notify them of this, remember to attach your biometric slip.. Do this everyday until your Biometrics is updated..

2. Even though it isn't necessary sending them this, you can still send them the updated tuition receipt.. IRCC will definitely know of payments made to schools cos they communicate with schools in Canada to be sure what the applicants are declaring as regards school fees are actually correct, but u can go ahead and send it.. You can do this together with your Biometrics..

3. This is not necessary, they would have also known about this during your info Sharing.. Its only Visa Refusals to other countries that must be declared to IRCC to avoid a BAN.

Good Morning,

I have an admission in Centennial College for Fall 2022 and applied on April 26 and did an upfront medical on May 25. My medical just got updated on June 23 after sending webforms and emails. I had earlier submitted my biometrics when I applied for a visiting visa in 2018 so its valid till 2028. I currently have an admission in University of Stirling in Scotland that I must close out on by July 31, 2022. My questions are;

1. I noticed that on the “Details about my application status” my biometrics section is yet to be updated and states that “We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.” I am concerned about the delay and wonder if this is the reason the review of my eligibility is yet to commence.
2. I recently paid the balance of my school fees for the year, when I submitted I had paid only the acceptance fees. I used funds from an account I did not submit so funds in the POF I submitted are still there, do I need to send them this additional information?
3. Should I let them know about this UK admission as I need to know my position to enable me not be at a disadvantage. Time is of essence

Yes, you can touch it especially if its for the purpose of paying your school fees.. But make sure as you are spending the funds for other things, return some funds back to your account.. IRCC can wake up one morning and request for an Updated SOA..

I am sure your question would have been answered by now, cos I know I am answering this late..

Your sponsor is clearly a 3rd party sponsor, which means you have a very slim chance of getting your Visa if you fail to convince the Visa Officer why you using your Maternal Aunt as your sponsor and not your Dad or mum..

Your 3rd party sponsor must be ready to show total commitment to our studies and living expenses and also make sure the funds will be readily available all through your study in Canada, for you to stand a chance of getting your PPR... Also you must make sure you show close relationship with this said sponsor, like getting a proof of her sponsoring your education in the Past or an old pix of both of you.

Even though you have a slim chance of getting your Visa with a 3rd party sponsor, it isn't impossible as we have seen peeps here using their uncles and Aunts as sponsors and still got their Visas.. Just make sure you and your aunt do some serious home work to really convince the Visa Officer as regards the sponsorship part of your application.
