All status are completed for my spousal sponsorship today, pls how soon will I be called for passport submission?

This is a good development because in a while now it seems like the only update most people have been getting from accra VO is medicals. They are simply checking if you are eligible and it’s possible they are done with background checks but yet to update that on the portal. Lets keep our fingers crossed for Prearrival/ppr.

My eligibility status on my tracker just changed to in progress while background is till in progress can anyone tell me what it means?

I wish we know any way to express our grievances. personally, i have raised countless webforms and emails, yet no response. Going through this delay again can be mentally draining.

Accra VO is really really the cause of the delay. Spousal applications with other VOs are processed within a shorter time. Isn't there any platform to air our grievances. I think this is so unfair!!!

Yes i did but still no update on it.
I haven’t seen anyone with an update as well. Just hoping this SS comes out soonest coz 6months is almost here.

Cos I submitted in September and there’s no peep so far

You need to check document checklist for the documents required and they are alot. Better still go to “hit and submit” page on YouTube for better information.

Totally unfair. You can send webforms and mails If your application has passed the processing time.

I didn’t have to upload mine tho. I was only following up with the hospital to know when the result will be sent to ircc. So I got the medical results updated on my portal 3days after the results were sent to ircc by the physician.
In general it took 13days that is from the day I conducted the test to the date the medical was passed.

I Will suggest you confirm that your results have been sent to ircc.

Well, Let’s hope to hear from them soon as outland processing time has now reduced to 13months

AOR is usually sent within 3months and judging from your date of submission, you are still less than a month.

My SS was submitted on the 8th of Aug, still waiting to receive my AOR.

You can check ircc website for the requirements.

What is the requirements for a sponsor that doesn't relate to one's family

Go to your PR portal where you submitted the forms, download all the forms and documents you submitted to reconfirm if any form or document is missing. Though I learnt these things happens sometimes, Especially with this particular form.
The best thing is to quickly reapply. I’m sure your timeline will be lesser this time but ensure you include the rejection letter for the new application.

I am really confused, our spousal sponsorship visa application was rejected 3 months after submission for the following reason
Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344) not
included/missing.
Verify the form version is IMM 1344 06/2019.

How can they tell us IMM 1344 is missing when one cannot submit the spousal sponsorship application online without uploading IMM 1344
The version of the form available online is IMM 1344 (09-2022) E and that's what we submitted, IMM 1344 06/2019 is nowhere to be found
Please can someone help me understand what's going on and the way forward

I have only sent a mail to them but not webform. Did you try it out today? I hope this is not why they are delaying the ppr.

You can send webform and emails. It is very unusual how no one has gotten PPR in a very long time. except they are focusing on the visitor visa and it wont make sense.

We are on the same timeline.
I believe what we are waiting for right now is prearrival mail and PPR.
If all thing being equal and by God’s grace we will get them on or before October

I and my son just passed medicals. What next should I expect, my background is in progress. I added a newborn to my application early March but she hasn’t been added to my application yet, only got a message that they have verified the birth of my child and has been forwarded to the appropriate office. Basically what and what should I expect next and time frame ? Thanks

Spouse of PR holder that have the intention of flagpoling at the border for work permit should abort mission. You cannot flagpole at the border if your spouse is a PR. You can only apply online

What i faced today at the border points of entry, was a tough one. The officer asked me alot of questions, from my return ticket to what i do in Nigeria and how much i earn. I regretted ever going. at the end of the whole question he asked me to go apply online.

My only grace is that my return ticket date is still valid because I really don’t know what would have happened.

As God will have it, i got an update on my PR application today after 3months of silence.

I just got medical request today, so you should get your spouse pr medical request soon. Maybe you should call IRCC and ask if you will be exempted from your PR medicals since you have done it already. Heard it’s valid for a year, I believe it covers both applications, Goodluck sis
