Please guys i need an update on how long it takes to get stamped passport back after submission to vfs office

Someone mentioned it’s mostly 2weeks after submission n max 3weeks.
How true is this?

Please has anyone gotten medical request lately? Abeg i want to get it done before I travel to canada as my visiting visa has just been approved.

And if you applied for visiting, you can check your application portal. Ircc is dashing out PPR as we speak.

You both can track if you are using the application tracker option. He can simply share the login details with you.

It’s usually the UCI and password. But if you are trying to track using GCkey then two people can’t do it at the same time. The moment you link your application to your email, he will loose his access to track. Except he shares the login details with you as well as the security questions n answers.

Second application: 16 May 2022
Eligibility: 20th march
BVL: 10th April
Visa documents number: (I noticed this on the 16th of April)
Passport request: 19th April

I applied through an agent and it has been a battle with my agent in terms of following up with my application. I ordered gcms note on the 7th of march and it dropped on the 6th of April.
After my BVL dropped, i kept messaging the agent to send a mail as alot of people were testifying on the aftermath of sending emails. Agent ignored me but i kept pestering my husband also did. I asked myself what’s the worst that could happen if i send this email myself given that i have seen visa documents and expiry date? So I took up the courage to send the email yesterday (19th April) at 12 noon just with the same format as seen here. Later that night after work, i decided to check my Spousal sponsorship application for sny update on that, while checking that, i noticed an update was done on my visitors visa application but I couldn’t see any further info since I didn’t have access to the account. I decided to send another email before going to bed and just now, i got a call from the agent that my PPR dropped yesterday just when he was about to send an email as i was pestering him to.
My God is good and kind to me. He will come through for anyone that have been waiting upon him for their testimony.

I submitted my first application in 2021 and second in 2022.
I have been getting update for the second application and noticed recently that the first application has been withdrawn on the day I received bvl for the second application. I am just waiting for PPr now.

As you can see, it got updated yesterday 12th April 2023 meaning those that applied in 2021 (majority applicant) got their PPR yesterday which took them about 798 days to finalize their application. You get my point now

And yes 4 people I know got PPR yesterday and they all applied in 2021

I should have received mine too but got a message on my CIC portal (request letter) saying I should to submit and upload my new passport since the one they have on file is expired

Biometric: done for first application
Eligibility review : 20th March
Eligibility completed: 24th March
Cbsa ordered: March 4th
Cbsa received: April 6th
PPR: Coming this month by faith (awaiting)

All the update gotten so far are for my second application. The first has no update yet, i might withdraw it soon.

I ordered gcms note in January 5th and didn’t get any feedback. Then on the 4th of march I ordered cbsa after someone advised that this means is faster. However the feedback i got now was to the cbsa I ordered on the 4th of march So i can say it took a month.

My GCMS note just came in now and it has about 11 pages of some informations.

The eligibility says passed
Criminality: passed
Info sharing: complete
Counterfoil: Y

Does this mean i am waiting for just PPR? Or is there any other stage after this?

Our timeline are almost the same.
Application was submitted in Jan 18 and i am also waiting for medical request.

We linked with sponsor’s UCI first.
A week later after sponsor got eligibility passed i was able to link mine. Read through the trend between 16 to 24th of this month. @lekanlaniyan shared links on the 3ways to track your application.

Did you link your application using your UCI or your sponsor’s UCI? I’ve just gotten AOR which has my sponsors UCI and my application no. It’s been a week since we got AOR but no other nails yet.

That was what i saw. It was last updated on the 20th of March.

Because most visitor's visa applications changed statuses on the 10th of March.

It can take from a moment to some months.

People of God my tourist visa just entered eligibility stage since May 2022.

Please how long does this stage take before final approval.
I was almost about to withdraw the application since i have applied for spousal sponsorship. Now i want to know how long this eligibility takes for most applicant on this type of visa.

. Application received: Jan 18
2. AOR issued: March 8
3. Sponsor Approval: march 20
4. Biometrics completed : march 20


This is all I have so far. But my profile says there’s a request that needs an action sent to me but I didn’t get any message.

Why not drop a breakdown of your application and dates so far
Medical request comes from a month and two weeks after biometric instructions and you have a maximum of 30days from date of request to submit your medical

@lekan please while going through application history, the last update from ircc earlier this month stated that “we sent a message about your application read carefully and take appropriate action as necessary”
I didn’t get any message from them prior to now and I have been trying to sign up with my Uci all along but i was only able to do that this night and seeing this last update from them without me getting any email as regards this is getting me worried. My spouse eligibility is completed, my biometric is completed from my last (v application)

Do you think this message could be medical request?
Does this request only comes as a mail or is there any other way i can check this?

We can only track the application with his UCI but I haven’t received any email and neither can i track with my own details and sponsor eligibility has been completed.

You can try tracking your application, using the PR tracker. And you can get the link in the AOR email.

I got same incorrect information but we raised a webform the moment i saw the incorrect details. Tho it’s yet to be updated.

Hello house, thanks to everyone and to those who replied my previous question I am so grateful. I was able to link our accounts with the PR tracker but I noticed that most of sponsor’s info is not correct or missing like date of birth is wrong but on the principle applicant all info is correct. So my question is does it take sometime to update or should I send a web form. Thanks in advance
