The war in Ukraine has gone beyond Zelenskyy. It's a show of force, power and authority between Russia and the USA. Putin is still pained by the dismantling of the USSR, majorly by powers from the west, and he's doing all he can to lord over the baby countries that emerged from the USSR disintegration. A defeat to Ukraine, is a defeat to the USA. It's either the same USA will broker truce, or support Ukraine to expose Russia's weaknesses. Only time will tell. Russia couldn't defeat Ukraine in 3 weaks cos they are fighting NATO not ukraine
