Nvestor02: There is a saying that the internet never forgets. I was young when Obi was governor, and I decided to verify the performance of Peter Obi when he was ruling Anambra before succumbing to some Obidients who have been urging me to support their candidate since early September in my area.
When I conducted this intensive research, I was so disappointed with what I saw. Many Indigenes of Anambra are complaining about bad roads, poor healthcare, and a lack of electricity during his tenure.
Some of them, who cannot hold their anger anymore with his reckless style of ruling, are cursing him, while many people are complaining about the high level of insecurity in the state.
It doesn't take me too much time before I base my verification on the decision that Peter Obi was never a person to praise for the people of Anambra; he did the opposite of everything that he says.
lexylaw40: From bar Beach to Eko Atlantic : please if Tinubu can have this vision for Lagos as a governor and this project already manifesting as we speak please can you imagine what this man will do for Nigeria if elected the president. And have it in mind that this is just one example of his vision for Lagos State eg The Lekki Free zone project is nearing completion with Dangote Refinary Already completed, The Lekki Seaport already completed and now the New airport on the way and many more. You see by the time Dangote Refinary alone starts working Foreign investors will flood the Eko Atlantic begging Lagos for a plot, as you can see THE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA ALREADY BUILDING THE LARGEST US EMBASSY IN WORLD ON EKO ATLANTIC is a perfect example of what I'm trying to tell you. .... You see I go on and on . The man BOLA AHMED TINUBU IS THE MAN WITH THE VISION THAT WILL MOVE NIGERIA FORWARD.
Registeredguest: I'm a lady in my mid- twenties, I got married aged 22, (always wanted to marry early) on the second year of our marriage we were blessed with a baby, parked to our house and things were rosy. I have always been a workaholic due to that I have never lack as a young lady in terms of finance.
I have always helped him in his house projects, might not be much 100k, 50k, 20k when need be. I never siphoned my money to myself, as a young lady I envisioned my pretty little family on my head, (3 children, handsome husband and pretty wife with a fine car living happily)
Now to the main problem,I think it all started when he told me he has seen a genuine plot of land that we should buy it together, I told him no, I want the land all by myself I have money to pay for it, (just want to have something tangible for myself alone) he said no problem. He sent me an account number of the seller I sent 600k to the seller.we did the necessary documents and everyone was happy.
After some weeks, I decided to dig around his phone then I discovered that the account I sent the 600k to, refunded 200k back to my husband, woke him up instantly I demanded for an explanation.he story no make sense. I was heartbroken, for months I was hurt...the two families got involved and settled the issue.money I no see...
Ever since this issue happened, the home has not been peaceful, fighting everyday. I find it so difficult to forgive him. I insult him, he insults me, he broke my phone, I break his door...I was demanded for an apology he says "I'm his wife, no be today man dey collect him wife money, he say woman go build house for him husband no ear no go hear" those things hurt me more... everyday was fight, I parked out,I went to my sister's place,he didn't call, he didn't reach out.
3 weeks after I parked I discovered I was pregnant, and informed him immediately through text.i stayed at my sister's place for 2 months no word from him... I decide to rent my own place,I rented a place and went to his house to park my remaining stuff,I meet him home,as soon as he sees I came with a truck to park my things he knelt down and started begging me...I was like,na today I commot for your house why now? He say he think say I dey play, he no think say I serious like this, for good two months you didn't say anything why now...with enough dragging I parked my things to my new rented apartment... since the day I park till now this man has not allowed me rest, his family members has been calling me to come back home, his dad came from the village to plead on his behalf.
My dad is insisting I should not go back...I'm now 6 months pregnant ,I need a father in my children's life.im finding it difficult to forgive him,I'm struggling within myself to forgive and trust this man again.
How can I let go of the past and move back with him...I decided to pay him a visit on Friday,he was happy I came,he did everything possible to show me he has changed but that feeling of betrayal and hurt is there.i left there this morning with querrell,I know I started the querrell, but I can't just seem to forgive him.please I need your help and advice on this pressing issue of mine.
ajexx: Tinubu’s Church Rat Reference to Climate Change Isn't Wrong
By Farooq Kperogi
I frankly don’t get what people are mocking in Bola Tinubu’s characterization of climate-change policies for poor countries as “a question of how do you prevent a church rat from eating poisoned Holy Communion.”
Tinubu merely deployed familiar ecclesiastical metaphors to capture the dilemma that developing countries face over the dire existential adjustments that climate change policies require of them.
He used “church rat” to symbolize a poor nation (Nigerian English speakers often say “as poor as a church rat” where native English speakers say “as poor as a church mouse” to indicate extreme poverty) and “Holy Communion” to acknowledge the desirability of climate-change policies.
But he qualified the “Holy Communion” as “poisoned” to suggest that it’s a bitter pill to swallow.
In other words, climate-change policies are good (i.e., they’re Holy Communion), but they’re injurious (thus, “poisoned”) to a “church rat” (i.e., poor nations like Nigeria) in the short term because they require the kinds of self-denying sacrifices (such as stopping the use of firewood to cook, cutting down on manufacturing, etc.) that will hurt poor nations.
If a church rat eats poisoned Holy Communion it will die, or be seriously sick, in spite of the holiness of the communion.
Tinubu was basically saying he acknowledged that climate-change policies are great but that implementing them will come at a great cost to Nigeria because Nigeria is poor and ill-prepared.
He was expressing a cruder, less direct, more literary version of the sentiments that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed in November 2015 when he said rich Western nations “with luxury of choices should sharply reduce emissions” and not burden poor nations like India that didn’t create the problem.
“But [climate change] is not of our making,” Modi said. “It is the result of global warming that came from prosperity and progress of an industrial age powered by fossil fuel.”
Fool why didn’t he use the Koran ? Why use the holy communion
We do we always twist things in this country ? Court said they shouldn’t convene in Lekki tow gate , not that they shouldn’t match. I support labor too, but we need to always set the record straight
Armaggedon: The joke is on you. They won't accept ukraine at war but they accept Ukraine's war and pomp in weapons. moreover, Nato Doesn't recognize those territories as being disputed.
Go to NATO website and read what it takes to join NATO, I don’t have time for argument
francisobiabo: I wish you would correct his take without nosediving to tantrums. American military is not special in anyway but the nuclear weapons. Aside the ragtag Nigerian Army, a determined set of Nigerian youth would do better than the American Army in the game of warfare (be it guerilla or conventional). We've seen how powerful America is in Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia....
Dude u are a fool . Your hatred for USA is preventing from saying the truth
Peter obi said he will fix Nigeria security challenges. So Adams is asking: Did Peter obi fix security challenges in Anambra State as a governor for 8 years?
Oga politics apart ,go and ask anybody in anambra during obi tenure , he had security A1
Nwaide01: This is a capital lie,AVS was established by Obi and during his tenure armed robbery and kidnapping was non existence in the state until Buhari happens and music changed.
Very correct Peter Obi had A1 in security , there was nothing like kidnapping , very community had vigilante ,this idiitoc called Adam's should shut up
Why is it that the same period from 2006 to 2014, that Peter Obi was Governor of Anambra, coincided with the prevalence of drug trafficking by Anambra youths?
It got so bad that Narcotics officers in Asian countries became aware that in Africa there is a tribe called Igbo and a state called Anambra.
Infact one Asian officer was very direct and said why is it always Igbos all the time giving Africa a bad name.
The majority of such Igbos were from Anambra who wanted to escape hardship in the state run by Peter Obi that was saving money rather than create jobs.
Many became destitute in Lagos and Fashola had to return them to Anambra so that Peter Obi will take care of them, instead Peter Obi got angry that Fashola gave him Anambra problem to solve. Meanwhile same Peter Obi had earlier returned Northerners, Akwa-Ibom and Ebonyi natives back to their state.
Very mediocre fellow who failed in Anambra and wants to nationalise his failure.
So peter OBi is the Nadac boss now ? U black people are idots without brains
emmanuelbrown26: I hv stopped commenting on 2023 elections both online and offline, but ur comment caught my attention. OmoManU: If an old man seems to be the better candidate what’s wrong with that or when has an old age become a curse? An 85 year old man ruled Malaysia and delivered.
