What stupid freedom? Taiwan is and has always been a part of China. No country in the world, including the US, recognises Taiwan as an independent country.

The US suddenly has interest in a sovereign Taiwan because most of the chips used in Smartphones and modern cars come from TSMC in Taiwan.

Pull your head out of the butthole of woke american narcissists like Pelosi and the American media.

Side note, Sri Lanka destroyed it's economy by buying into the bullshit climate change gospel from the west. Hopefully, Africa doesn't make the same mistake.

Throwback:
Someone once opined on this forum, that this David Hundeyin is actually hollow and shallow.

I now believe by the above tweet he made.

Is it just today that David is knowing that Nigeria supports a lot of our West African neighbours with financial grants and material support, aside from the many bilateral pacts we have with these ECOWAS neighbours?

Did the government tell him they were hiding anything, such that he is calling it "brazen" and "daring" for being legally budgeted for?

What manner of hysterical journalism is this anarchist trying to push to his mob of fellow hate group members?

Even if Peter Obi is voted President, Nigeria will still continue to support our neighbouring countries, one way or another, and they will be budgeted just as this "discovery" from an idle mind that serves the devil well.

RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Broke Up With Me Because I Got A High Paying Job by malel1: 1:49pm On Jun 03, 2022
julie90:
I have been working for this company for two years. In December 2021, there was a change in management, a new manager was assigned to my Department. Before the change in management, I applied for some jobs in November 2021 but I didn't get any response.

Things between my new manager and I developed really quickly (he is not married and he is 10 years older than me). Although we have been working together, when he became the new manager we started dating. it was mutual, it wasn't like he forced me. We liked each other and we started dating in March 2022. We kept things professional in the office. Nobody in the office knows about this even till now.

Those companies I applied to in November 2021 reached out to me for an interview. I got two offers at the same time. Both offers come with great pay (similar to what my boyfriend currently earns) and a significant boost to my career. I spoke to my boyfriend about it and being my boss he told me to reject both offers, he told me he would be able to cater for my needs that the only commitment he has now is paying for his house and once he is done paying for it, he would have more money to take care of me and I didn't need a job where they would pay me what he's currently earning and be in a role similar to his.

I told him it's not the money but it would be about moving up the ladder in my career. These are offers people do not have, now I have two, he is asking me to reject them. He told me even if I have to move the only offer I should take is the one close to the company where we work which has a lower pay compared to the second offer. I told him I would go with the second offer which has more opportunities for me. Both offers are in the same state although my preferred offer is a bit far from where I live but it is still a reasonable location to commute everyday. At one point he told me, I was too ambitious and I took it as a compliment.

I noticed he changed since then, he informed the company management that I was leaving and we began the handover process, I noticed he changed after we had the discussion about me accepting the second offer but I thought it was about him missing me. May 31 was my last day and I noticed few days to my last day he was acting strange so I asked him what the matter was. He said he doesn't feel anything for me and we should stop seeing each other.

This is a man that was really excited when we were dating, all of a sudden doesn't feel anything for me because I got a high paying job? Is it wrong for a woman to be ambitious? When has it become a crime for a woman to aim high in her career? My role will still be to support him. I have never been rude to him and I am not going to be rude to him because we now earn the same salary. I really like him and I feel disappointed that he could act this way.

Is it now a crime for a woman to be ambitious?

Just look at how your elderly leaders like Kalu, Ngige, Umahi etal are disgracing themselves to know even elders amongst Igbos, like you, cannot be expected to have wisdom.

In your idiotic and hateful desperation to malign the SW you dare mention the North? Same North that took over from GEJ, after a few years of Yaradua, to get 8 years through Buhari?

Yet the very same region is currently angling uncompromisingly today to get another 8 years from 2023 through Atiku, Tambuwal, Kwankwaso and many others!!!

That does not bother you hate-filled clowns at all. Afterall you can take all manners of humiliation from your slave masters.

Umahi confessed he decamped from PDP because he knew the Party had no intention of being fair to Igbos yet no anger about thst revelation from any Igbo. It is always Yoruba this and Yoruba that!!!

You should tell us why the great Igbo hope Obi left PDP if not that the North has shown him that the PDP ticket is only for a Northerner regardless of what Obi or any other Southerner does.

You people are not livid with that development with Obi yet everything is about Yoruba "wrongdoing" alone for you insufferable hate-mongers.

Yorubas really need to wise up and start detaching themselves from Igbos. You lot are too malevolently and unobjectively hateful of the Yoruba people to even be near us.

Only a foolish and highly ignorant Yoruba will not know the truth about Igbos in this day and age and with all that virtually every single Igbo has been showing since Tinubu and Osinbajo declared to run under the APC, as they are fully entitled to, and with no prominent Yoruba running under the PDP.

I am even surprised you children of hate, whether young or elderly, have not started a thread blaming Yorubas for Obi and Abaribe's decision to leave PDP.
Oga iGBos dont have problem with osibanjo , but ur tinubu cant be nigeria president , instead let them give it to GEJ .

This is the bitterness that made Ojuku sacrifice millions of your ancestors to the fulani god. Na why they use the foolish Ekueme to create PDP and still impose OBJ on the erosion ravaged muddy region.

Na same reason why they bring Ojuku from exile and use him to impose Shagari before they later dumped his flatty head and he died singing one Nigeria.

Na same reason why Azikiwe the vagabond played second fiddle to Balewa who later repaid him by slaughtering over 3thousand of his loudmouthed erosion ravaged minions in the North. We understand.

Na same reason why they the fulani used the senile Ojuku to stop Adaka Boro from secession only to turn around to suyanise the Biafla people until the man ran away disguised like a woman after the fulas baby factorilize his people.

100% correct response start to finish. Yorubas know their worth and will demand it. Yorubas have the leverage and importance to gain what they demand also.

Regardless of how some ascribe mythical political superiority to the North, the reality is that the North cannot go it alone, to do as they please regardless of serious damage done to others, without causing lingering resentment and political bad blood that will destroy a currently very fragile and divided Nigeria.

The North can never impose GEJ on the APC to the detriment of Yorubas no matter how desperate they are to have a southern stooge replace PMB.

GEJ will never ever be the candidate of the APC because the APC does not belong to Buhari and his minions. It is merely their franchise for 8 years.

We are already in the final year of the 8. The biggest fool in Nigeria is anyone, like IPOBians, who thinks many wont fight Buhari to a standstill to prevent him destroying the APC he will then be free to walk away from next year after creating a big mess for many .

With the recent event, rumour and body language of president buhari on the possibility of adopting Jonathan as the consensus candidate of APC, I consider it as an act of trackery and ungrateful situation. Only God destine a man for greatness but you will still need the support of people to attain specific position.
Buhari had earlier contested presidential elections three times and lost. Some eminent personalities in opposition parties(ACN, ANPP, nPDP and APGA) came to your rescue, stood by you, drafted resources and ensure you became the president. Why will you forget how they helped you to defeat a sitting president? Can you just look back and think over it again. Why not extend the same support to these people instead of rubbing Jonathan on their faces? Are you trying to play smart by foisting Jonathan on Nigeria so that he can do a single term and return power to the north or you are looking for a weak candidate that Atiku can defeat easily so that power remains in the North.
The treatment given to MKO still linger in the memory of the southwesterners and recent event suggest you want to also play Tinubu despite the effort he played in APC primaries against Atiku and your eventual emergence as president. People should note that Tinubu was an opposition leader then and bringing down Jonathan govt is without apology but for APC to be considering Jonathan as APC candidate is one of the wonders of the 21st century. Why allow aspirants to be touring various states canvassing for delegates when you already know they are going nowhere? Why not allow for primaries so that the best candidate will emerge? Why trying to foist an unpopular candidate on your party and expect unity in the party? Even if you have a preferred candidate, why not pick your deputy, or Amaechi or Umahi? These are tested politicians that can bring a rapid turnaround in Nigeria. These set of leaders are decisive, brave, sound, and good thinker who also have human feelings. People are watching what the north is working towards but if the north thinks they are smart by using divide and rule against the south, they should not forget that future alliance is been threatened and the south will never trust them again.
.
Oga calm down , it's not only southwest that brought buhari in .
You southwest people will never learn , history is always repeating itself were u people are .

IslamRe: These Are RED Lines That Must Not Be Crossed By Muslims! by malel1: 2:02pm On May 20, 2022
Lukgaf:
The Muslim community, like every other is guided by certain sacred principles which members are obligated to hold high and guard jealously. These sacred principles are RED LINES that must NOT be crossed even by bonafide members of the community. It amounts to sacrilege and desecration of the Muslim faith to do so.

The reason for this strict standards is that these RED LINES are the superstructure upon which the Muslim faith is founded. An attack on them shakes the foundation of Islām to its very root and calls to question the validity of the Muslim faith. It's worse than burning the IPOB flag on the street of Anambra or Imo while making derogatory remarks about Ojukwu/ Nnamdi Kanu. In fact, it is worse than walking into Sambisa during the active days of Boko Harām to challenge Shekau to a fight. Faith is NOT akin to comedy or entertainment. It's what people live for. It's what they hope to reap from in the next life.

Some of these RED LINES are:
1. Insulting Allāh سبحانه وتعالى: An attack on Allāh whom Muslims worship is an attempt to ridicule the basis of their existence and faith. Passing derogatory remarks, making mockery of His names and Attributes, denying His Names and Attributes, comparing Him to His creatures, reducing Him to a mere entity, etc, are some of the things to avoid when describing Him. He is NOT an idol. He's not the Ka'abah that Muslims circumambulate during Tawāf. He is Allāh, to be described ONLY by the attributes that He has given Himself.

2. Desecrating the Qur'ān: The Qur'ān is NOT a creature of Allāh like us humans. It is the eternal word of Allāh, revealed to the Prophet ﷺ through Angel Jibrīl and preserved in its original form since its revelation till date by divine protection. It has not and CANNOT be corrupted in the least. Twisting its meaning, tearing it, burning it, stepping on it, denying its authenticity, etc as we have witnessed bigots do in the past is ridiculous and provocative.

3. Insulting the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ: In recent times, no personality: political or religious has been attacked unjustly and without provocation as Muhammad ﷺ. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the symbol of Islām and its most revered figure. He's NOT the originator or founder of Islām as wrongly asserted by some prominent Orientalists. In fact, there's NOTHING like Mohammedanism in the Islamic literature. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sent to continue the propagation of messages of the previous prophets before him. Allāh says:

قُلْ مَا كُنتُ بِدْعًا مِّنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ

"I am no novelty (either in my person or in the message I have brought) among the Messengers." (Q.46:9)
Just like the Jews and Christians hold Moses and Jesus in high esteem respectively, believing that no one can reach God or attain salvation but through them, Muslims hold Muhammad ﷺ so dearly that not even their parents equal him in reverence. Obedience to him without question is a religious obligation commanded in the Qur'ān. Loving him unconditionally is the key to salvation. Relating with those that love and revere him and severing ties with those who hate and ridicule him, irrespective of their status is a sign of perfection and validity of faith.
Thus, insulting him, making fun of him, reducing him to a caricature, falsifying his statements, deliberate lying against him, etc, are very dangerous lines that must NEVER be crossed.

4. Ridiculing the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ: These were men and women who shed tears, blood and sweat to protect the nascent faith in its advent, learn its principles and practices, preserve and pass it to posterity. The Sahābah represent the best generation of people after the Prophet ﷺ. They recorded and reported the Qur'ān as well as the Prophet's Traditions which form the basis of the Sharī'ah. Thus, doubting their credibility and ridiculing them in whatever form is tantamount to uprooting Islām from its very foundation.

5. Destroying the Masjid: the Masjid (mosque) is the central area designed for the worship of Allāh. It's a holy and sacred place. It's sanctity goes beyond its mere structure. It's a symbolic representation Islām as a religion. Apart from being a worship center, it's an educational institution, a spiritual, physical and moral training ground for the Muslims as well as a rallying point for collective duties in the interest of the faith and the state.

It only takes understanding and respect for a people's cherished and valued interests, love for peace and security as well as desire for harmonious coexistence to maintain civility and decorum around these while interfacing with each other in a multi-faith society. The incessant penchant for disrespecting others' culture and faith needs to be addressed in order to avoid all these unnecessary altercations and bloodshed.

I am a fortysomething man in a long-term relationship – nearly 20 years – and have two children. For the past 10 years my partner has been having short-term lovers. These were clandestine, but more recently she has stopped hiding, called our relationship “open”, and currently has a lover who I do know about. But this “open relationship” can only be one-sided, because she is jealous and suspicious while I am basically not polyamorous. So why stay together? We get on, communicate well (other than the no-go zone of her other love life), rarely argue, are bonded by bringing up our children and are financially tied together.

However, the years of suppressing my emotions – of jealousy, rejection, insecurity, being lied to – have left me broken. Sex (which we still occasionally do have) has become stressed: if I don’t perform enthusiastically, it will justify her seeking other lovers. Also, I am expected to remain sexually attracted to her, which gets more difficult when I know she’s been with someone else recently. We had frank talks when she offered to end her extramarital affairs and be monogamous with me – or plan how we might separate without affecting our children. We were both very upset, as we are very much still in love, and wish the sex side of our relationship wasn’t such a terrible mess.

But it has occurred to me that I am emotionally and sexually broken after this past decade. If I was single again – or my partner was to become monogamous with me again – I don’t think I would be a viable person to be in a relationship with. How do I start to repair myself, inside or outside this relationship?

Any advice would be cool.

Just go through the comments and you'll understand why he did this, the bastard are asking him to beg for Mercy for saying the killing of Deborah is wrong. Hah!!

These ones might even stone him during campaign sef. It's so sad that it's people with this kind of brain that I share a country with, if I ever become president, I'll use diseases, war and viral infection to wipe out two-thirds of theirp population. Nigeria needs it!
