Also my question is directed to ntelassist not you. Prof did i reply u? i quoted ntelassist not u, plus we are saying the same thing |
Science/Technology › Re: Need Support For Ntel Products And Services? Hit Me Up Here!!!! by malikalhaj: 5:58pm On May 01, 2017 |
ntelassist: The speed is not 65kb after FUP.. but you need to know that several factors affect your speed including your destination and source locations/capacity to push or pull data. This is not true, there have been loads of people complaining about 65KB/s after FUP, you can't tell me they all have the same destination and source location blah blah blah |

chiefoyibo: Don't get me wrong, it's not completely perfect, sometimes even if you are on the fast internet, it might fluctuate, the speeds might go down for a few minutes, but overall it is like the good old days when they just started. I hope they will invest more in Lagos and provide better service. It is nice to see another Nigerian company actually trying to enter the game, investing INSIDE Nigeria, not outside...you should support your companies more, give them second chance. Not true, when they first started I was getting an average of 58mbps, so u getting 16mbps for 20k is not good enough |

toluxa1: Is this NTEL? Spectranet toluxa1: I need someone to categorically confirm if the night plan is not subject to the cap and throttling. Anyone using it? If u are asking about spectranet they reduce their speed to 10mb/s for their night plan. |

toluxa1: Please be informed that the Smartphone Night Plans become active from 10:00PM to 06:00AM for the Lite, weekly and monthly bundle respectively.
Kindly note that the bundle can be activated at any time but only takes effect at the active periods. Find below the cost of the mentioned night plans:
* Smartphone Unlimited Lite - N500 * Smartphone Unlimited Weekly - N1500 * Smartphone Unlimited Monthly - N5000.
I asked if it's subject to the 3GB cap and throttling and they said No, it is not. if the bolded part is true, i am all up for it. looks good and not expensive but i don't trust them |

oyb: I think someone needs to take these guys to CPC for false representation. All the providers.
They run around shouting unlimited, but they all have limits.
Ntel 'unlimited' is basically 90gb per month. End of. A plan that gives you 3gb per day is not unlimited. I cannot even download win 10 creators update with that. I cannot stream a full season on Netflix.
I am just coming from smile, who have said their unlimited lite has a daily cap of 1.5gb.
At Spectranet right now to find out their own unlimited cap
They offer unlimited night plan but they throttle the speed to 10mbps (as at 6months ago), u might think it's cool cos outside 1-7am u will get like 30 - 40 Mbps (my area) but to me any network throttling speed gets me mad, I might have to go back to using swift. I enjoyed ntel while it lasted. |

oyb: 10mb/s?
I used Spectranet for two years. The best I got was 3mb/s
Their throttling was 50kb/s
When I went to their office to complain, they admitted throttling, but claimed it was to 500kb/s
If Spectranet intend to continue their throttling policy, then they must be extremely confident. It was the throttling that made me leave them.
All the scheduling wahala on J Downloader, the waking up or staying up to ensure the rapid gator or uploaded downloads have started, all thwarted.
I want to believe they have learned their lesson, but this is Naija after all
Meanwhile, if you hear the Ntel ads on the radio.. apart from this last sunday, Ntel has been ok for me since they stopped that stupid cloudflare nonsense, its cool if i need to download, on PC i get 1.5-3 MB/s on X1 i get an average of 10mb/s so i really can't complain much and i know its unlimited not like mumu spectranet |

amblors: i heard someone on twitter say its blazing fast in PH. I've heard so much bad news here about the network i decided to go with spectranet. ntel was fluctuating on my phone with 1800mhz. made my decisions easier. Unlimited for 10k was pretty tempting though. currently enjoying my spectranet. then i guess u can help me, do they throttle your speed by 1am to 10mb/s? cos the last time i paid i normally get 25-30 on my X1 but by 1am (free browsing) my speed gets throttled to 10mb/s that was Y i stopped paying |
Phones › Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by malikalhaj: 7:40pm On Mar 30, 2017 |
alt3r3g0: Dont try it. Yes its unlimited but the speed is too slow that by the time the month is over, you would have used less than 10gb if at all. Would have recommended glo but not sure they are in ph. Stick to spectranet for now or get mtn thats 5k for 20gb. Are u in PH or u are just talking about ur own location? |

oyb: i suspect they are throttling. i have full bars and i STILL have 100kb/s and below this has been going on for over 48 hours now. maybe its ur location, used on my console yesternight and the speed was quite good. console is always slower than IDM

PoisonedOne: Ntel that has less than two thousand subscribers are having network issues. They have the worst staffs from what I have experienced so far, they're only interested in selling their lines to people but don't bother about customers' satisfaction. They're yet to activate the sim I bought from them in early October 2016. I've gone to there office at Ikeja twice for it but the lady that sold it to me seems unreliable and not ready to help me. I've lost hope in their network. If guns were legalized in this country i would've shot all of them in that office, as for the girl that sold it for me, I would make sure that I shoot her and her spirit too. source?? i agree that some of their CC agents are bad but that's also the same for all the other telcos, i damaged my sim card 3 months back, could not even do a SIM retrieval and i had 1k on that sim, had to purchase another |
