I worked as SPO during 2015 elections in one of the south south states. We waited from morning till night, no movement. We slept at the inec office. Na for morning we move.

Na only two things fit cause the delay;

- logistics not fully ready, or
- security reasons.

I'll advise you start getting ready to sleep in inec office. That's harzard of the job.

Same thing with me. When I served in Calabar and worked as PO of a polling unit we received everything both sensitive and non sensitive but our my SPO advised we move in the morning. We have to spend the night in INEC office. It was fun sha because we ate the sumptuous food prepared for top INEC officials and police men. When they found out they were livid with anger especially the police men but they couldn't do anything to us because we were all copers. Lwkmd because of the way those top INEC officials and police men were pacing up and down cursing under their breath when they discovered we ate their well prepared fried rice with moi moi and chicken. Omo no be small thing o. I wonder how it would have ended if we weren't copers.
