Passport Submission Information.

For Lagos Office:

Walk into any DHL or UPS store; you can google & check for the one's near you.

This is the address you will mail your documents to:

Canada Visa Application Centre
Ground Floor, The Manor
Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Lekki Phase 1
Lagos
Nigeria

Documents to go with to the DHL Office:

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International Passport itself
- Passport request letter
- Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics)
-Two copies of signed VFS consent forms
-Note the 990 SMS fee is compulsory. Pay it as well to the same account.

The VFS consent form is available at https://www./vfsconsentform.

Put everything in a Big Brown Envelope,

Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly

You may indicate you want a two-way courier service when you go to DHL. Then provide them with the address you want your passport sent to when ready.

For Abuja Office:

Put all the documents below in an envelope and send them to:

Visa Application Centre

Documents:
-2 duly signed consent forms.
-2 copies of the passport data page
-Passport Request Letter

My husbands visa was finally approved today after 9 months. Got BVL on 12th April, and Approval today 19th April. We applied since 16th July 2023. We were planning on sending an email today with the format I shared but no need now. Glory be to God

Old portal, have never used new portal even with i applied for my student visa and work permit. This application is for my husband though, it was the old portal but i sent webform everyday Monday - Friday for 3 weeks in march to London and Nairobi.

Please i have a question, the travel date on that application submitted was October for my flight ticket however, I had to open the ticket and cancel the hotel reservation done as the application from July 16th is still being processed, please what do i do? I can't spend money buying a new ticket again, i opened the current one i have but they can't issue me another ticket until i have a travel date and seeing that the application is still being processed, i don't want to spend more money choosing a date and i don't even know when the visa would be issued. I don't even know if i should make another hotel reservation, but i don't even have a travel date because i don't know how long the visa processing will take. Please can someone advise me?

Thank you for the reply, however we haven't done the civil marriage, just traditional. Is there any other way since at the time he applied, it was not as a married person? How else do you think we can follow up?

I think you should send them a long emotional message and attach your proof of address and enrollment letter if you are a student..it did work for me ooo cos under 24 hours approval came.tho hubby didn’t do Medicals cos it’s visitors visa.

My husband applied for visit visa since July 6th 2022, I got GCMC notes December 21st 2022, it says medical is passed, criminality passed but eligibility hasn't started. I called IRCC today 28th February, still says eligibility hasn't started and background check hasn't started. What does this mean, what do I do? How long does it take the eligibility and background process to start please? Any advice would be helpful. Thank You

No it isn't. I haven't had to do any in all my recent travels, most recent being 2 weeks ago.

It means there are no appointments at the time you checked. Is this for fresh visa or IW? If IW, join a group it will be easier and faster to get a date. If for fresh, still join the group.

Thank you for the reply Flourishing, attached is what I have been getting since I tried to register though. Same thing yesterday and today.

You can only check for appointments max of 3x daily and it must be hours apart. If you check too often your profile might be frozen for the day or for 72hrs.

Those with good travel history to some countries in (M5) and have studied their...
To the VO it seems like travel to this countries outweighs the choice of program and level of study.. even when previous study and experience does not relate to choice of program...application is approved! If other eligibility is met
For applicants that has not travelled before where previous study/experience does not relate to choice of program application can be refused instantly...
This brings me to the conclusion that choice of program is only used to checkmate applicants who want to flee the country from developing countries...by the VO

I can email you but just like @Bobomaigida said, our stories are different, but you can use it as a guide.
