The brief, challenges, and victories. Let’s call it our little love story, so stay with us! How it started We got the brief to design Name tags, table tags, roll up banner and Magazine for Go Global Africa 2019 program happening in 48 hours. Go Global Africa 2019 was slated for 8-2-2019. We were given barely 40 hours to get them done. Now, maybe that wouldn’t be a reason for concern if we are not very particular about delivering masterpieces to our client but we know better. We know in order for us to deliver the masterpiece we have sworn oaths to deliver, we have to give more, do more and go the extra miles. How Important is what we built Go Global Africa was established in 2012 to promote and highlight positive developments in SSA with a special focus on Trade and Investment. Go Global Africa explores the various business opportunities available in the different SSA countries through the assistance of their representative embassies based in the United States. This was a global designed, we dare not mess up. So, on behalf of all Nigerians, we hope we made you proud. How we came up with the designs They wanted a map kind of design to link all the cities together but we had a better idea. We shared this idea with them and they loved it. We decided it will be better to describe each city with a significant structure particular and unique to each country. And that was the beginning of the beautiful outcomes we got. Montessori’s research into child development, and subsequent findings about how to create the optimal learning environment, came to form the foundations of the ‘Montessori Method’. Essential to the Montessori Method, is the Montessori Curriculum, which is a child-centred learning framework that incorporates holistic learning outcomes tailored to each individual child’s developmental needs and interests. Language Language materials are designed to enhance vocabulary and explore both written and spoken language. Through language-based activities, such as the sandpaper letters and the movable alphabet, children learn phonetic sounds and how to compose words phonetically. They progress using concrete materials to compose their own written work, read the work of others, and learn to communicate their unique thoughts and feelings. Culture Cultural activities lead the child to experience music, stories, artwork and items from the child’s community, society and cultural background. The areas of geography, science, zoology and botany are all included in this area. A range of globes, puzzle maps and folders containing pictures from different countries all help to give the child an insight into different cultures. The culture area encourages children to develop their capacity for creation, and develop fine motor skills. Whilst learning to freely express themselves.
