ninab:It happened to me. We tried renewing our Visas via dropbox and were asked to come in for an interview. We were just asked to bring our sons passport. Only myself and hubby attended the interview and we took along our son's passport. I was going for childbirth and declared this and we were all granted our Visa's. At the interview we just explained to the VO that we were asked to bring our sons passport. Hope this answers your question. |
Lisaosato:There are actually 2 different types of birth certificate. At my Visa interview, the VO specifically warned me not to put a US address on the birth certificate. Having this in mind, i put my Nigerian address on the request for the birth certificate and the US address for postal address. However, because the birth certificate didn't come in early by post, i went down to the county office to request for another one. The lady that attended to me asked if i wanted the detailed one or the other one (cant remember how she referred to it). I asked for the detailed one and i got the one that shows addresses, basically all my detail and it had my Nigeria address. When the one i requested by post came later, it was the other type that shows just the names of the baby and parents. There was no address on it. So i have 2 birth certificates in 2 different format The way the VO admonished the need to use my Nigeria address, i jejely just adhered. |
You can use the mutual funds statement. That was what i used last year, in order to be comfortable with it, I also got a letter from my funds manager stating that the fund is available to me to me as soon as i request for it. I think that will help also. Just attach the letter to the mutual funds statement. Liquidating the funds to an account, will mean that you will just have a lump sum dropping into your account, which is usually suspicious. Funjay: |
