I just hope your gear is not affected yet. Let me look for the manual of your car to see the required oil type.

Get Honda ATF-DW1. alternatively get Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Universal.

I prefer Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Universal though.

Please I need help. I drive a Honda Accord 2001 model(Baby Boy), I had issues with my Ignition switch which I bought another one,which the rewire removed some part of the new ignition switch and coupled it with the faulty one,the car worked.
I wasn't there when he did the fix,so he said he drove the vehicle and he noticed it was not selecting properly and advised I top up the gear oil which we did immediately while the car was still on,mind you I haven't used any oil since September 2024 that I bought the car, so I used power steering oil in the red container which wasn't enough, so the rewire brought Dextron III for Highlander SUV which we used to fill up.

When I tried to drive off some 10minutes after, the car couldn't move when put on Drive but reverses fine. When I switched off and start the car again,it drives but it was dragging when am not speeding and it making noise when it changes from one gear to the other which the car doesn't do before.

I have scanned the car and what it brought is this:

Please what can I do to solve this problem,I have managed to drive to my mechanic's place. Which Gear oil works best for the Car and is readily available please?

Good day my people. I finally got the Acura TSX 2005/2005.

I figured the right front shock absorber is bad and I'll want to get the pair.

Which one is preferable to buy; new or tokunbo. Any recommendation will be helpful. Any contact of a part seller that sells genuine Honda and Acura parts will also be helpful.

they are good cars. i drive an 08 TSX and it has been quite dependable. never failed me.
I asked about your former car because you bought that car same period i bought this TSX in 2022 april.

The car developed transmission issues hence I sold it.
I abused the car a lot though. It was my first so I learnt a lot from it.

Recommended charge has nothing to do with cell quality.

Charging and discharge is BMS based.

You can use 100A BMS on 280AH cells. You are only limiting the potential power output.

You can also use 200A BMS on 280AH, this will provide more power.

Cworth used same BMS on both their 100ah Cells and 300ah cells, recommend charge current is 50A. Now do the maths

Bro I don't agree with you. It has everything to do with the quality of cells used. How would a manufacturer recommend 0.13C for a 314ah battery? When e go full with this recommendation?

If the cells have quality they wouldn't be limiting it with 100a BMS.
