emyfine08: Thanks for reminding me. their two things my engineer told me that will be the case 1, maybe the battery is not charging well 2 the load management so he advise me to upgrade to 48v because of our load on it, for the reason I can not open it to reconfigure it we decided to sell it off. Am not explain all this things to convince anybody but I the situations now I think this your explanation is causing more damage. |

Compliant: Thesame felicity lithium battery that you were complaining few days ago that it does not last?
Now you are saying reason for selling is because you upgraded to 48v?
Kindly let the prospective buyer know the issue so as to make a profound decision
Thank you Busted |

KudozInteriors: Also, please I already have 2 Canadian panels of 550 watts each and they both produce 75volts as detected by the inverter. The installer said that 75 volts is small for 2pcs of 550watts panel and that the panels are not really 550 watts as written on them because of the volts. Please how true is this?
I want to add 2 extra 550w panels though.
Thank you so much! I don't know the kind of panels you have but in an ideal situation most panels like jinko and cworth 550W should give you around 42V each, amounting to 84V for the both of them. |

Bruteality1: Good evening. Is there a 7.5kwh battery on 24v for my 4.2kva inverter? I don't want to change my inverter but want to buy the lithium battery with a higher capacity. Is it possible cos the ones I'm seeing is 5kwh on 24v. Yes there is. Deriy has 7.2kwh |

Decentlyproud: Can this actually power 1hp inverter air-conditioner? Guy, you wan insult this inverter? Something wey I dy use iron and microwave at the same time. Traditional Philips iron of 1.2KW and panasonic microwave. What is 1hp of 0.75KW. Highest the surge can be 2KW on start up. You should be concerned about your battery bank. |

meohio7777: Greetings everyone,
I've quietly followed these threads and thank the knowledgeable contributors for their valuable insights.
I am researching on behalf of my dad, who plans to switch to solar power for his home. He recently received a vague quote that is missing several key details.
I have encountered reputable brands such as Growatt, SRNE, and Victron and would like to choose a quality brand that will stand the test of time for this project.
I am also open to connecting with someone trustworthy and genuinely interested in managing and executing this installation.
Kindly post your contribution here. I have attached the quote for everyone's review.
The location is Epe, Lagos.
Here is a list of appliances that need to be powered: 1. Fridge and freezer (1 unit) 2. Freezers (3 units) 3. Borehole pump (1) 4. Room fans (4) 5. Parlor fans (2) 6. Dining room fan (1) 7. Children's parlor fan (1) 8. Televisions (2) 9. Washing machine (1) 10. Water heater (1) 11. Game console (1) 12. Numerous light bulbs 💡
Additionally, we plan to purchase four solar light poles for the front and back of the house.
Thank you for your assistance! Before senior men chuk mouth put make I first condemn the battery type that I'm seeing in that quotation. |

munchies: Good morning. I need assistance to connect this as I'm trying to connect it myself. The circled part, should I cut off the mc4 connectors and join it with the solar cable? Thank you. No try am. If not, that'll be your first point of failure. Get an MC4 connector and attach to the solar cable instead. |

Amyah: Good morning, everyone. Please, I need some advice or information concerning an issue.
I have a 2.5kva inverter system that was installed November, 2024. All was well until Feb/March 2025. My inverter now trips off once the sun goes down after about like 5-6 hours of use.
When I charge it with nepa, it reaches 14.6, one time I noticed it even reached 14.7. But once I unplug it from the charge, it drops to 12.6 and then drops further to 12.4 before further depleting until 10.something.
Please, what do I do? I'm so exhausted What battery type are you using? |

omotoda: I am not sure the wait is up to 3 months. Perhaps people who have experienced it can share their experience. But I think if you look at the prices of some of the batteries, the wait is well worth it! For instance, 25.6v 100 ah 2.5kw going for less than #390k for up to 2 units. I think the cheapest we have seen here is Joykoo from zeestone @ #520k,followed by Cworth @ #555k Is 25.6v 280ah available? |

dryakson: My question is about solar generator. I have 1 million naira to set up solar for my 2 beds. Just to power 43' TV, inverter fridge, 2 fans, decoder, phone charging and light bulbs. I'm in love with Ecoflow Delta 2 with 1kwh. Do you advise me to go with it or just set up conventional solar set up? From my calculations, I'll not be drawing more than 400w during the day, which a jinko 600w penel will give me during the day and I'll use the charge in the night. My chairman please go for a conventional solar setup. E get why. |

USD was about ₦120 then, so $1500 for a 200w panel. 2.2m in today's money! Omo! Thank God for China sha. |
