I don't know whether it was so for the junior staffs, but I can assure everyone that a good number of the senior staffs at the PTDF towers were in office yesterday despite the public holiday. I will reiterate that I don't know any reasons behind the "unprofessional" handling of this year's announcement of award winners, but everything from my short conversation with one of the senior staffs shows that the lists will be released, or perhaps the successful scholars will be contacted any moment from today, running through the week.

PS: Everyone will know their fates before the week runs out according to the most authentic of sources. No insults please, I am only making known to one and all the new information in my hands.

A friend that got ptdf lss last year was lamenting that ptdf has not paid them since last year that he was the one funding the program.

I was one of the successful applicant this year.
I intend to choose the top schools e.g IPS COE,AUST. But I was afraid when I heard this from a friend because I cannt afford to fund myself in our own public schools talkless of Top Notch schools.

If I can fund myself there is no need for me to apply for Ptdf.

What he told you is very true. I have a friend that got lss last year and up till now he's not received a kobo from them. He's actually the one funding his studies. But hopefully this year they might decide to change the way they handle the lss since they're giving more lss this year.

Did you get what I mean? It means the results were published even before you receive your invite. It doesn't add up!

Well, I didn't sit for the exams last year. But based on what my friends told me. Test was conducted in March ending and interviews were conducted in April, 2016.

Yes it was on 10th. Manager is wrong. I think he relies on what he saw on their website. What he doesnt know is that it takes time before they update a news in their site.

I don't think so. They can't delay such news for up to 10 days before being published on their website.

The education department of PTDF are really working hard for the best result so no one will be cheated. Expect the list latest September 1st. It is our tradition to release list on fridays

Thanks for the info. However, it's not in PTDF's tradition to release results on Fridays. If you check the last two scholarship results carefully, you will find out that both were released on Mondays.
2014/2015 scholarship results were released on Monday, 14th July 2014
2016/2017 scholarship results were released on Monday, 20th June, 2016.

Well, the PTDF doesn't need a diplomatic leverage to that. Given the 3 types of visa applications, standard which takes about 30 days now, priority service takes about 5 working days for £550 and then the premium service which takes a maximum of 48hours to come out with a decision for ~£1000. The PTDF pays for visa applications and so has to pay the premium if it's the only way one can meet up.


By the way the list is being approved today and 5 candidates for each state.

I still think there's strong need to put pressure on them to release the list. They've become so predictable that everyone here is not happy with the way they are delaying the list unnecessarily.
