We all know in east Enugu is a big city with companies littered there and are also a tourist hub
Abia have Aba where shoes and clothes and pother essential commodities are produced and sold plus oil reserves too.
Anambra have their market where people troop in and out transacting millions everyday.
Imo have oil and gas and also quality education and also a tourist hub hence the classy hotels littered all around the place.
Ebonyi the rising state as we can see have limestone in huge quantity, they also have rice cultivation in abundance.

What is Osun known for?? ? ?? ?? and the baggar said 23 hour electricity. grin grin
This is a typical inner street in Ekiti, where people live... sadly, it is similar in most of their towns... from Oshogbo to Ibadan to ogbomosho to oyo to ado ekiti.

They have good areas not denying it, but this is where 90% of their average population live. The remain 10% are either government workers, politicians, big businessmen(which includes igbos in the midst) and maybe the fortunate ones. Those 10% leave in the outskirts of the town that are newly developing areas.

This is Oke Imesi ekiti.

Unbiased1:
The only way we can enjoy the 3 major Igbo threads on Nairaland is if we all move our activities to Telegram. Opening a Telegram channel to showcase all these pictures from Igbo land and have meaningful discussions without interruptions from idiots is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. Not everyone may agree with me on this but, seeing the way miscreants disturb the 3 main Igbo threads on nairaland is very annoying.

Benefits of using Telegram Channels:
1) The administrator of the channel doesn't need basic or advanced knowledge of computer programming to open a Telegram channel or group.
2) Unlike Nairaland with biased moderators, a Telegram channel or group can be opened by a trusted person who will have the power to delete stupid posts from miscreants and remove the miscreants from the channel.
3) We all know how one idiot, people call Chino, terrorize Igbo threads with countless number of monikers. On Telegram, once such a person is removed from the group, he or she can't gain access to the group even if he or she clicks on the group's link. That way, a miscreant like Chino will be gone for good.
4) The Channel can have thousands of members who will never miss any update. Once a person joins the channel, the person will always get updated with whatever happens in the channel.

When there is a special news or event taking place in Igbo land, you can always login to your Nairaland account and create a thread for it on Nairaland so it can hit front page and cause heart attack for enemies of Igbo land.

All we need is to create an Igbo Telegram channel, it could be 1 main channel or 3 different channels just as we have 3 different threads on this annoying Nairaland platform. Once the channel or group is created, the link will be posted on the 3 main Igbo threads on Nairaland ( The Anambra thread, the IMO thread and the pan Igbo thread ) so our viewers can join the channel(s). We can also post the link on other threads on Nairaland to gather more members and once in while, we can create threads on Nairaland to showcase some pictures.

As for people who may join the channel days or weeks or months or even after a year it was created, can still scroll back to the beginning of the channel to view the first post that's another benefit of Telegram you don't get on Whatsapp.
How do we start this?

HealthRe: Why Is NCDC still adding discharged cases to their figures for states? by manchy7531(op): 12:24am On Apr 23, 2020
Iolo:
OP, what makes you think you’re right? Funny how the average Nigerian believes his line of thought is the most correct.

Check the calculations...the figures for each would never go down as discharges are still left in the total. The reason For this is that NCDC’s report is based on total (active + dead + recovered) cases so the numbers for each state would remain the same if the state as not gotten any new cases.
Dont get me wrong. My point is when releasing for states, they should just release for active cases, without including discharged or dead.
HealthRe: Why Is NCDC still adding discharged cases to their figures for states? by manchy7531(op): 12:21am On Apr 23, 2020
Jamesbiodun:
That's the total number of cases in every state now, you can remove the discharged patient and you will see they are not wrong.
No, it is wrong to release records based on just total number of cases.. It will be less confusing if they release for active cases and not include those that have been discharge, hence States like Osun, Anambra and Enugu should have 3, 0, and 0 cases respectively.
HealthRe: Why Is NCDC still adding discharged cases to their figures for states? by manchy7531(op): 12:11am On Apr 23, 2020
Lalasticala!!

Please NCDC needs to see this. I have been waiting patiently for them to update their records but seeing Osun, Enugu and Anambra having the same old figures despite releasing their patients calls for concern.

please push this forward, let them see it. i will also tag them on twitter.
HealthWhy Is NCDC still adding discharged cases to their figures for states? by manchy7531(op):
Yesterday we where told Anambra state discharged the only patient they had in their isolation facility. How come NCDC still have Anambra on its released figure?

https://www.anaedoonline.com/2020/04/22/coronavirus-anambra-discharges-index-case-patient/

On the 16th of April, Enugu state also discharged the second isolated patient, making Enugu state corona virus free, why is NCDC still including Enugu state in their list, don't they update their record, or is it a case of incompetent people being in charge of their records?

On the 11th, Osun discharged ten patients, six discharged on the 16th and one discharged on the 18th, making a total of seventeen patients discharged. Meanwhile on NCDC's daily update, it still has 20 cases for Osun state..

Very true
I think Ogun should come after Lagos
This state na just a bed of many companies
companies don’t make a developed city... secondly companies in ogun state are spread into different semi urban towns in ogun state. Asides the companies in ogun state that are supplying Lagos, ogun is largely a concentration of towns. It’s just the younger brother of Ibadan. Agbara, shagamu, Ijebu, Ota are just towns.. Abeokuta is a disappointment, nothing to write home about. Just flyovers, dual lane roads and what else? Dirty and unhygienic environment, poor and uneducated people living with goat and fowl shit everywhere. Poor living standard with dilapidated buildings littered all over the town. And obviously rustic brown roofs. Abeokuta Just like Ibadan smells.

The only decent city in the southwest outside Lagos is Akure. The rest are ewww. Noise closed

As a Nigerian that has travelled and Shuttling between regions etc. This is my "unbiased and candid Arrangements:
1. Lagos
2. Kano
3. Port-Harcourt
4. Ibadan
5. Enugu
6. Kaduna
7. Abuja

My basis for the arrangement:
- Economic activity, which is Number 1 and the reason I can call a city developed in the first place
- Infrastructures which is number 2.

* Would have rated kaduna before Ibadan but like I said, my number 1 basis is Economic Activity.

* Quite difficult to determine which should come first, kaduna or Enugu but in this case, I used cleanliness lol. Or maybe I'm just biased. I love state of Enugu. Very good weather too hence Enugu came first. This is subject to criticism which I can agree.

* Would have rated Abuja over kaduna, Enugu, Port-Harcourt and even Ibadan BUT my number 1 priority is Economic activity. 2. Abuja is a transit town. Go to Abuja during festive seasons and you'll hate yourself. Everybody's gone back home. Abuja is not a serious town. It's economic activity is not stable and secured. Remove the seat of power from Abuja and you won't even see Abuja on the map again. It won't even stand close to nasarawa sef in terms of economic activity. Abuja is really fake and it's a civil service town. Not a town for serious business. Wise companies place their headquarters in Abuja but have what they call "corporate headquarters" in Lagos just in case lol. They are wise. Businesses in Abuja are just there to be closer to Government officials and nothing more. After they get what they want, THEY LEAVE.

Please "NEATNESS" wasn't a basis used as what's the use of neatness where there's no money.
Your constructive criticisms are welcomed. First picture Enugu
You obviously don’t travel. Going by your analysis, Aba and Onitsha are obviously more developed than Enugu,Ibadan and kaduna. With the volume of economic activities, concentration of building/real estate and population density, Enugu, Kaduna and Ibadan don’t come close to Aba and Onitsha.

As an Afonja, the key aim of this thread is obviously to rate Ibadan ahead of Enugu, but from the back door. However, man can see through your deception.

Owerri, Benin and Asaba will even trump Ibadan, going by your city standards measurement. Ibadan may only be bigger in size but doesn’t come close. Asaba and owerri have functioning and active airports man. Ibadan can’t sustain its and instead filled with largely uneducated, hungry, poverty stricken populace.

Ibadan is only big but 95% mostly local and slum. The remaining 5% doesn’t compare to Enugu in anyway.

Aba’s infrastructure may have been neglected but you cant underrate Aba. Aba is not different from some cities in mainland Lagos.

Don’t even compare onitsha to IB. Onitsha is the second most densely populated city in Nigeria after Lagos.

Finally, CBN rated Lagos, Kano, Rivers, Anambra and Abia as states with the most volume of economic activity. Not Oyo, Ogun or even Abuja.
