biggest achievement of rochas = hotels
no industries, no infrastructure
Thanks. Am not here to argue with anybody, can you now face front or better still go hang yourself.

Btw, hotels are part of the tourism industry and infrastructure, privately built though.they are also employers of labour, no matter how small they are.

Masters Energy Group of Companies has set the ball rolling to address unemployment problem ravaging Nigerian youths, with plans to hire over 3000 direct workers at its multi-billion Petrochemical Complex located in Uturu, Abia state when completed and streamed up by the first quarter of 2015, the Vice Chairman /CEO of the company, Mr Vincent Ajala has said .

Ajala who addressed newsmen who paid a courtesy visit to company in Lagos over the weekend said, the plant has reached about 80 per cent completion, adding that when operational by next year it is expected to produce fertilizer, plastic products and other bye-products that will aid the production of consumer and producer goods in the country.

He explained that the product of the plant would be sold to both domestic and foreign markets which will go a long way to earn more income to the all the stakeholders .

The Executive Director and Company Secretary , Mrs Patience Dappa who spoke at the event explained that the main objective of building the Petrochemical complex was geared at creating more jobs in the catchment states of Imo, Abia, Anambra and Enugu where the plants were located ,adding that the project when operational will take some many people away from the labour market and engage in productive ventures aimed at improving national economy.

Laying emphasis on the building of refineries which has become a challenge to Nigeria as oil producing nation, Mr Ajala explained that the Masters Energy plans to build 20,000 modular refinery in the Niger Delta region as its contributions of ending importation of fuel in the country.

He said, the construction work will commence when the company had completed some of the on-going projects under construction.

At the gas downstream subsector, he stated that the Master Energy Group was determined to make cooking gas the choice energy for the future with the construction of bulk storage facility and the dedication of a jetty for Liquefied Petroleum Gas LPG to meet both domestic and industrial consumers in the region.

‘’As the world is going green with the use of gas to mitigate environmental pollution ,we cannot fold our alms and do things antic-clockwise . You will agree with me that Nigeria has more gas than oil . The international oil companies IOCs will continue to do business and flare our gas ,but we have to act and stop the flaring of natural gas. However, we have to start from somewhere .’’ he added.

He noted Nigeria government has bought the idea of encouraging the use of cooking gas as part of the strategies of preserving the environment and adding of value to gas resources , adding that his company has also welcome the idea with the construction of gas filling plant at Ojokoro- Alagbado suburb of Lagos as part of the strategy bringing gas to rural dwellers.

Daily independent gathered that the company with interests in oil marketing ,oil service, transportation,Marine and shipping,Oil trading and supplies, lubricants, Aviation, Dredging and shores had tank-farm that contains 158,000 metric of all brand of fuel located in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, which was rated as one of the largest In Sub-Sahara Africa.
