Once you move out from where you are living, dump your mattress, sofa, other furnitures that bedbugs hide in, and get new stuff for your new apartment, you've most probably gotten rid of bedbugs.

As for mosquitoes?
They are no respecter of persons or status.

There was a day i went to island to see someone but i didn't meet the person so i was kinda stranded. I had to passed the night inside a mosque. Wetin my eyes see for that night my mouth no fit talk am. Come and see huge black mosquitoes, I couldn't sleep the whole night, Na clapping here and there till dawn coupled with their singing in someone's ear. At least if it was bedbug, You'do just change your position and go sleep elsewhere. But for those demon, they are always everywhere at night and as you move, They will follow you

I have once got my phone screen damaged one night just because i wanted to wade off mosquito from biting me.

Yes i'm aware of the menace the insect is capable of. But the good side of the situation is when they are eventually eliminated from your household. Then you do rest and continue enjoying your peace of mind. In as much as bedbugs invasion can be a very terrible situation, I still see them as one off thing. And here is the big elephant in the room which you people choosing bedbug haven't mentioned and probably ignorant of.

Did you know Bedbugs do not transmit diseases like Mosquitoes does? Malaria kills people a lot but I have never heard where Bedbug killed anyone.

But all the aforementioned can't be said of mosquito. Mosquito is a day to day threat, They don't care wether you are hygienic or unhygienic, though being hygienic might reduce their presence but it doesn't really matter in the end because i have seen mosquitoes in highbrow areas in droves. Sometimes, No matter how careful or smart you are in locking your doors and windows, They do find a way to sneak in and it will be a sleepless night. Even when you spray with insecticide, some will go into hiding and resurface when the insecticide fades away Very useless and evil insect.

Mosquito's presence is everywhere in Nigeria but Bedbug presence is not.

May we never witnessed bedbugs in our life..

See bedbug invasion happened in my household during my teenage days, though it was a very bad situation. I use to watch on how my elder siblings usually sprinkle one small bottled powder popular then around all the furnitures in the house. But it all stopped when we relocated to our own house.

I realized if you are very hygienic, Bedbugs will hardly thrive in your household. As for me I'm extremely hygienic and i can clean and sweep a spot in my room up to ten times a day because I have OCD.

But you see mosquito, Mosquito is the reason why I hardly stay outside at night. There have been many times i would be craving for the Cool Night Breeze but those tiny bastards wouldn't allow me stay outside up till a minute before they start buzzing. One bite and my body system will be disrupted. Even while inside i will have to spray my room before turning in for the night. Even the stupid and annoying sound they make into ones ear can be very frustrating. To cap it all i have PTSD for Mosquito so you can see how serious i despise the insect. The insect is a vicious demon.

Sometimes I wonder why God created those insects, like mosquitoes, cockroach, house flies, bed bugs and others. They don't have any benefit to mankind other than to cause sicknesses.

This baffles me too. All these creations are just to keep humans on their toes. Life is too complicated.

But the funny thing is you will be surprised all those insect are useful in one way or the other. I once read that useless housefly makes flower bloom or something like that. But in all most of the insects are menace to human beings, A good example is Mosquito. That's the insect i hate most in this life, after is housefly, then cockroach. These 3 insects are too close to human beings. I don't have problems with bed-bugs provided i am very neat. But you see those useless 3 you can eliminate them entirely from your environment even if you reside in posh areas.

And lastly, the reason why these 3 insects exist in abundance in Nigeria is because Nigerians are extremely dirty and the 3 insects thrives in dirty environments.

Huge Pharmaceutical Companies abroad are cashing out Billions of dollars yearly on MALARIA!!! And i don't think they will ever pray Mosquitoes are entirely elinimated in Africa.
