Your qualification will determine the stage you will start from. There are 3 stages in total for the Professional Level:
1. Foundation stage also called Knowledge
2. Skills stage also called Application
3. Final stage

For the first stage, you write a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 papers depending on your field of study.

For the second stage, you write a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 papers depending on your mode of entry into this stage.

For the third stage which is the final stage, you write 5 papers.

In all stages the pass mark is 50, anything more is just a good ego boost.

I understand. Why i said that is not all banks use E. A. Take zenith for example, their E.A is an E.T at access in terms of heirarchy. At Zenith, you are either employed as a contract staff (G.A), or full staff (E.A).

full staff in zenith is ET.

FIRST BANK 60k
GTB. 45k
UNION BANK. 35k for marketer with a target of 35m in 6 months
DIAMOND BANK 40k
SKYE BANK 40k
ZENITH BANK 55k
UBA. 50-60k etc


Staffs are paid 100-150k (All payment are verified)

Your comment makes me laugh. Access bank's pay is the best. E.T earns nothing less than 230k. Diamond bank is close, over 200k. Zenith and Gtb pays good as well. At Zenith, E.T is known as E.A, and as an E.A, u are entitled to an upfront payment of about 800k paid in january. The upfront payment is just a fraction of your salary for the whole year, accumulated. The higher you go, the bigger the pay. Plus lots of allowances and profit sharing at the end of the year. As a contract staff though, you are entitled to nothing (even medicals). PS: Those people earn a lot, what kills them is the fact that most of them live large and they dont really save for the rainy days. Plus, there is no job security as you can be fired at anytime. How do i know all this?. I'm a contract staff.

Now to the OP, salary is not fixed but dependent on grade. Typically the grading in banks begin from GT, ET....GM. The salary of any full staff in a bank from entry level is from 100k and above.

am in Delta, according to d info on Ican site, d nearest ICAN tuition centre is in Benin.
the centre self is yet to renew their registration with ICAN since 2013.

He is a novice, nobody declares shortage as a bank staff, teller or whatever that U do that led to that. It's taken as connivance, complicity to theft or whatever it's called. If he wants to continue with the job, he should have paid it up since it's just 50k. Does he not have colleagues to advise or help out? Or relations that can cover up pending when he can repay back the loss? Does he expect the bank to accept his error or what? The fact that he is facing a panel is that he's already being marked as not of good quality. Even if he's spared after the query and all that, he may not survive retrenchment later. Nobody announces shortage as a bank staff that he can easily settle and that's what it's expected. And if your shortage is even higher than your ability then your bondsmen or referees will be called to pay for it and then of course sack letter follows.
