@zeemoh2012 and Jumayin keeping fingers crossed that this is the beginning of the bfp wave cos pregnancy symptoms are very similar to af, sometimes the cramps are even more intense like af is about to show any minute. Sending positive vibes your way girls

Thanks so much ,am so grateful, you said you haven't seen AF since September 26, what are you doing about? is there other medical reasons apart from stress and drugs that delays AF, have Google it but am scared of some results am seeing.

A major reason for such long cycles is annovulation which means the woman didn't ovulate.

Thanks so much @ mandydaisy, Have never been late likes this for the past one and the half years and the pain is premenstrual cramp, my abdomen is slightly bigger than normal, cant even wear most of my skirt, please what can I do to reduce it and i cant do sit-up because of the cramp.
I missed my steps and had dislocation on the 29th September 2014, and and have been on crushes since then, I was giving pain reliever injections and tablets, please can these delay my period.

Oh dear I'm sorry to hear this, I'm really sure it's the whole dislocation, injections and tablets that have interfered with your normal cycle. The bloating should wear off after your period comes so just try to ignore the uncomfortable feeling but it will go away so don't do any sit ups so you don't stress your leg and abdomen.

@fehintywealth my darling please don't beat yourself about it, I know it's very painful when your af delays and you feel oh I must definately be pregnant only to get the dreaded negative result. My last af was sept 26th and im not pregnant so trust me I understand your frustration but please don't let it crush you down, it will come and youl get ttc again and it will happen for you. I'm wondering why your doctor was so quick to conclude that its an infection when he didn't carry out any other tests. But have you been having such long cycles previously? If not are you stressed out (we all are I know) but I'm thinking that's a contributing factor since your not sleeping well at night. It is well my sister but I need you to take a moment and talk to yourself and consciously calm down and don't cry again please. As for the excruciating pain you are having is it like premenstral cramp or proper pain? Take pain killer first and arrange to see a doctor who can do a test or a scan to find out the cause. I pray that the peace of God flows into your mind and soothes you from every pain and hurt and I believe that this trial will turn into your testimony in Jesus name. Amen.

It delayed mine by 4days on my first cycle.

@erutoria have you tested yet, clomid delayed my cycle one time and some women get PMS during early pregnancy.... Baby dust

@Jslconsulting yeah I did mention earlier that we had all our tests come out normal but we are repeating all tests again, meaning repeat sfa for DH
@ megamum i don't knw any supplement but I knw iron is good since fibroids make one bleed a lot and can cause anemia. As for the fluid coming out from breasts I think it's not a good sign as during infertility investigations docs always ask if uv got fluid coming out, just try to see your doctor. Take care of yourself and don't be too stressed out.

He should add that 100k to improve something in his hospital abeg, God is still in the business of opening wombs!

Parsley tea dint work for me last time I tried it o, I ended up using this med that has now failed. Having AF delay for so long is the toughest part in this ttc journey cos when u should be moving on your kept on one spot waiting for her when normally you should be nearing another ovulation

@Jslconsulting thanks my dear, one has to remain hopeful oh cos that's the way to go. Yes we're in the process of getting our tests done and I'm praying we get answers and everything is fine.

@miraclebaby thanks for the encouraging words. Really at a point all the tests we did in 2011 came out 'all clear' asin HSG, hormone profile and it was more of a waiting game. Now I no kon dey understand so when d doc ( a new one) actually asked for a retest I knew it was the right step.

@Dasha01 I don laf tire for ur analysis of the plenty time wasters on the road to ttc esp those massagers choiii lie lie people! To answer ur question my dear I'v also heard the chances are higher after failed ivf but make we still dey look cos it has even contributed to my frustration whenever I think about the emotions and money that went down the drain. Doctors should never be trusted 100 percent cos they ended up sweet talking me by saying well since everything is ok I don't see why Ivf won't work for you and because my blood dey hot for pikin na so I jump. And when it failed he started blaming the 5cm fibriod that he was so sure could never be a problem. Ehen doctor? Both experiences were very horrible because I had severe ohss because of too many follicles but it is well. Now this yeye af has travelled today making 38 days and bfn on pt, it's been 7 days since I stopped d med to help me jump start it but for where d tin face east.

Una thank you for the welcome ooo and a big Amen to the prayer of having a short stay here, I say thesame to you all too baby dust to all the mama's and papa's of great children.

Good day wonderful people, I'm new here and I'd like to commend the togetherness in this big family as a matter of fact that's why I joined cos it's easier talking to people who understand exactly what it feels like to be ttc.

I'v been married for almost 4years and it's been a long rough road. I'v done everything in the book, clomid, femera, injectables and 2 IVF's and sadly nothing has worked! I got pregnant in the 2nd year of my marriage in the month we didn't even think it could happen cos we dtd just twice but sadly my joy ended before it could even start cos I found out at my 7week scan that it was a blighted ovum. It's been 1 year and 6 weeks since my miscarriage and nothing else. My RE has asked for a hormonal assay, HSG and sperm test so I'm just waiting for my AF so I get things moving.

So yes, that's a little background on me. I pray we all pull through this phase and God shines His face on us all quickly.
