Generally, IGBOS are ungrateful people.

They've been the most graceless and ungrateful visitors in the Southwest, particularly in Lagos, Ogun state and Ondo State as well.

I THINK THESE VILE VISITORS HAVE OVERSTAYED THEIR WELCOME!

Nairaland / General / Summary Of Appeal Court Judgment by mangood74: 7:43pm On Mar 08, 2023
OBI IS ALWAYS A STEP AHEAD OF THE SCAVENGER S

1. Court refused to vary the previous order of the court in favour INEC, so previous order stands.

2. Court allowed for INEC to re-configure BVAS provided all data is saved on a secured backend server before the next election and must give access to LP. (Emphasis on "which cannot be tampered with").

3. Labour should be given Certified True Copy of all data and result (physical).

Finally, the Court granted 100% access to LP to inspect the machines and certified original result sheets.

*Why they are calling me Omo - Ale - Gbadebo Rhodes - Vivour (GRV)*

1. I am their worst nightmare; a true Lagosian. The great grandson of an eminent indigenous Lagosian, Justice SB rhodes, a founding father of both the Nigerian executive and judiciary who served on the executive council of Nigeria with Adeyemo Alakija and together with similarly minded nationalists built Lagos, a credit they and their leader have been trying to steal.

2. They do not want a true Lagosian to rule lagos as no true son of Lagos would allow their unchecked rape of Lagos state resources to continue. Why do you think Funso Williams was killed?

3. I pledged to take the money (10% of Lagos state IGR) they are siphoning through Alpha beta and use it to empower 1 million poor Lagosians with interest free loans.

4. My father Barrister Olawale Rhodes-vivour a distinguished, detribalized true son of Lagos who embodies the Lagos spirit of accommodation fell in love with and married my wonderful mother Nkechi from the igbo tribe and I Gbadebo (The one who brings the crown) Chinedu (which means ‘God is leading’) Patrick(of noble origin) was born. The fact I would live up to my names and fulfill my destiny to bring back the crown they have stolen scares them.

5. They are scared that the circumstances of my birth (half yoruba half Igbo) and my family’s pedigree (Rhodes - Vivour history of unblemished public service) makes it easy for both members of the Igbo and yoruba tribes in Lagos to support, trust and see me as one of their own. My soaring acceptance and political profile as a unifier amongst the yorubas, Igbos, youths and all other tribes in Lagos state scares them so much that they’ve resorted to sponsoring hungry igbo and yoruba influencers to go on the social media space to promote an Igbo takeover agenda that does not exist and tag Lagos as a no man’s land in the hopes of linking it to me with an intent to incite my people, the yoruba against me. They are afraid I’ll take the government from them and bring it back for the benefit of the people of Lagos.

6. I refused their bribe offer of 20 billion naira to sell out my ticket and step down from the Governorship race for Sanwoolu. They can’t believe I would reject this offer to betray our cause. My refusal is why they’ve tagged me otherwise that I inherited the stubbornness from my mother’s side.

7. I supported and coordinated the campaign of Mr Peter Obi the most competent presidential candidate over a questionable candidate from my tribe.

8. I have the evidence and I am insisting on going to court with Mr Peter Obi to prove that the presidential election results figures in Lagos was tampered with and rigged and he Peter Obi won Lagos overwhelmingly with 936,000 votes against their leader’s paltry 155,000 votes which is not up to 25% of the total votes cast in Lagos and despite all their entreaties and the people they’ve sent to beg me using parapoism, I refused to back down.

9. I have a plan to rehabilitate the Agberos and thugs they only use for their dirty work and reintegrate them back into the society as responsible people.

10. I promised to fix the bad roads in all parts of Lagos, from Ikotun, Ijegun, satellite town, Lagos - badagry expressway and ikorodu to sagamu express way irrespective of the predominant tribe living there in order to boost international trade in Lagos.

11. I pledged to provide affordable housing to all Lagosians and stop the racket that goes on with Government built homes.

12. I am the biggest
I threat to their succession plan which will see Seyi Tinubu become governor after Sanwoolu.

Breaking: Enugu State Declared as Oil Producing State
By Queen Madu

Enugu is set to join other states to enjoy oil producing status.

This is the outcome of an impactful meeting of Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, ( RMAFC), in Abuja, the Nigeria’s capital.

Quoting an inside source, Freedom Square Tv said the netting ratified the request of Enugu to join other states in getting the revenue accrued to oil producing states.

In October 2021, Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi made a passionate appeal to the leadership of the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) to expedite action on the process to formally designate Enugu State as an oil-producing state in the country.

The governor drew the attention of RMAFC to the fact that “Enugu is about the only state in Nigeria which produces crude oil in commercial quantities without being formally accorded the status of an oil-bearing state”.

Details shortly…

Politics / Enugu Oil Fields by mangood74: 9:30pm On Dec 31, 2022
2023: Mbah Pledges to Activate Dormant Oil Fields in Enugu
Nigeria | 2 weeks ago
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu, Dr. Peter Mbah has pledged to ensure the activation of dormant oil fields in the state to boost the economy of the state when elected governor in 2023.

Mbah, while noting and commending the official designation of Enugu State as an oil producing given the oil wells co-owned by Enugu, Kogi and Anambra States in the Anambra River Basin, as a good development, promised to bring in foreign investors to fast-track the exploitation of other oil and gas fields solely owned by the state.

According to a statement, he spoke during town hall meetings attended by community, political, and religious leaders as well as youth and women groups, labour and professional bodies at Idaw River Layout and Eke Otu, Amechi-Uwani, headquarters of Enugu South East and Enugu South Central Development Centres, respectively, in Enugu South Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

“Apart from the OPL 916, which is co-owned, Enugu State has three other oil fields, including OPL 905, OPL 907 and OPL 914. We have the data of the oil deposits in these fields and we would begin to generate revenues from them.

“We equally have a lot of other mineral resources such as limestone, and coal, among others, and we must optimise them for the development of our state” he stated.

Mbah, who restated his determination to build Enugu into a $30 billion economy from the present $4.4 billion, equally promised to invest heavily in education, skill acquisition and vocational training to tackle unemployment, noting that massive job creation remained one of his major multi-pronged strategies to tackle insecurity in the state.

Meanwhile, the people of Enugu South LGA have assured Mbah of resounding success across the electoral wards in the local government in the 2023 general elections

Speaking, the Council Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area, Hon. Chimezie Nkwuo, said the people’s faith in Mbah was predicated on his inclusive approach to governance, adding that his decision to hear from the people on their specific needs despite his well-detailed manifesto, was a hallmark of people-oriented leadership.

In the same vein, the President-General, Obeagu Community town union, Chief Andy Egbo, commended Mbah for the town hall meetings, which he described as unprecedented in the history of elections in Enugu Stated, noting that it was a clear indication that he would be an accessible governor.

Egbo called for immediate steps to tackle the problem of insecurity in Obeagu and Enugu South Central Development Centre to ensure smooth campaigns and 2023 general elections.

Equally, critical stakeholders, political and community leaders, among them the member representing Enugu South/Enugu North Federal Constituency, Hon. Ofor Chukwuegbo; former Ambassador of Nigeria to Japan, Ambassador Gordi Agbo; Member representing Enugu South Urban State Constituency, Hon. Sam Ngene; and former Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Okey Ogbodo, while pledging the people’s support called for more democracy dividends for the people of the area.

Ogbodo observed that Enugu South LGA had been caught up by urbanisation, which had robbed the LGA of agricultural lands and equally led to emergence of urban slums due to inadequate infrastructure and enormous pressure on the few available ones.

Former Deputy Chairman of Enugu South LGA, Hon. Duke Nwafor, an alumnus of the East London University just as Mbah, recalled that the gubernatorial candidate stood out as a student at the university.
