its a silly question when you consider that over 95% of christians were born into christian families in a christian society. It would make more sense if you asked someone like an eskimo if he was a  christian and if he was how he manage to become a christian since he lived in the middle of nowhere where there was only snow no christians and no communication with the outside world.

It must be a sign of desperation. (imaginary) God is not answering their prayers.

a christian can start a topic & topic & that topic can still end up being derailed by another christian talkless of an atheist. Likewise a topic started by an atheist always ends up being derailed by (mostly) christians who feel they must air their views. Although i don't really like it when topics are derailed. I do believe that people should be free to voice their opinions.
