I used it to pay for University of Birmingham’s 2K deposit. I was charged about $2418 from my dom account so yeah you can use it.

No Bank will take charge upfront because rates flunctuates. The only charge that can be taken almost immediately is the TRMs portal charge for approval(which is taken once they approve transaction) before applicants wait on the queue for FX purchase n disbursement.

I started in 10th June got approval mail and was moved to disbursement reviewer on 21st. It's still on the disbursement reviewer and like I said haven't gotten any debit alert or notification just the differences between the two balances

Is your school Strathclyde? They also have that option. You'll fill a form, get a Western Union quote which you'll then take to the bank.

My problem is, I don't know how it relates to the normal Form A stuff, because banks don't send through WU, only receive

Hello My Form A application is currently on ADB Disbursement Reviewer Stage (GT Bank). I haven't gotten any debit alert whatsoever but I just saw on my bank app that my "current balance" is short 3,033,582.68 from the "book balance" (the transaction is 9241.93 cad. Does this mean GT bank is about to complete the transaction?

The question lies with the bank to confirm if they can process your payment using Western Union
Not sure where that leaves form A and if this might be an alternative.
