Yes...Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador (Canada) does offer course..based Master’s programs, not just research (thesis) ones

Hello everyone,

For those at Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN), I am trying to apply for a master’s program. I emailed a professor to ask about supervision, and he replied asking for my transcript and grades. My grades are not very strong. It has been over two weeks since I sent my transcript, and I haven’t received a response. I also sent a reminder email, but there has still been no reply.

My question is: can I apply for the course-based master’s route without a supervisor? Is it possible to secure admission into a master’s program at MUN without having a supervisor confirmed?

I would really appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Again, I never book appointments online; I did a walk-in appointment. It was really difficult before they allowed me in, but I was able to get my biometrics and passport submission done without going through the online booking.

Congrats but it was just her Luck and her God nothing more . People that have strong ties to Canada and Nigeria with good job and dollars account were refused . She did not show the prove of her relationship with her brother in Canada , no travel history, not a good paying job . It's just a miracle to get that visa in four days .

My sister is a secondary school teacher, just invitation from my brother in Canada,
statement of account 2.1 million for herself and daughter.
Just be simple with your application and do not add unnecessary documents.
1. Employment letter from her school
2. Statement of account 2.1 million
3. Invitation letter from my brother
4. Letter of Intent
5. Consent letter for my daughter. Her dad got it notarize.

That was all I submitted. She was really discouraged to apply; I encourage her to give it a try and make the application simple.

Advise keep your application simple, landed properties is not part of Canada visa application!

I also want to use DHL for the passport return. Do I need to fill any dhl form for the return, or just to pay the dhl return fee and send a confirmation slip along the required documents for submission.

Hello fam. My sister applied for a visit visa for my mom, today makes it 3 months and my sister called MP to intervene, after few hours MP office called my sister back, that she applied for a supervisa. How long does it take to process a super-visa?

Again, my sister submitted insurance covering 50k dollars, I was told she supposed to pay for insurance covering 100k, can this be changed? would they deny her because of the insurance?

Please help with my question for those who have experience with super visa

The forms you need are online immediately you start the process you can see the forms they are asking you to fill. Mine was 2 the application form and family declaration form. Then I had a schedule A form which was optional
You need to attach your passport photograph with the required specifications in a section while filling up your application.
I would say start the process and the rest is explanatory

Today i got a msg from VFS Global that my passport is ready for collection, after the Canada visa section emailed me about misrepresentation on my application.

Though i replied them with a letter about the misrepresentation on the visa application i filled, not stating my immigration history with USA.

Has anybody ever been in this situation and got approve after been sent a replied letter to them about the misrepresentation? Just scared not to ban for 5 years, has they stated on the letter

Yes, at the end of the letter, they asked me to respond to their decision within five calendar days

What you should be battling is for you... 'not to be rendered inadmissible to Canada'.. and not the denial decision!!
You can reapply or appeal a denial but not a decision to be rendered inadmissible!!
Pls act smartly and promptly... I've witnessed too many cases in the recent times to even give a specific advise... Everyone claims they either forgot or it's an error!
Make emphatic reference to the e-mail you earlier sent.... It could be your saving grace.

Do what you did on the 14th of March, '17 to them again and probably do it better too. Let them know of the email earlier sent, at least that becomes an advantage now IMO.... But you guys should stop deliberately denying previous visa refusals by the US Embassy. All the best as you respond to them, regards!

I just received an email from Canada visa immigration section, reaching out to me for “misrepresentation because you did not provide a complete and truthful answer regarding your prior immigration history with the United States of America”.

I have been denied US Visa, and i forgot to state it on my application, after one week of submittion of my application, i realized the mistake and i quickly email the Canada visa section with a corrected filled visa application form, and a letter of explanation. I was suprised today to received an email denying my application for not stating my previous USA denial!

application submitted 7th March, 2017 and corrected application sent via email to canada visa section on March 14th 2017, received a letter of denial on 12 April 2017, and i was given 5 days to respond back to them.

Please i ask for advise on what to do next. Please house urgent response needed asap
